Just connect the 8pin cables that are available in any order. It'll work.

Not seeing the motherboard image is likely because you have the monitor connected to whatever isn't set as default primary in bios.

I think they just are not even trying... yet. They fixed it in the past so I'm sure they will again, it's just a matter of time.
That's the problem though. It's really a matter of unpacking a zip file and - worst case scenario - deleting the old block chain they have. The haven't been able to do it for two and a half weeks since the latest windows version was released. They just keep saying that it's "suspended to mention" or other bullshit non-comprehensive wording. I'm sure the wallet will get back up eventually, but it'll probably take a couple more months before they try unpacking that zip file.

And poof goes the profitability from btc38 as well. I'm sorry, but they seem extremely incompetent. Shouldn't be this hard to get a wallet running.

My wallet has been running flawlessly for long now. Any of you ever had a crash, after upgrading to the newest wallet? I'm still wondering if there is some work left to do in that regard.
It's been working absolutely fine for me since I upgraded to the latest version. Having two QT wallets and six cryptonited and they've never crashed since the update. Previously the wallet had been crashing every now and then on different rigs, but not now, not a single crash. Very good work done and the bounties were well earned.

Looks like btc38 is down for english speaking people (at least).
That's because their Facebook authentication is down and doesn't necessarily mean they're upgrading anything. Since you have a contact there, you should let them know that it's down because they might not know.

You will probably see colors if you use the powershell to start the miner.
It worked when using powershell, so thank you! I still would prefer it to just work - like all other miners, but at least it's better than nothing.

SP_ has said at previous post that nist5 mod has problem as well as blake256, he is working on it.
I'm not interested in nist5 or blake256. What you said is irrelevant to my post.

any ETA on cryptonite fix? still not working on the latest driver
I have tried. After I fixed the hash, the speed was reduced. So I need some more time. use 382.xx driver. I've got the same problem in the nist5 mod. the 382.xx driver give 15-20% more speed on the 1080ti. Not only does the miner not work with newer than 382.xx drivers, it also has no color coding. It looks like this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FoOYf4SO.png&t=663&c=XCXriXboZ6Dy7A) I've PM'd sp_ regarding this. He said that adding the "-q" argument would add color. It does not, all that "-q" does is freeze the miner. sp_ haven't responded to my messages regarding that since. A reply to issues with your current miner (small or not) would be expected since I paid for it. Yet, no reply had been given for weeks. It's quite easy as well for sp_. I would've done it myself but I don't have his source (for obvious reasons). Just recompile it so that the color coding works.

The thing about POS for "regular people" that doesn't have millions of dollars to invest, is that it's bad.
I'll take myself as an example. I invested about €40,000 in mining hardware. It will mine some profit for me, and will, eventually, get me some money back from selling the GPU's, even it's it's a small sum.
POS, on the other hand, means I'll invest €40,000 into a coin, and a week (month or year) later, it's worth half. That means I've lost half of my money. Well, close to half, since it would have "mined" some itself. Example still stands.
Just like trading, it's a risk and reward, but POW is a lot less riskier. Of course, if I'm lucky, the €40,000 I could have invested into trading could double. But it could also be worth close to nothing. With the mining hardware, I can always make a profit, even if it's lower that I'd want it to be. Still always a profit. And, worse case scenario, I could sell the hardware and still make a profit since it actually mined whichever coin I wanted it to mine.

By attitudes such as these is that many end up hanging from a tree, which appalling . LOL...
I don't know what you're trying to say. It doesn't matter though, because it's off topic. My reply was purely on-topic and relevant to btc38 and their service.

Because you are so pessimistic, if the last time they answered that they knew of the update and that soon they would make tests, to be able to implement it
Well, I'd rather be happily surprised than disappointed. Though the fact remains that every single coin now has both a deposit and withdraw link. Even the coins that aren't available for trading (like SRC for example). That doesn't mean that they're fixing the XCN wallet - it means that there's something wrong on their balance page. They also haven't synced the block chain for XCN, since I'm still missing the 20k coins I accidentally sent to the wallet when it went down over a month ago.

|
|
The deposit withdraw buttons are back.. but when I click on deposit it still loading non stop
Don't get your hopes up. It's most likely an error since all coins now have deposit and withdraw buttons back. Even coins that is not tradable at all like SRC.

The most I'm waiting is the re-open of btc38 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Agreed, we're all waiting for btc38. However, it'll probably take another month or two (or more) for them to fix their wallet. Doesn't seem like it's on their priority list and they seem about as able to unpack a zip file as they are speaking English (hint: not able at all).

Where I can download fixed binar file of the wallet for win ? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) First post.

It's me, or the difficulty just dropped a lot ? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Most people aren't comfortable with mining without getting paid for over a month. What do you mean by : not paid for over a month ? That they can't sell at so small price like bter ? Anyway, great news for us, miners, this difficulty drop ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yes. Since it's more profitable to mine something else than sell on bter, a lot of miners have moved on. At least until btc38 fixes their wallet.
