61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Hydranet (HDN) - World’s First Layer 3 DEX - Connecting BTC to ETH on: February 22, 2024, 06:12:43 PM
I never followed this project but will take some times with it from now and will definitely put some money.  Am really impressed with exchange listing in top tier ones and presence on decentralized exchange. The moderator has also been consistent in the forum and we need to give him some support. I hope we get some engagements outside of here as well
62  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Branches of Economics is there? on: February 22, 2024, 01:25:17 AM
Satoshi's Cryptocurrency is not a from of economics but has a massive influence on economics. However, Decentralization in cryptocurrency has economic view if we study very well. Economics can be addressed on different angle but I think the Keynesian Economics is more of a macro economics and It is also a modern economics. I only do personal finance on Youtube, I dont do anything economics with video
63  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin faces risk of protocol-level censorship as miners under increasing regul on: February 22, 2024, 12:50:50 AM
In short, they are nicely asking for a hard fork, as the current hashrate percentage is not enough for them to make the OFAC list mandatory. However, if the United States puts pressure on all countries of the world, the percentage of unknown mining pools is less than 2%. If all governments were united, passing such regulations would be easy.

The big question remains: If governments do not unite at the climate summit, something that harms humanity, will they unite in creating a blacklist of addresses for Bitcoin?
Perhaps some individuals desire a complete economic overhaul, wishing they could participate from the outset to influence asset distribution like Bitcoin's supply. Given its current value and widespread ownership, however, achieving such control seems unlikely.
64  Other / Meta / Re: Why suddenly Cloudflare Human Verification is Coming Up? on: February 20, 2024, 02:26:50 AM
Did you actually mention wallet signature verification before you login to use the forum? Is theymos trying to implement something new from the backend which is the reason for is happening?
When my account was blocked I contacted the administrator about having trouble accessing it. The administrator mentioned that my request to stay online might have been the reason, but I'm unsure why and whether Theymos was involved in the verification process
65  Other / Meta / Re: Why suddenly Cloudflare Human Verification is Coming Up? on: February 19, 2024, 03:46:18 PM
Am I the only one facing this issue everytime I am trying to access the forum? Or everyone here is seeing the same screen. I am not trying to login as I have opted for Always stay logged in option. So, I am trying to only access the forum and everytime I do it I have to go through this shit. Is it because of DDos attack or @theymos is trying to control the bots that are spamming the forum. I would love to here your problem as for me it is making me irritate with constant verification screen. Infeel as if I need to prove  myself that I am human with this sudden change.
I previously tried the "stay logged in" option, but the additional verification steps involving wallet signature felt lengthy and inconvenient. I opted out since then, but I'm curious if the process has been streamlined or improved to be more user-friendly.

67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 27, 2023, 12:25:15 AM
For those persons who prefer gambling in local bet shops instead of gambling online. I know that most times some persons carry huge sums of money to come to gamble and I understand that if it was a local casino there would be securities. Now, in the local bet shop, why are there no securities? I know a local bet shop close to where I reside. There are no securities there and there are people who act strange and mentally unstable there. They could cause fights, noise, and cheat. So for other persons to feel safe betting there I think securities should be employed there.

In every single country in Europe it is mandatory to have a security or more than one to safeguard your business and clients from harm. Also in some eastern Europe countries I have visited I have seen the same thing, there were quite some security guards running around the big local casinos keeping track of everything going on there and stopping any fight that may arise from drunk gamblers or sore losing gamblers.I personally when I see that a local casino has not at least a security guard guaranteeing safety turn back and do not start playing there.I think many will agree that security is an utmost priority in delicate places like local gambling shops.
If he mentioned the part of the world one can understand the level of security there. In some place where CCTV are in the developed world and center of the city. Any crime is easy to uncover.
68  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism vs AI Posting on: October 25, 2023, 02:47:20 AM
chatGPT is very popular for creating content for youtube and article blogs because it generates free not plagiarized articles and the thing is Google loves AI-generated articles it is based on their algo on how they check unique articles and I heard once Google develop software that can detect AI generated articles I'm sure they will outrank YouTube contents and blogs that mostly use generated articles.
AI content is not crimes like plagiarism. Plagiarism means stealing someone's writing.  But the artificial intelligence of AI creates a content in its own way.  But AI can never create any new words, it collects information from Google or any other source, converts it into its own content with own strategy  and presents it to the customer. However, this forum declared AI posts not acceptable and added rules that no campaign  manager would accept AI posts and anyone using them would be kicked out of the campaign.  But I haven't seen any information that accounts will be banned for AI posts like Plagarism.  So of course AI content is less of a crime than plagiarism for this forum
The forum moderators understand better, I dont support the outright use of AI to generate answers but I believe AI can also be used to make your write beautiful. Go to the academic environment, they will tell you it is allowed when it is used properly
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 09, 2023, 06:55:53 PM
Arsenal are concentrated on extending the contracts of their most important players currently. After the transfer window has been closed they are focused on securing the future of their players now. They are doing the right thing by acting already now. Because these players are attracting a lot of attention to themselves by their effort.

