61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's on your mind on: September 28, 2024, 11:03:09 PM
As an investor who is eager to diversify his wealth to other areas what do you think about this, Building a hotel as means of investment or buying a bitcoins for a long term investment. If you are to choose among this options, which will you choose base on your personal view of things.
Share your idea and Help someone to think right.
Of course Bitcoin because it would give me much higher return on investment then anything else. But, I wouldn't invest all my money into Bitcoin right away, instead of that I would follow DCA+DIP buying strategy and accumulate Bitcoin overtime.

For someone like me a hotel isn't a good investment option as it's quite hard to manage an hotel, but it's pretty easy to invest in Bitcoin on the other hand.

Someone who wants to get some fame in a society should definitely pick hotel as that's going to be much helpful for fame but if someone want to have better return on investment then Bitcoin is going to be a 10x better option than a hotel.
62  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Coinbase insured? on: September 28, 2024, 08:26:41 PM
Coinbase offers this vague promise on their website that they are "partially insured", but does anybody know what that actually means? If they are hacked and the addresses get destroyed or stolen (we'd never know which), then... where would that leave Coinbase depositors?
I don't know if I'm right or not but I heard somewhere that Coinbase's most Bitcoin's lie in their offline cold wallets that no one can hack unless they get to it physically get access to it. And, that could be true for this statement as well. If they have stored most of their Bitcoin assets to offline wallets then that's a good security measure and somewhat hack proof.

Let's say if 10% or $10 billion of their Bitcoin assets are available at their hot wallet and it somehow gets hacked then that could cause huge problems for them and also for the market in general. That could have very hard impact on the value of Bitcoin in general as most of the weak hands will keep dumping their Bitcoin at market.

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin for transactions in country where it is illegal. on: September 28, 2024, 08:05:33 PM
If proofs of payment are provided but in cryptocurrency, do you think the court will consider it even though transactions are tagged illegal with it? or will the case be thrown out and the owner of the property with the false claim of not receiving the money be allowed to go freely?
If such transactions are shown to court or law then both parties will have to pay the fines and may get behind bars for breaking the law. And, there's chance that both parties Bitcoin assets might get seized by the authorities once they learn about it. I think one should avoid Bitcoin transactions in a country where law doesn't allow it.
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I invest in month of October? on: September 28, 2024, 07:59:49 PM
My question is, is it advisable for a newbie who has never invested in Bitcoin before to take advantage of  October too Are there any limitations or considerations I should be aware of as a newbie?
Yes, it's advisable to invest in Bitcoin whenever it's price is low, at present time Bitcoin is already high in value because a few days ago its value was still below $60k, and now it's over $65k, and that's why it depends that either you want to invest in it now or wait for a dip so you can invest in it. I personally never invest in Bitcoin when it's value gets higher but some people recommend that type of investing.

There's high chance that in next 3 months Bitcoin might get to $80k in value but we can't neglect the fact that the market always goes up and down and those up and down movements will continue to be part of the market. Bitcoin's current value at $65k can be good buying point if it gets to $80k value in next 3 months but if it goes below $55k then many newbies will get dishearten, and that's why I recommend you to learn about the market and its volatility first before investing in Bitcoin.

I would also suggest using an ad blocker to completely block those sponsored results in your searches. From my experience, they're mostly filled with scams. I would recommend ublock origin, see: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock
Good suggestion mate, it's much better to block those sponsored ads as those are mainly used by scammers to transfer internet more specifically the crypto users to phishing sites.

Google wants to earn money from those sponsored advertisements, and they don't really care if scammers use those advertisement spaces for phishing others, and that's why it's our duty to be safe from those phishing sites and whatever you suggested is going to be very helpful.

