The Buying Spree continues!!!!  3.4 Million Volume so far today.  Buy 10 Million for $1.75k, hold on to it and I have a hunch you'll be amazed.  A "hunch":

           "A feeling or guess based on intuition rather than known facts."

After all has been surveyed, quantified, compared and studied, one is still left with an unknown!  

Sometimes hunch have a place; I said sometimes.  Just think that in 1998 AOL (America Online) had better all around fundamentals than Amazon, yet today we know that having 1k shares of Amazon would have proved much better.

At this time, IFC is simply missing a Kick-butt Dev Team, if they, whomever they are, will rise to the occasion, IFC would at least have a chance of competing.

First and foremost I'm very glad to be part of a constructive and high quality conversation - your response exudes decency.  

I agree with what you're conveying and I believe that essentially we're on the same page, in the same spirit and aiming for the same outcome.  I believe my enthusiasm is a little more in line with bringing community awareness about the unavoidability of some traders coming into the space with slick trading tactics and with nothing more in mind than to make a quick penny.  Their only intent is the exploitation of quality projects in order to fulfill their short term goals.  These can sense upward momentum perhaps because they can see certain attributes, uniqueness or overall positive qualities of some projects, so they feel comfortable enough to even manipulate prices to a downward spiral just to gain buying opportunities.  

The short term price pickers are unavoidable and they might be applauded by some as they move through the space and make their quick penny but it's also good to know and to concrete into ones' mind that there's a better way when it comes to investing in quality projects with promising futures.  The more excellent way is investing in a project and maintaining that investment through the roller coaster ride until the foundation is laid.  The fact is that when quality projects take off they become harder to manipulate.  There seems to be an inverse relationship between the rise in price of a coin and the level of manipulation; the higher the price of a coin the harder it becomes to manipulate that coin.  The opportunity to influence price will always exist but it becomes less and less accessible.  

With a coin like $XVG, there are many plausible attributes:  An amalgamated community, a real world need for our coin, a forward looking and responsive development team and a perfect timeliness for what we have to offer.  I say Verge Currency has a future and I'll say to all that are willing to maximize profits by being patient, that you have found a home with $XVG.

These questions are what I had in mind when suggesting approximate target dates for Road Map implementation.  Target dates provide guidance to those checking things out and ultimately provides confidence in Dev Team as they continue to implement according to projections - it builds credibility in the whole project which goes a long way in attracting and keeping new money and right new "New Mone" it's where is at.  Also a brief summary of each mile marker on the road map would help with those not necessarily tech savvy but ver money savvy.

Good to hear this since Staking Dividends are quite an incentive to Holders.  Vitalik's been dying to implement PoS for a reason.  Store of Value for commercial purposes (my ability to buy and sell with a certain currency) makes any coin valuable.  Some coins have gotten so high that they're not going to fulfill their intended destiny of being a currency since a whole coin is no longer accessible to the masses.  Folks like to transact in wholes.  I rather own $5.00 USD than 0.00001 of anything else - I believe it's how people think.  I rather have 10 $Verges than .000001 of something else.

So am I to conclude that the success of a coin is pegged to trading tactics?  A fine trading strategy will attract new investors?  How about the objective of the coin, the development behind it, it's ground gains as it relates to adoption and a great community behind it; are these meaningful?  I agree if one's objective is to pump & dump and make or loose a quick penny than the suggested tactics might matter a bit, but if the objective goes beyond childish gains then one should keep focused on the long term strategy of a coins' end result; that is to say on a coins' adoption according to its intended purpose. 

If the a coins' objective is to become a transactional currency then each time it's implemented in commerce or as an exchange of value one could say the coin is moving forward and gaining in value.  That's the focus of Verge, we're a currency that's focused on privacy and its long term value is ultimately tied to its adoption.

Website offers static presentation of goal, to do this with Twitter and Thread you'd have to post every hour.  Additionally, constantly meeting goals by an approximate date builds trust and confidence in the Developers and that goes a long way specially with all the "New Money" coming into the space.  A simple implementation  "Target Time Frame" expressed in a quarterly format keeps the "minimalist" style your aiming for.  I.e.,

Some of us in the community want to be long term holders of $XVG  any thoughts of implementing PoS?  This would be an awesome eco friendly option to all wanting to go very long on coin plus it would provide much value.

Much love for the new Website but what happened to the ROADMAP TIMELINE?  Would be nice to have each item on Roadmap be a Link pointing to a subject expansion paragraph and an "implementation by" date.  If it's supposed to be like this it's not working on my end.

I love the new Website but what happened to the ROADMAP TIMELINE on the Website?  A "roadmap" without an "accomplish by date" is like a peanut butter & jelly sandwich without jelly.

Post who you are, what you've done and what you'll do as an IFC Dev;  That might be a start.  However, it's still my opinion that the Previous Dev Team is about to rise again and at this point they're just amassing the coin right now, because when the news hits, the coin is gonna explode. 

With all the new Coins and Platforms being released everyday most don't fit the bill for being a transactional currency.  IFC has this for itself, it can compete as a currency.

I believe the objective of this thread is to make a case for VERGE CURRENCY. 

Good deal.  Wether $.03, $.30 or a $1.00 it's gonna need continuous aggressive action.  Things in the space are now moving faster than ever and we need to stay relevant - not a second to sleep.  It's gonna take Mining as well.  I remember buying my ETH Rigs last year at around this time and thinking I had made an error, specially after the ETH/ETC HF.  Today at $400 a pop I wished I would have purchased an army of Rigs.  The Verge Network needs Mining support from the community, a year from now we might be pleasantly surprised.
