We can invest, please provide more info?

ATM we have an investor pending, but we are opened to other investors if they would like to come.

We are not looking for a crowdfunding, but to one or a few investor that woud like to invest for o total of 50,000$ in the project.

Hi, we are in the way of a big investor, not a crowdfunding.

so how soon?

It depends on the date the investor confirms the investment.

PROJECT CLOSED, SORRY

RaiBlocks forking project

Original RaiBlocks thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1381323
Original RaiBlocks wiki and specs: https://github.com/clemahieu/raiblocks/wiki

We'll snapshot blockchain for cloning funds on 1st Septemper 2016 00:00 GMT +0.

Hi to all, I annunce I'm negotiating with a investor to get enough funds (50,000$) to start development a fork of the famous RaiBlocks project.

Why talk to a investor? Is there any business plan?
Since people seem not ready to invest their own money, crowdfunding seems to be the worst way. So a investor is maybe the best way to go on. There will be a business plan behind, no single cent will be asked to people for use the fork, the money we are gonna get will come from some kind of "faucet mining addon", allowing companies or group of person to get a temporary mining bonus paying some bitcoin. That will force companies or group to hire people, maximizing their investment and giving more chanche of faucet-job to the mass. The money got in this way will be used to cover costs and ensure a constant support to the project.

What do you mean for "faucet mining"?
Faucet mining gives you a qty of a coin for a captcha completion. The qty of coin spared for each click will be calculated starting from the number of click, the time unit supply available and your clicks. (Like RaiBlocks)

Has this project a name or brand yet?
No, the name is the less important thing, indeed name and brand can be done in a very short time and has nothing to do with big work of development.

Is it gonna be free?
Yes, the fork project wil be free to use in each single part.

Can i swap my RaiBlocks?
Yes, and better, your RaiBlocks will be cloned in the new blockchain, so if RaiBlocks developers return, you will have a double chance. We'll just take a snapshot of the current RaiBlocks blockchain and create a new genesis account, sending funds to the snapshotted addresses. Of course the addresses will be generated by the seed in the same way, just remember to store safely your RaiBlocks seed.

What are you going to develop?
For sure, mainly OS wallets, custom RPC, dedicated exchange and a usable service for it. If all go well we'll deploy light wallet and mobile app wallet too.

How much time time will you need for development?
Since most of code is already written (RaiBlocks), from the date we get funds from investor, i think we'll be able to provide it in 3-6months.

So, what are the difference with original RaiBlocks project, what does fork project have more?
- Constant support
- Business sustainable
- Minors features like a better GUI
- Bigger features to come...

Well, that's our project proposal, feel free to comment and give us tips. Thank you.

OK i am waiting for rexnova project
After last one ICO fork fail, hope this will success

Well I think it could have success, because we are not asking funds to community exposing them to a "risk" but to a private investor. The funds inside RaiBlocks blockchain won't be touched but cloned into the new one and the funds for long time support will come from "faucet mining bonus" that will be used from companies, so companies for maximize their investment will try to hire more people, giving more job Wink

Seriously a Pokemon GO mod? lol  Roll Eyes

I hope all of you realize that it tooks niantic 2+ years to come up with it and partnerships with Google to be able to use their Earth services.
Then still they created ingress to be able to create the stops you see in game.

Don't believe the hype

We are not going to make a pokemon go like system.

- RaiBlocks Block chain snapshot and cloned: you'll be able to recover all your funds on your address: so if (0.0001%) Colin returns, you will have the same Mrai. With this feature who have Rai will just have the same qty on the new coin. Of course we've planned to keep the same total supply.
If you clone RaiBlocks blockchain, how can you distribute new coin? Without genesis account private key?

Simple creating a new genesis account and sending imports to the snapshotted addresses of RaiBlocks blockchain. The new coin wallet will generate the address in the same way by the "old" seed.
The date we'll take snapshot will be annunced of course.

I want this continue, I'm operating for this.

Part1: I'm mad with Colin and Wesley.

I'm really mad see that Colin and Wesley left community, project and more for months without saying a single word! This behavior is a absolutely zero respect for people who followed it and invested in it.

Was so hard tell a single word to community, explaining the reason of this silence?

Was a question of money? You had thousands of clikc each hour on your faucet page and you coult make money for cover vps and other costs (your work too).

Was a question of time? Why don't say it?

My conclusion, and i don't want to be offensive, never start a project again, you have a tiny fraction of what a good leader should have.

Part2: I want this continue, and I'm operating for this.

I'm trying to get some funds from a private investor to continue this coin, I've planned this feature:

- No ICO, No Fundrasing: get initial funds from investor and then further funds from some mining "addon", under more explained
- Long live to faucet: faucet will continue to exist, it will free and mostly the same as now. To involve big companies to create more jobs we'll place some addons like "you want to mine 5% more in 24h? Pay a tot in bitcoin". So companies will look for more workers to maximize their investment. More jobs = more money for people. We'll use that money to keep a long time support, people won't have to pay to use it.

I'll update comunity if I get good feedback from the investor. Good day to all, we'll do our best to continue this project.

I really think this has potential, just waiting to meet the investor.
