61  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Site that Exposes Scams on: September 30, 2018, 03:32:50 AM
"The big ones like Benebit"? Its not even not that big. If you want to expose the biggest scams, they are listed in the top 200 in Coinmarketcap.

With that said, how can we know that your site isnt open to bribes from other scams that are competing against other scams?

Expose one big scam first to earn trust.

65  Economy / Gambling / Re: Choose the next game to develop from Rolleth team on: September 27, 2018, 04:35:52 AM
Hi, are you the same group of developers behind rollburst.com? Anyhow, I am just eager to know because developers of the rollburst website must have given up on Burst.
66  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: You can now safely buy and sell any item for bitcoin in a p2p marketplace on: September 27, 2018, 04:17:37 AM
Is the marketplace really peer to peer? I think its a centralised website, a slow one at that, where the seller has to sign up and post items for sale.

I also regret clicking the link. The rest of you should be careful. No offense to you seOG.
67  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you own a shitcoin? lol Find out. on: September 27, 2018, 04:01:44 AM
CryptyMike, nice to see you here again. I thought the site was just going to die lol. But its good to know that you are adding more into it. I hope you have the all clicks and views you need to maintain it. Good luck.

I hope your shittiness algorithm will be nice to Burst lol. Tongue

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS community what is this? Is there a partnership with Burst? on: September 26, 2018, 03:51:51 AM
Theres none announced. If theres one I should know it by now because I am always monitoring /burstcoin and the other forums. But that image slipped my radar lol. I saw it on coinmarketcap.com, under the Burst's social media page.

Is there anyone from EOS who can tell who the speaker is?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst weekly report! The future is bright! Proof of Capacity is here. on: September 24, 2018, 04:24:19 AM
Burst's development and improvements are as usual going forward. Rico666 and the PoCC are right to hold development first over marketing. But it doesnt mean that the Burst community should just sit and wait. We should show our support and spread the message.

Weekly Burst Report #53

  • The PoC Consortium released the new version the core wallet: BRS 2.2.3 “Victor”. This release fixes UPnP and rare race conditions in UT handling, adds forgotten /lib directory for ARMv7 hosts, and implements DeepQR codes (CIP14) for a better Point-of-Sale/mobile payment infrastructure.

Thanks to the UPnP fixes, the number of public nodes has already started to go up again, growing more than 31% this week alone.

Download the new wallet on GitHub. Qbundle one-click upgrade is available for Windows users.

  • The miner software Scavenger is going well towards a 1.4.0 release. According to PoC Consortium developer JohnnyFFM, “we just have to fix some console messages and then it‘s ready to release.” See the list of commits for more information on the upcoming release.

  • Daniel Jones (@nixops) made an experiment that made some noise within the crypto community. He processed a Burst transaction via amateur radio, from a node that did not require any power. This device does not need require an electricity provider, nor an internet provider to be able to send Burst transactions. I highly recommend reading this highly informative article by Daniel himself – it explains the concept of Proof of Life and the process behind the radio transaction very well.

  • The story got covered on many news websites: CoinTelegraph, CCN, TheNextWeb, The Cryptograph, and more.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first BURST tx using RADIO was done. This is BIG NEWS on: September 24, 2018, 03:48:30 AM
I am proud to say that the news of nixops' portable, off the grid, radio transmitting, Burst mining node proof of concept hardware is making the news.

This Off-Grid, Solar-Powered System Sends Crypto Through Radio Waves

This is what real contributions from real champions of projects are made of.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / EOS community what is this? Is there a partnership with Burst? on: September 24, 2018, 03:39:29 AM

Was that shot taken from one of your conferences? Is there a partnership made between the EOS developers and the Proof of Capacity Consortium?

I also want to know whos talking on stage. Ty.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: September 23, 2018, 02:58:33 AM
Burst community member, CurbShifter, has released BurstCoupon!

It will be something like a token used to claim Bursts but with a deadline with potential applications in airdrops, automated faucets and rewards for challenges and others.

They are all very useful to get your first Bursts to activate your wallet.

burst coupons seem intersting. So it's like a raffle for you to be able to go buy a limited edition product

It's nothing more than escrow which is already built into the wallet but instead of a signer it uses a password, so once again something completely useless.

