61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: October 29, 2018, 04:42:15 AM
It depends on how good the project is. I personally prefer buying when coin is available in an exchange, most ICO has no assurance wether will be released in the market or not. Most ICO also has higher price during ICO than in tge exchange, which is not really supposed to happen. If you are to invest in an ICO, take a lot of reading and also choose a project having good team and larger community.

It would depend on the project and what is your purpose for investing if it would be for short term or long term. If you are there for the short term then it would be better if you would be buying in an exchange in which you can have just a quick flip may it be in just hours, days or a few weeks. If you want to invest on the coin for the long term then it would be better if you would be investing on it during ICO in which there are bonuses so if you would calculate it then you would be buying below ICO price.

63  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For newbie, Why I choose bounty over ICO? on: October 28, 2018, 03:09:57 AM
Earn money @ Zero risk.Doing bounty as part time job is awesome. They may be not profitable as previous year, but still we can earn fair amount of money from doing bounties.

Investing in ICO needs money and if you don't have that then might as well invest your time in doing bounties and be able to obtain the coins. The difference is that when you are doing bounties, you are not assured that you will be receiving anything since anytime the bounty may be canceled or something might happen that will let you not receive any coins and when you bought in ICO, you know you will receive your coins unless you are scammed. Anyway, I would choose bounty now because I don't have the means to have the coin through ICO.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: All-Time-High will happen again after Bitcoin Halving on 2020? on: October 28, 2018, 02:53:31 AM
Probably won't take that long. Think i'll probably pass ATH late 2019 or early 2020. By the time the halving happens it'll probably be in full on boom mode going to 6 digits.

I'm hoping for the new all-time high sooner or earlier than the halving too. Bitcoin is capable of that. Did you see the pump that happened a few weeks ago? It goes up thousand dollars in just an hour that it would not be impossible to reach a few thousands more in just a short period of time. It may be quiet in the market now and this would be a good time to build up your portfolio. I believe before 2020, there would be a new all-time high as there are more people who know bitcoin now.

65  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: October 28, 2018, 02:42:28 AM
To make a profit you do not have to invest in large amounts, no matter how much money you invest, you have the opportunity to make a profit from the investment, but with a note that at least you have to choose the right crypto to invest and you are able to be patient for the long term, because investing anywhere will take a long time if you want good profits.

Investing in the right coin is important because even if it would take a long time before you can see the profits you made in that investment, it might still be worth it holding on to and you can say after you got your profits that your patience paid off well. Unfortunately, it is not applicable in all instances and you may want to consider taking profits from time to time because the future is still uncertain so you might want to be assured that you will be able to get back your capital and let your profit earn profit.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Practical is Bitcoin As Payment Service? on: October 27, 2018, 12:52:57 PM
Bitcoin as a payment service in practical is simply possible. This is all through the adoption that is happening all around as well the user friendly applications that are getting into usage. Initially people will feel some difficulty in using the services, which further let's them use it same as that of using PayPal and other services.

However, there is still a problem when it comes to stability. Just look at what happened last December when there are people flocking sending coins and the result is that a high transaction fee because people just want to make their transaction fast so they are willing to pay higher that's why it keeps going up. It would take a few minutes as well or hours if the network is really clogged for you to receive or send coins. For now, it wouldn't be able to carry the volume if more people will be using it same as PayPal but then it would be resolved in the future.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Companies aren't responsible for innovation, consumers are on: October 27, 2018, 12:33:57 PM
I agree to the assertion the assertion that consumers are the ones majorly responsible for innovations.
Companies can only executive the innovations after they must have collected feed backs regarding their products via questionaires.

Well, the companies are the one doing the implementation of the project while the customers are the one giving the idea to the company as to what they should be doing that's why there are surveys always and innovation doesn't stop because there is always a new idea popping up. Even those company giants who are in the top are always doing something new because they cannot sustain their position if they would make people be bored and if they don't offer something new that would make people excited.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need a lot of Cryptocurrencies? on: October 26, 2018, 05:13:49 AM

there are just company that created coins only to be used in their own services which its only in their own economy but just listed on coinmarketcap so its still good if you get to benefit from it. recently i saw a token SURETY which were pumped but also dumped every time, i got interested and learned the tokens can be used in their own insurance services. yes we don't need much cryptocurrencies but we also can't stop developers from creating one.