I also use Ublock origin myself and it's quite helpful in blocking of non-wanted elements on sites, and also advertisements that are present on all sites these days.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My poker freeroll experience. on: September 28, 2024, 03:09:14 PM
When you join regular freerolls, the players are so aggressive that you can't even play a few hands. Maybe people do have multiple accounts on the same table and they benefit from loss of one.
Personally, I haven't joined any of the freerolls but I would like to know is that even allowed at Stake.com to have multiple accounts? As far as I know, most casinos don't like players to have multiple accounts and I guess Stake should have similar rules when it comes to multiple accounts. I guess even if something like that is allowed but still one should not do that as that ethically not a good practice.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online slot games purely based on luck, or is there any skill involved? on: September 27, 2024, 10:45:33 PM
I wouldn't recommend using any strategies in gambling, by the way.
I highly agree with you, using of strategies in gambling isn't going to give any hedge to gamblers. The ones who lose money in gambling because of their weak luck will end up losing even more money by using any kind of strategy. That's why I believe it's much better to follow your advice and not to use any strategy on online casino games, especially on those slot games.
68  Economy / Gambling / Re: HI EVERYONE | SLOT MACHINES | AUSTRALIA | GREAT TIME on: September 27, 2024, 10:41:04 PM
I like to play on this site from Australia, it is unsurpassed and cool, try it and you if you are interested - Slotastic, the best site to have a great time playing online is this site dyal this is the most suitable it effectively combines all the techniques of the game for your great time playing, try and feel the game yourself it's worth it
So it's basically your own site that you're trying to promote here right? If that's the case then you should create a proper announcement thread for your casino instead of praising it like this. However, if you aren't the owner of the site or not even the representative of it, but you're mentioning it because you'll get paid for the shilling then that's the worst approach in doing something like that. I have noticed the domain name of the casino is quite unprofessional and it's hard to remember it because of the dashes and its name. I don't think that I would ever consider using a casino with such unprofessional domain name.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for huge financial collapse on: September 27, 2024, 10:33:18 PM
Get ready it's coming Banks not working and you can't get access to your money.
Only thing what works will be crypto or cash.
Why it's happening? Because this financial system will be not taken to new world 2025.
The new world order starts in 25 january 2025 then world will have new financial and banking system.
Banks wich has red orange or yellow colors on logo specially those will collapse.
as we go through 50% changes then it's obvious this financial system doesnt go to 2025 it will stay here also all the wars will be over by latest 25 january 2025 because 2025 is not year for wars the 2025 it's year for big collapse and deflation of falling the prices even the housing prices.
That's bullshit, it has nothing to do with reality. If you want to get attention then do something else instead of creating posts like this. Banks won't stop working in 2025 neither in 2030 or in near future. Most of the governments will of course work of CBDCs but those won't be able to change that current fiat based system but will add something to it so it can also have wide digital acceptance.

Everything that you've mentioned in your thread is totally crap and is totally false information. We don't believe in such prophecies and if you think we'll believe in your words then you're either retard, sorry for usage of some unethical words or you're someone living in the world of your dreams.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could the constant login request or login interface design contribute? on: September 26, 2024, 10:07:43 PM
Or could the constant login request or login interface design, be enough reason for a gambler to choose another platform or to have only a limit of a particular money, nothing more or less in ones account ?
Yes, it's a valid reason to join another platform because if someone isn't comfortable with the interface of a site then that person can never be satisfied even after winning some bets.

User interface and login interface are also important aspects of a site or in particular of a casino and if those are full of lag and bugs, and want a user to re-login again and again then that user often chooses another platform where those two are in better state.

How long were you interested in Bitcoin before joining the forum?
I'm not sure about others but my story is a little bit different. I learnt about Bitcoin from this forum, I made a good search about selling digital goods and found this forum where someone was selling a digital good and I thought I might do the same to earn some money. But, after reading posts on this forum I learnt so much about the forum and about the Bitcoin. So In simple words I learnt first about this forum and then about Bitcoin.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: September 26, 2024, 08:52:56 PM
If you really want to get success as a streamer then I suggest you to be honest with the audience who follow you. These days most streamers are looking to make money for themselves and for that they misguide their viewers and give them false hopes that can't be in real. It's much better to be honest with your viewers and that will help you for long term.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in a nutshell on: September 26, 2024, 08:49:28 PM
In simple terms: you buy ten apples for 5$ , hoping to sell for 10$ , if you eventually sell them for 10$ you make a profit of 5$ . But if you sell below 5$ you lose .
Trading can be easily understood as simply as this .
Really? If it was so easy to do something like that then everyone should do trading instead of doing anything else. In crypto trading most traders don't make any money at all and some make very less amount in profits.

It's not an easy task to convert $5 into $10 or $1000 into $2000. Those who can do something like that are the ones who have learnt trading very well and are experienced traders.

