61  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 24, 2022, 10:01:19 PM
If we should take a look at the current price of Bitcoin in the market, with records from CMC, we will find out that the price in 24 hours time frame reaching the lows of $32.9k has turned round to $36k+ and still pushing, which is showing some good price swing from the downtrend to an uptrend with strong movements. This could be a very good sign for something good coming into the market. Though, it's just too early. Using the 1 hour time frame, you'll see how far the price has drastically moved on the reverse. I guess this could be the tag we have been looking for. Anything is still possible, but the positive response from the market is what we all wait.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 23, 2022, 04:56:31 PM
Now that we are in 2022 is 100k per BTC still possible? It seems no one is talking about this price anymore and now BTC is fighting at the 40k range, what do you think could still happen?

Well, for me I will say the year is still fresh and this price range or correction Bitcoin is currently experiencing started from last year. Talking about the price of Bitcoin is not going to change what the market or the future of the market has in store. The price of Bitcoin will face an uptrend if reverse occurre from this correction, otherwise the market could be facing bloodbath and that will affect the entire market.

Also it seems like altcoins have no high chances again unless BTC do the impossible

The price of altcoins is always affected by bitcoin, either on an upward or downward price movement, this has been so over the years. I am well sure that new AHT for Bitcoin is still available for the year.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 22, 2022, 09:50:57 PM
The good and bad market is what makes the system fun, where in every deep, we experience more buyers filling up some fractions, while new investors takes their place in the system. Then, in the bull run, profits are made. As at now, the price of Bitcoin has gone to the lows of $35k, if this should continue below $34k - $33k then we might be seeing the market continuing on the downtrend for a while, if reverse becomes the case, new ATHs is to be experienced in the market.

Truly we can't give a clear prediction of the future market, but one thing is for sure when the market goes DOWN, the only WAY next is UP and that has been the nature of the Bitcoin.
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best to use now? on: January 22, 2022, 09:33:36 PM
The basics apply to any OS: don't keep a lot of funds in hot wallets, don't install weird software, install as few apps as possible, or even better: use a dedicated system for your wallet.

I think using a dedicated system (either a phone or laptop) is more preferred and safer. Though, someone talked about using Ubuntu operating system or other Android OS. It is good to use new technology, but one will have to take time to learn how to use. The time I first ran Ubuntu on my system, it was fun, but I was more like a novice learning computer afresh, and I can't go into the market with that so I don't get myself messed up.
I make use of phone more often than laptop/desktop (which is once in a while), that is why I am more curious about the mobile version of everything we are talking about.

To all newbies, being careful with your methods of posting and watching properly before making posts or creating your own threads in this forum will help you alot as a newbie, otherwise, you'll just cause a serious effect on your account in the easiest way. It's okay to be free and open when making a post, but you sure want to be careful to avoid failing any rules of the forum. Over the years, the rules of the forum changed, and you need to change along with it.

Finally I also found my way here.

Been in the crypto world a while now but I am a lazy reader and writer, hope this will change being a member here.

You'll have to work on it, as it is part of the requirements as a crypto enthusiast and also, as one found in this forum.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 21, 2022, 09:51:25 PM
When there is a wrong financial management or wrong investment strategy, then the fear of staying long in the market when it is going sideways becomes a trouble to them. Because of this reason, and maybe some other reasons closely related to the finance of their everyday life, they jump out early to avoid going down deep, forgetting the patter that the crypto market has been using over the years. The market has been in this range level for some period of time now, and when things like this happens, something new is really wanting to take place in the closest of time.
The fear of lossing everything now is actually the fact of remaining stagnant when the train moves. I am not yet a big time investor, but I understand the market a bit more better than some years back, this is the right time to play by the rule buy low, sell high and be happy with the actions taken.

I came across this post How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V in the forum, Which brought a question to my heart, is it better to use the website to download any wallet or exchange application for Android (as it is a normal thing to use for desktop/laptops) or use the Google play store which is now said to have some applications that hijacks clipboard and changes the address to the hijacker's address and when the transaction has been executed, nothing can be done to cancel the transaction (which is normal)?
First Cryptocurrency Clipboard Hijacker Found on Google Play Store
A cloned MetaMask away from the original is now a victim from the Google play store.
It is said that

The first attack method the app used was to attempt to steal the private keys and seeds of an Ethereum wallet when a user adds it to the app. When BleepingComputer analyzed the app's APK file, we found that the app contains information that can be used to send this stolen data to a Telegram account.

