So every PSU i tried same happens.. I know theres something wrong with the board as the power socket has melted and so did the solder.. dunno how or what i did :/

Anyways can someone give me advice please on how i can try fixing it myself or if theres a decent reliable trustworthy repair person?

69  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining on laptop on: June 29, 2014, 04:28:45 PM
the cpu power really isnt worth it like the guys say and will just burn your lappie out..
You can always try a powered port with a few antminer, block erupters or something and use your laptop for cgminer

but a lappie is pointless on its own for mining

hiya
I have a dell dimension E520 a hexminer and a bitcoin block (bitcoin erupter cube) and was wondering what psu i would need power wise to run these babies together? i was thinking of 850w but not sure as the bitcoin block needs a psu higher then 500w as i think (i could be wrong) it needs 350w

Thanks in advance Smiley