When you say need, there is really not a need because we can still have the transactions in the old way without having to make use of blockchain technology. As for the creation of coins, there are different purposes of different coins so maybe one coin for each category would be enough but then since it is a business, there are a lot of coins to choose from depending on what kind of coin you prefer and what benefit you can get from it. We don't need that thousands of coins and eventually, we would be able to see those coins that has really a worth and others would be gone.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: October 26, 2018, 05:09:02 AM
of course cryptocurrency will help expand and develop world business. for example now many countries and companies have used blockchain technology for their products such as big camera companies and prosche. and I've also read articles about blockchain use in the industrial and health fields. over time the number of countries and companies that use blockchain is increasing. this proves cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are very helpful for the economy and business.

When it comes to blockchain technology then there are many who are studying their system as to how they can adopt the technology so that they would be able to make use of it and make their transactions more efficient and effective. I do believe that cryptocurrencies can make a change but then the question still lies if they would have cryptocurrency in their transaction or they would just have blockchain technology without having a cryptocurrency because it is entirely possible.

As for expanding the world business, it would be a big help because it would be easier to pay/receive coins because it would become a universal currency so there would be no need for conversion.
70  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keep All Coins in Hardware Wallet vs Separating Some in Exchanges/Other Wallets on: October 26, 2018, 04:55:56 AM
Putting all our coin in one place is very risky. Hard wallet is good and safe but if we lost it, its will be a problem. Better we store our coin in different place and keep our private key safe

Yes, that is what should be done by the people but there are times when some are just too lazy to separate their coins because it is bothersome for them to access different wallets so in the end they would regret not putting their coins in different wallets when their wallet is hacked.

We know that it is very risky to just put your coins in one wallet or exchange perhaps and if I have to choose between putting my coins in a hardware wallet or exchange then I would choose the previous one because it is much safer since I am the only one that has access to that wallet.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 25, 2018, 05:14:54 AM
I want to do this in the future to consider trading as my source of income full time
But i know i have more to learn ,my plan is to undergo trainings needed.

I don't think trading can be learned instantly, it certainly takes a lot of time to get experience at every market moment. therefore starting to study now is the right choice for the future

Trading cannot be learned instantly because it is a step by step process. You will only develop your trading experties through experience. You might get lucky at first being able to profit in your first trade but if you are not careful then you would eventually lose what you have gained.

One thing that would be a hindrance for you when trading is your emotions and you would be able to learn to control it when you are always trading. You would notice that you become more rational and not easily affected by other people's opinion. You know when to buy and to sell and know risk management.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you still belive in Crypto ? on: October 25, 2018, 05:09:16 AM
Yes, I still believe in Crypto, despite the actual market situation. You have to remember that working with cryptocurrencies require patience always, because there is a high level of price's volatility, and the whole crypto market is also unstable, going up and down all the time.
So, you have to be patient a little bit, and to be more careful before choosing the coins which you will trade.

I still believe in cryptocurrency. It might not be doing good at the moment because of the bear market but then we can eventually recover and you would be proud of yourself holding on to your coin. If it is a sh*tcoin though then good luck with that because there is a lesser chance that it would recover and it might be left behind when the bull run comes.

There is a lot of good news going on and a lot of development as well that would lead to adoption of the people. It is something new so we need to be patient and wait for the time to come when people can see the importance of having it.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty profitable? on: October 25, 2018, 05:05:03 AM
Choosing the right bounty projects with good pay rates and also limited time-frames is important. Bounties that pay fixed amount weekly are usually always good. Member rank also affects the stakes a lot.

Some bounties are profitable and some are not. It would depend on the project if it would be successful in its project because if not then they might not be able to push through with the project which would result to no rewards and all your effort would be wasted.

I prefer bounties in which there is an escrow because most likely, you will be paid. I have enough experience with those unpaid bounties before that I don't usually join projects in which it is not escrowed. It would be much preferred if it is a bitcoin paid bounty because they are paying weekly so you are sure you will be paid.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why not be rich? Is it impossible for you? on: October 24, 2018, 12:48:25 PM
In my Opinion, These coins are not trustable and shit coins. We are in a bear trend and We should not invest to ICO's, now because Bitcoin and the rest of altcoins values is going down. This is affect to ICO's directly. People cant earn money coins why focus the ICO's ? this is just losing money.