Its not completely useless. Its use case for coupons is a clever idea. Whats wrong with you?

You had your chance to develop Burst into something good and useful for the community but you missed that moment. Why cant you accept that Burst has moved on?

LOL, I never developped Burst nor did I ever claim to do so. Again, get your facts straight. This piece of caca(pocc) coin has gone back to where it was in 2014, and you are a blinded, brainwashed sheep if you don't see that. At least dawallet was making improvements back then...

Then what were you doing for Burst if you werent developing anything? Pump and dumping assets?

Dawallet did "okay", but it wasnt enough. This version of the wallet under the PoCC is in better shape. Its more stable and it responds better. Version 1.2.9 was very very slow.

Since you are the wise ass here, you should know very well the extent of things I had done for Burst. As to your insinuations, I couldn't give a fuck what you think.

Secondly, no way in hell is the new wallet faster, it takes forever to sync...

But what did you do? The Burst community did not grow. Its market value never increased except when there were traders who pumped and dumped the coin. Development was dead until the PoCC arrived.

Why are you angry if they want to develop the coin? Do you own it? Do you have your own developers working on it? I dont think you do.

I'm not angry, made a few shekels with it. All I'm stating is the truth, that this is the eiptomy of shitcoins.

Yes thats true, Burst was a shitcoin. But why was it a shitcoin? What did you do for it? Yeah, you made your shekels and left it broken. You have no right to say you did something for the project. All you did was make your shekels.

Wow you are a complete idiot if you cannot even recognize all the efforts that had been done for Burst. Good day, don't bother replying cause I won't even read it.

Okay dont bother reading this but the general community must read it. Your efforts were not for the whole development and improvement of Burst. Your efforts were to make yourselves become rich and leave it. The greatest abuse is calling it a shitcoin after "making your shekels". But you treated it like a shitcoin, why not call it one too, right?

Good day to you.

74  Economy / Economics / Re: The basis of being a poor- how little or how big? on: September 21, 2018, 05:00:42 AM
A human need of survival extends to the growth of a family, of the certainty in achieving a prosperous life. Yet what's really the basis of being a poor? Talking about the significance of money comes along with how much a family earned daily, weekly, monthly or even a year. Constant with the changing society is the changes in the field of market factors such that increased in demand grows above rate.

Weighing on how little... is how little do we earned, how little we are as a whole, and how little the world could turn upside down in just a second. Economically, for someone to be called a poor isn't based upon the money itself, but the reality that a person experiences every day such that even how big you are if you're still trying to come forward just a little step is a lot difficult compared to the others is basically the poor one.

You want the reality of why there are some people who are poor even if he or she studies hard or works hard? Its in their family line. There are family lines that will remain poor forever because they were borne out of poverty and it will be passed down from generation to generation. But there are some lucky people who become wealthy, but thats just a relief. They will become poor again after 3 or maybe 4 generations.
75  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Zaif cryptocurrency exchange loses $60 million in recent hack on: September 21, 2018, 04:38:26 AM
What should the Japanese government do now? Should they start banning some exchanges if it doesnt pass an imposed government security review? Should they control any cryptocurrency exchange directly like the Japanese stock market?

76  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ColdLar — Professional Digital Assets Security and Storage Solution on: September 21, 2018, 04:11:43 AM
I'm still not convnced in Coldlar's security especially after John McAfee's "unhackable" Bitfi wallet was hacked by a 15 year old lol.

Bitfi may only have been a repurposed Android smart phone with a cold storage wallet installed.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: September 21, 2018, 04:01:50 AM
It will reach a decent price if the community grows to hold Burst or use it. But its hard to use it for something if theres no development behind it. But lucky for the community, Burst's spokesperson nixops has made a partnership with a company to use the Burst blockchain. But theres an NDA and at the moment nothing can be announced yet.

Having that said, it was promised to be something good.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first BURST tx using RADIO was done. This is BIG NEWS on: September 20, 2018, 03:39:39 AM
In fact, the news is wonderful but probably too narrow circle of news with regards to BURST.

This is only a proof of concept. But shows what can be done in cryptocurrencies that have low energy requirements like Burst.

cryptohunter, PoS may be okay, but it has its own problems. I think Proof of Capacity is a perfect compromise for miners looking for alternatives of PoW.