How can we ignore these kind of hijacking/malware application as it is now a threat to those who mostly uses Android phones?
68  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V on: January 20, 2022, 04:48:57 PM
This is totally an eye opener to me, I must confess I have not come across or experience anything of this nature, but right now with this post I am completely informed. Thanks OP.
Huh But I would want to know another thing about this copy/paste.
How come the address shows or have the same first few characters and last few characters, is it that they run some codes that automatically figured out the kind of address that has been copied into the clipboard or it randomly creates it's own address that has the same first and last characters?
Please, I will sincerely need answers. Thanks.
69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No free money or crytocurrency on: January 19, 2022, 09:12:31 PM
From a real view, there is money online and that is a fact, but it is determined by dedication. This dedication could be by time, money, knowledge or all put together as said by OP. When there was really free money in the crypto world was at the early times of 2011 thereabout, cause there where lots of good faucets that did really pay, all because their payings where small in price but they where successful project (coins) that are currently in the crypto community. But now, time, money, knowledge and dedication are needed to succeed in the finance available on the internet.

What and what to avoid in this crypto world so as not to fucked myself up in every way possible? I need some advice as a beginner and I don't want to mess up pls guide me right, hope I came to the right place

You are very well welcome to this forum, the number one forum where you can get the best support and help in the entire crypto community.
It is almost hard to say you won't get hit by some bad project even as a bounty Hunter. Which part of the crypto community do you wish to venture into, cause there are a lot of ways of earning from crypto currencies and also in this forum.
You can render some service of which you are a professional. Things like;
> Bounty Campaigns
> Campaign Manager
> Writers/Translators

You can also venture into the Trading part of crypto currency, but you must take your time to understand the pattern at which it goes, or you can be a long time investor, who just hold his Bitcoin for every price rise (things can always go side ways, it's how the system works)
Amongst all, always take your time to read and make your own personal research when you are investing into any project, and always invest what you can afford to lose (though, with patients, you can always get your investment back).
71  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 17, 2022, 08:57:16 PM
Technical analysis for me is more of effect in the forex trading as some forms of regulation do have its effect in the system and market, where by with some push of buttons and speech made publicly can twist the market heavily. This is also possible in the crypto world, but not really coming from some set of bodies. Bitcoin from the deep that was seriously experienced at 2017-2018 ATH and ATL made everyone to have the full perspective of Bitcoin as an assets that goes on both ways, just with time put in consideration, with a heart ready to hold all time long. The price of Bitcoin for a while now has been on the price mark of $42k and still moving within that range. Until it changes, either downwards, the deep continues and we buy or upwards, while we hold that which we have.
Bitcoin has a bright future and that is not arguable, cause it is known and yet to be well known as time goes on. If more investors join the community this year, then we should be expecting better highs and a new markto be made.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2022 bear market? on: January 17, 2022, 07:05:03 PM
If we look at the recent result of the bear market Bitcoin has experiencend and faced, we will see that, this could be a range where the market would be in a range for some period of time. The bear market if looked closely, got to it's first ATH and then price retracement took place, making room for the next bull run. When the second bull run started, it's was on a hot run. I will say, the market is currently on retracement or range mode, which might stay for a while, except it breakers it's support levels at $40k - $38k or breaks it's resistance of around $45k mark.
No matter how the bear market goes, I don't really think Bitcoin will get to the lows of $20k. Using previous views, the price of Bitcoin does not touch it's lowest lows, rather makes a new low, and then target new highs.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 16, 2022, 03:36:44 PM
Bitcoin is still within the range of $43 thousand, it could be stagnant, (I'd have liked it if it could come a little more lower, so I can fill some) Hopefully, we will see good news from the market, but we cannot tell when it will happen. Observations, we expecting something high from the market, we should also be aware that the down trend is also possible to take place at anytime. If we will see more investors coming into the community like last year, then, we should be expecting the higher price markes. This can be a chance to have some bitcoins filled in the little fractions we can, the price could go lower, but the price will always increase, as it is the nature of Bitcoin.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: January 16, 2022, 03:14:42 PM
To some extent, any movie now being placed will either be against the use of Bitcoin or will improve the popularity of the coin. Now, most countries has found it to be illegal, and some people will see it to be a form of new technology which they have not heard about personally (not governmental). This could be against the entire crypto currency community, as the government is looking for everyway to make it sure that the use of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies should be an end, cause something vital will be disclosed in the movie, which will not be in the favor of most of these governments that are fighting against crypto.
Well, if there be a movie I think it should be in either a comedy, documentary or sci-fi movie having it's reality in the real world. Though, noting every information that will be disclosed from the movie is very important, cause it could be against the community later on.
75  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Passcode Length on: January 15, 2022, 09:23:29 AM