The greedy fellows who watch some videos of YouTube traders and tell others that how easy it's to make money in trading, while in reality it's not easy to make money in trading unless you aren't a top level trader.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not expensive on: September 26, 2024, 06:31:41 PM
Theoretically, given bitcoin's limited supply, it could be considered a good store of value as well as a hedge against inflation. But given its volatility, I don't think bitcoin is as good a hedge against inflation as we would hope.
Well, in current date and time Bitcoin is considered a very volatile asset but in future when its marketcap grows to very high values then at those times it won't be so much volatile and at that time it would be one of the best or the only best asset with deflationary nature. Even at current date and time it's still a much better hedge against inflation because of its limited supply and high demand and similar due to the ones who are Hodling it for long term.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a way out of Nigeria Harsh economic Situation on: September 26, 2024, 06:28:06 PM
[That is where the gambling becomes irresponsible when the gamblers are treating this place to make money feeding their family .
we cab enjoy playing but that is only when we are losing enough amount for losing and not the amount for the table  for foods .
Yes, that's pretty irresponsible type of gambling and also it's quite misleading and making fool of oneself. I know that some people who are lucky can make some good wins as gamblers but even those people lose money in gambling and that's why I would say once again that gambling can't be a good source of income, however it can give some amount time after time but at the same time it can take some money as well. I guess the best way to gamble is to gamble for fun and at the same time if someone wins some bets then that's a sign of good luck.
76  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shuffle account situation plus apology on: September 26, 2024, 06:24:20 PM
Creating multiple accounts is of course a common practice, including in Gambling. And it is obvious that in many cases this violates the rules of using the casino. And I think that of course it would be right not to engage in such creation of multiple accounts, and even more so entire farms with different email addresses, for example, controlled by one person.
You're right, creating of multiple accounts is a common practice for some people and they try their best to use each and every available technique to hide from the platforms that they have multiple accounts. Even at Bitcointalk, some spammers have multiple accounts and they spend countless hours to promote spam from those accounts from time to time.

It's a corrupt type of practice to have so many accounts on a platform and only those who are corrupt people indulge in such type of multi account creation in order to abuse a platform. Account farmers used to create so many accounts on Bitcointalk back in the day when merit system wasn't introduced and similar type of accounts farmers or bonus harvesters make multiple accounts on casinos to avail bonuses multiple times. When a casino finds those people then they either came with many excuses or admit their wrongdoing.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Well done KYC. on: September 26, 2024, 06:18:05 PM
Most people don't like KYC but we see it on this case, as a special one that the investigation and the casino that have implemented their rules helped in finding the criminal.
Well, that's very true, the ones who prefer privacy are strictly against KYC and such measures and to be honest I'm also someone who tries to avoid KYC as much as possible but when it becomes a mandatory requirement for platforms that I use then I don't hesitate to complete my KYC, and get KYC verified on those platforms. In this case KYC because the tool to catch that criminal and I'm pretty sure that it can be a good tool to catch such criminals.
78  Economy / Services / Re: apogio's signature space for rent on: September 25, 2024, 11:59:15 PM
Apogio is a very nice member of the forum with very informative posts. I had read some of his posts in past and those were truly awesome and helpful. I guess someone like him would be very helpful for promoting a platform and on his profile a platform can get good exposure due to his informative posts. I hope Apogio will get a good offer for his signature space. Best of luck for my side.
79  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shuffle account situation plus apology on: September 25, 2024, 11:55:30 PM
The casino made what I assume is a promise to op that if he could own up and agree on cheating or trying to cheat the casino by operating two accounts, and also writing an apology note on a public forum like this one, that they will allow him withdraw his initial deposit and maybe winnings from slot games.
I guess in that case the casino should at least allow OP to withdraw his/her initial deposit if not the winnings. OP has broken the terms of the casinos and it will be good fate of the casino to allow withdrawal of the initial deposit. I believe most people on this forum who might operate multiple accounts on online casinos should better read the terms and conditions first and avoid creating multiple accounts.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not expensive on: September 25, 2024, 11:47:22 PM
I agree with you that BTC is attractive because of its decentralized nature, protecting it from government surveillance and inflation. Moreover, history has shown that its price increase has great potential, supported by the ever-evolving blockchain technology. Therefore, BTC clearly has long-term value as the most profitable investment.
Bitcoin's decentralized nature is of course its most exciting feature that most of us love and that's the reason why most of us use Bitcoin, but these days people most likely consider Bitcoin as an asset that has potential of growth and that can be a good store of value as well as a tool to fight inflation. It's limited in supply and that makes it deflationary.

It's true that some people still use Bitcoin because of its decentralized nature but the investors don't really look for that feature but for its deflationary features. They want to increase their investment value overtime and that's why they buy Bitcoin and HODL it for long term so they can earn great ROI.