They have extended with some players like Martinelli already now it is Odegaard's turn. But I wonder whether he has the same thought with his team. His market value has reached 90 million euros after his brilliant effort here. His current contract ends in 2025. Arsenal had better give what he wants to keep a great talent like him for a long time.
Extending player contracts not only retains top talent but also increases their market value. Players also embrace this trend, anticipating better compensation. Allowing players to run out their contracts and releasing them is becoming less common for key players, as clubs find it less profitable
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: September 09, 2023, 05:05:00 PM

If every online gambling would mandatory have age limit like 18+ where they would be needing ID plus the face check if it's legit maybe it would decrease the numbers of minors gambling. There's a lot of negative effects of gambling to kids not only to money but to their behavior and mindset as well, cause most kids have the feeling of competitive and would eventually want to recover their losses and led to addiction.
Similar to how some countries have restrictions on alcohol for people under 24 due to addiction concerns, I would also suggest setting a 24-year age limit for gambling. However, it's important to consider that this might impact the economy, as the size of the gambling market can be significant for some countries.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VOLARE, The First Commercial Blockchain Network from EQBR Technology on: September 08, 2023, 08:33:46 PM
any news from volare sir, I think it's already entered q3 and maybe it's time for volare conversion

The VOLR team has announced that the mVOLR to VOLR Conversion will be on September 6th. That means tomorrow Smiley
Hopefully, the Volare chain will be available on the Exchange soon

https://twitter.com/volare_official/status/1698668481863152011
The project is set to initiate its Initial Exchange Offering on October, featuring on two additional exchanges, BitMart and Probit. They have generously permitted investments of nearly $500, but given their recent lack of activity on social media, I believe they may need to raise more awareness.
72  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: STRIKE: Stock home with food, medicines NLC tells Nigerians. on: September 08, 2023, 03:26:42 PM
We are currently experiencing a challenging period of governance in which our leaders seem indifferent to the cries and aspirations of the citizens. They even ridicule the grievances of the less fortunate. The security forces stand by the political leaders who oppress us, wearing worn-out uniforms, and yet retire to homes among the very people they have been used to oppress. People now believe they can commit any wrongdoing without consequences. The concept of opposition parties has faded away, as individuals have abandoned their principles for financial gain. Even respected figures like university professors, religious leaders, and the elderly seem to care more about their impending mortality than the affairs of society. Protests have become prohibited, and the labor unions, once a voice for the workers, are now primarily concerned with lining their own pockets.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: newbie with newbie questions on: September 07, 2023, 04:53:26 PM
I'm not a trader, but I have a little knowledge about trading.

1. You can use Binance or Kraken where this both exchanges have a good reputation, low trading fee and low withdrawal fee. P2P or DEX aren't good due to lack of liquidity and lack of pairs, after all a trader must accept to lose his identity.

2. There's no legit signal channel, so you must understand about it. It depend on each trader, someone might say scalping is better, the other one say futures is better than spot trading etc.
I'm highly intrigued by Kraken's trading platform, primarily due to its robust regulatory compliance and accessibility to most residents of the United States. This is particularly appealing to fellow forum members who, like me, have limited experience with the exchange. Nonetheless, it's worth noting that Kraken offers a smaller selection of cryptocurrencies and maintains stringent security measures.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: September 07, 2023, 12:53:12 PM
These are subjects that should be addressed early on, preferably before entering a bullish market, and prudent investors should consider. Cryptocurrency is characterized by its high volatility and significant risk, even for experienced individuals, unless they exercise caution and diversify their gains. Real estate, while not without its challenges, represents a worthwhile avenue for diversification. Additionally, other investment options include the stock market, commodities, collectibles, and more.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 06, 2023, 02:29:37 PM
Controlling addiction becomes increasingly challenging as we age, which is why age limits are often imposed on habits with the potential for harmful addiction. While some strategies can help manage these habits before they become addictions, it often requires prolonged periods of abstinence, and any relapse can reignite the problem
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: September 06, 2023, 10:08:25 AM
The current procedure is to initiate a thread and subsequently remain inactive. This practice is precisely why the forum is stringent about combatting spam and maintaining its integrity. Threads are intended for engagement, and when your inquiries have been adequately addressed or the topic has sparked substantial discussion, it's appropriate to close the thread. However, this rule may not be applicable to all topics
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: September 04, 2023, 08:24:46 PM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

Stake casino mostly mines

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day

You're not making $100 per day on a consistent basis at any casino on unskilled games where the house controls all the odds and mathematics behind the games. They exist to make money and most are rudimentary, where they might just focus on games and not even offer anything like sports betting or poker. If you have to ask the question, then it's most likely that you won't have the ability to even work your way towards profitability without a very long learning curve, that will be expensive to complete. There are a lot of clever people out there who have developed certain strategies which may end up with profitability, but it often takes immense intelligence or a lot of practice - learning what works and what doesn't, which nobody is going to give up an answer to easily.
I believe achieving daily profit through betting is unlikely and challenging to maintain consistently. This appears to be a fabricated post, likely designed to mislead newcomers.
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: September 03, 2023, 08:50:02 PM
I find it difficult to grasp the concerns surrounding Bitcoin's risk compared to other assets. If you have a deep understanding of its four-year cycle and can effectively navigate both bear and bull markets to maximize profits, you can effectively manage the associated risks. No other asset class offers such a well-defined and predictable cycle to plan for and mitigate risks.
79  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 02, 2023, 10:34:46 PM
Using more concise language: "Stake.com cannot accept a phishing email as an excuse for faults. Consider improving your cybersecurity practices, especially in handling phishing attempts. Additionally, it's advisable to keep your gambling site focused solely on gambling funds."
80  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 02, 2023, 03:16:09 PM
Many factors support the decision to switch campaigns, a practice previously avoided due to the loss of rewards. Nowadays, few campaigns are considered credible, so any offering both credibility and better rewards are eagerly embraced.