It's funny how you are discouraging someone to invest in ICOs yet you are promoting one. Isn't it ironic?

Anyway, people have the opportunity to become rich but due to inevitable circumstances, some cannot do so while others have the opportunity already in their lap but they can't recognize it because they either lack the courage or they are just contented with their state now even though there is a chance for them to improve.

Being involved with cryptocurrency is a great opportunity to be rich given that the price of the coin would increase one day but it should be combined with hard work and a lot of patience for one to become rich one day.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My objective opinion, why cryptocurrency will live and develop on: October 24, 2018, 12:39:57 PM
I will give you a simple example. Remember that when debit cards appeared, people also treated it with caution, because many did not understand how it works and why it was necessary? but after they began to understand, they realized that it is very convenient and makes life easier for us, the same applies to cryptocurrency - this is the newest technology of the 21st century, the world does not stand still and every day invents something new. Therefore, I believe that coriptocurrency is the future, we just need more time for the whole world to understand this technology. what do you think?  Cool

Just like what happens with the internet and with the computer as well before. They taught that it would just be a fad and would be lost after some time when people realize that they are just wasting their time with it but then look at what happened. We are benefitting from it because we can work fast through computers and almost all transactions need internet for us to transmit information as fast as possible.

Before, it would take days before one can read a letter and now, it would just take one click for one to send an e-mail. The same thing would happen with cryptocurrency when people would slowly adopt it.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news on: October 24, 2018, 12:26:16 PM
I agree to this! being knowledgeable in things are the most important thing to make your fears and doubt gone. If your equipped enough with knowledge about something then you won't be affected to all bad news spreading around you. You need to research and study more about bitcoin if you want to overcome all of those.

I am hesitant with bitcoin at first thinking that it might be one of those MLM scams before but then due to curiosity, I research more about it. I was scammed at first joining those cloud mining sites and I learned my lesson from it. I don't know anyone personally who has involved with cryptocurrencies during that time and I am happy now that more people whom I knew personally are slowly getting engaged in bitcoin. One day, mass adoption would happen and we would be proud of being in here first then the majority.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: October 23, 2018, 12:35:21 PM
$20,000 is not a benchmark for bitcoin and we should expect more big figures to come up in some days to come.  Currently we are at a level were bitcoin is going to makes another move and we don't actually know we're it is going to lead to! It might end around $30,000 $100,000 or possibly $1,000,000.

I think that we would again reach $20k one day but it would happen maybe in a few months or years time. We don't know yet what will happen but one thing I know is that day by day, the people who knew about bitcoin are getting larger so in due time, they would consider adopting it and then the mass adoption that we are waiting for would happen.

For those who hold tight to their coin would be rewarded. Of course, we shouldn't just be lax and wait for the time that bitcoin would go up. If possible, one should study trading as well so that even if the market is not doing good, we would still be earning.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: October 23, 2018, 12:23:20 PM
The reaction of people varies when it comes to education on cryptocurrency especially bitcoin since it is the most popular. I believe most people are still finding it very difficult to understand the amazing world of bitcoin. Anytime, I tried explaining crypto to some of my friends they find it very difficult to comprehend.

Yes, some of them are having difficulty in understanding what's the purpose of bitcoin and as to how it is used. Some of them are asking me as to how I am earning from it. Some of them are not in favor of it due to the fact that it is not regulated and somehow it would give them the perception that is is illegal. The news as well has a big contribution in how they would perceive bitcoin because they heard that someone got scammed because of it so they would immediately conclude it is just a scam.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 23, 2018, 12:11:28 PM
In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?

I don't think bitcoin would be able to replace what paypal can do at the moment. The volume of transactions that the blockchain of bitcoin can process is still limited that's why if there are too many people who would be using it then it would take a long time for one to complete its transactions.

Aside from that, merchants still are not confident with bitcoin adopting it as payment option due to the fact that its price is fluctuating so there is a possibility for them to lose instead of gain from their business because most probably, they would still use fiat in their other transactions.
