Burst's development and improvements are as usual going forward. Rico666 and the PoCC are right to hold development first over marketing. But it doesnt mean that the Burst community should just sit and wait. We should show our support and spread the message. This release fixes UPnP and rare race conditions in UT handling, adds forgotten /lib directory for ARMv7 hosts, and implements DeepQR codes (CIP14) for a better Point-of-Sale/mobile payment infrastructure.

It will reach a decent price if the community grows to hold Burst or use it. But its hard to use it for something if theres no development behind it. But lucky for the community, Burst's spokesperson nixops has made a partnership with a company to use the Burst blockchain. But theres an NDA and at the moment nothing can be announced yet.
Having that said, it was promised to be something good.

In fact, the news is wonderful but probably too narrow circle of news with regards to BURST.
This is only a proof of concept. But shows what can be done in cryptocurrencies that have low energy requirements like Burst. cryptohunter, PoS may be okay, but it has its own problems. I think Proof of Capacity is a perfect compromise for miners looking for alternatives of PoW. |
