I've had 64bit versions on all of my machines and never had this problem as long as the path in gridcoin.conf was correct.

EDITED: I have checked that they ( the second hashrate in cgminer ) are the same, they are the averaged hashrate.
Hi Joćo, No problem. I'm glad I could help. Andrew.

The resolution does not affect the graphical glitching of the text; it'll go off screen. And the md5 error is persisting : /
If i'm able to get it working on win 7 thin, i could run it on plenty more computers.
Hi, one more think you can try is taking possesion of those folders and making sure they are NOT 'read only'. Also try running Gridcoin as administrator. Hope this helps, Andrew.

Also new site where Gridcoin is listed! Please add it. http://cryptoapi.net/Thanks for keeping this thread up to date. Andrew.

If anyone has a sync issue, it is better to wait it out, don't try to rebuild your chain. Gridcoin will recover after the orphans are purged. Worst case scenario it recovers 20 mins later. Once everyone upgrades, including the cpu miners, sleep should work the same as before scrypt_sleep. Thanks, Rob H. Hi, with this new version scrypt sleep is working fine, I just have one question, after sleep when miners start working the hash rate in mining console never rises again and WU in cgminers also stays at low hash. In cgminer we have two displays of hash power, the first one recovers after sleep but the second one stay at low hash just like WU, I just don't know if I'm mining at the higher hash rate or at low hash rate since the hash rate announced by mining console of wallet is 1/2 of my normal hash rate. And when difficulty is low ( EX: 200K ) I was finding some blocks and now I'm not finding them like before. Sync is better but sometimes when wallet's are out of sync, I have found that they have been out of sync for more than 30 min, I steal need to restart wallet's to get synced again. Thank you, Joćo G. Hi Dreadlord, The first hashrate(on the left) at cgminer shows the current hashrate and the second one(on the right) shows the average hashrate. Also the average is shown in Gridcoin mining module. It is normal to see the average go down since scrypt sleep is enabled, because the average is still calculated even when your GPUs are sleeping. However when they are working the actual hashrate is equal to the one you've been seeing before scrypt-sleep was live. So everything is fine, don't worry about it. Andrew.

Hi all! Things are going well. We'll be in TOP 50 in BOINC very soon! Here's new official Gridcoin twitter! Check it out, follow, enjoy! Traderman is in charge of it. https://twitter.com/GridcoinNetwork@anonerd can you please add it? Andrew.

Hi Rob, just a suggestion...I think you should consider changing the wallet startup screen so it only shows the new logo, not the wallet picture with text that is there now. Most of my miners are syncing just fine now..it seems that people have finally upgraded. Andrew.

New Version Available: [1.1.6.6/83/8.6] - Added a key called 'RestartMinersWaitDelay' for Typhoon in Milliseconds. To use: restartminerswaitdelay=3000 for example will wait 3 seconds between miner launches. - Added Boinc GPU controller, to notify BOINC to use all GPUs when Gridcoin is sleeping, and to disable GPU use when Gridcoin is working (To verify, go to Advanced | Tools | Computing Preferences | Verify checkbox value of "Use GPU While Computer is in Use") - Updated Gridcoin.us total estimated currency units - Added Scrypt Sleep New User Bridge feature to estimate sleep level while user is looking for first block - Modified the Leaderboard to honor Web Pool Mined block boinc information (GRCAddress, Project info, etc) - this allows scrypt sleep to continue to be accurate if the user decides to pool mine 100%
Hi Rob! Awesome job! Thanks for including the auto switching GPUs to BOINC while sleeping. It seems though that it is doing GPU BOINC when status=work and switching off GPUs to BOINC while status=sleep....or is it just my messing up the setup? Setting at BOINC are work according to settings for both CPU and GPUs and I have checked the GPU while computer in use at advanced. I'm sure our credits are going to skyrocket even more now that scrypt-sleep is live! Top 50 coming! Andrew.

If someone could send me a tiny amount of GRC for testing, I'll put this up on Poloniex. Address: G4TmLjd26EkZ9BnWeDWdRGfvCypBrYT5em

Hello gridcoin community, I just invested in gridcoin and also early adopter and investor in Vertcoin and Darkcoin. I have noticed that this coin have been for a Couple of months and for gridcoins potential and qualities is vastly undervalued and I think I know why.
We just need to focus on one task to make the "first scientific achievement", with gridcoin mining network, No matter if is insignificant. I mean as stated bu other blogger before, people don't know what is bionic or how it works(neither myself). I googled for gridcoin in the news section and not a single exclusive article for gridcoin. To be short and not complicate the community. Gridcoin needs at least 10 minutes of glory in crypto to be taken seriosly by real investors, so lets say if we can prove that gridcoin network found a "prime number" or "1 part of a protein fold", "saved carbon footprint calculation", "calculating tides for surfers" or whatever is easier(for the moment) let's be communitive creative and honest for the "first achievement" , you will be on the news and articles for free and therefore probing that you are not wasting time and money for something we might start noticing in a couple of years then the real world can start recognizing and backing up gridcoin, buying coin and increasing value, then we holders can start "real money"( i mean the 1 dollar level)'investing in gridcoin(upgrades, PR, charitable causes etc), like the vertcoin, darkcoin and doge community does, that is the little difference I see why the price of gridcoin is not at least 0.001 btc now. You are doing everything right but we need that jumpstart.
There goes my honest opinion.
Greetings!
Hi, You're right in saying that we need press coverage..it is coming, don't worry. If you look back to last posts by Rob, you'll see that he recently gave an interview and received other interest from investors etc. A lot more will come. If you look here, you can see that we already made it into Top 100 in the world in average credits..which is a great achievement on its own and it is definitely just a start. http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/team/list/16/0/0Also look at the price, it already is over 0.001 Andrew.

On each machine? Darn. I figured that as long as one machine was running the wallet and sending the beacons that the other machines could just be contributing work units that would show up on the BOINC site The other machines do contribute the work and it will show up on the BOINC site, however I don't think you'll get GRC for the work they do on your main PC....I think that the work is limited per host, so you can't use other machines to rack up credits for the first one. However I'm not 100% sure and you should probably ask Rob to confirm. Andrew.

For CPU mining can I just have BOINC running on my other rig without gridcoin since it's just racking up BOINC work units that are reported on the BOINC site?
Hi Inrideo, no, your wallet needs to be running so it will be able to send out the beacons(the small outgoing transactions) that verify your work done for BOINC in order to receive payments. Andrew.

WOW that is a record for sure. I have a feeling as more and more people realize how important distributed computing and Gridcoin really are, we are gonna see huge increases in daily credits. Andrew.
I've been monitoring this chart: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/team/detail/118094994/chartsI've been monitoring the world position and we are very close to being #99 in the world. I'm hoping we can eventually be in the top 50! Grid It's looking really great..and I'm sure, that's just a start. Andrew.