I bought Bitcoin in late 2010 or early 2011, I don't remember the exact date. Since this was 10 years ago I do not remember what wallet. I do remember that the icon that was on my computer looked very similar to the Bitcoin symbol (the B that looks like a dollar sign, $). I no longer have the device that the wallet was on and I think I must have recycled the information that I had written down on paper.

Since I only have what may or may not be the correct 10 word phrase, I am seriously doubting that I will be able to recover this wallet. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for your response.

So long as you have what may or may not be the correct 10 word phrase, try using it to know if it could be, cause you might be thinking it's not, and might be what you needed to get your wallet back.

Having an offline backup of your recovery phrase/seed or mnemonics is the only way to recover your wallet, and this is very important putting it in writing and safely kept. I had this same experience few days ago, where my device which I have all my passwords/phrase/mnemonics etc to all my accounts and even my bank details were stored was stolen, and this is a very big risky to me, if they know what the device contains. To an extent, if I can be helped on how to track my phone with the use of any software or company, I'll be very grateful. With this experience, I don't waste time to put my passwords and phrases in writing, cause it's very important, and without the phrase, your assets are totally gone for good.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who creates more impact in bitcoin price the Hodlers or Investors? on: January 14, 2022, 06:10:33 PM
I will say that the investors are people who has made some good funds and profits from their business and found out with some reasons that if they invest in Bitcoin and hold, there will be price appreciation and which will make more profits for them. With observation, investors are more interested in business that has more chances of making more profits than losses. For the hodlers, this is mostly by participating in the tasks that pays in Bitcoin, and hold for the long term to see appreciation. Well, the two parties aim for one thing, making of profits is the major aim, and when there is profit, they will both takeout profit, for the investors, to balance up their investment capital, while the hodlers take out profits for extra cash at hand.
77  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin makes a loser a winner on: January 14, 2022, 05:56:37 PM
I have not really seen this particular type of post anywhere, but I have come across this kind of event that happened of this same nature. About the man who used 10,000 BTC to buy just 2 pizza, which marked the Bitcoin pizza day, which is always remembered. These are some hilarious events that happened which the actions are being referred and also remembered over the years and in years to come. This has made lots of the holders of Bitcoin to keep on holding strong to the available bitcoins at hand. This was a way through which made the existence of bitcoin whales to have so much, and still pushing the market to take out profits and fill more bags.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: January 13, 2022, 02:19:39 PM
Tron has a very unique feature and I don't think it will vanish away from the crypto ecosystem. One of the reason most coins are standing strong is it's cost of transactions. For instance, ETH gas fee so far has gone so high in price that moving any coin under the etherium Network is something else. This is a feature why binance is pulling crowd due to the low price of transaction. From is a coin that is used for a transaction which cost very little and this is what we need in the crypto system, with this reason, Tron will stand to survive the long in the crypto market. Maybe, one day a very wealthy investor will come up to support the project, which will cause another form of uproar in the community. Doge is not really going to stand the chance of withholding the battle when Tron makes a positive move in it's price.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first NFT rug pull of 2022 on: January 13, 2022, 10:28:13 AM
The increase in scam projects are becoming something else. The NFTs are actually some good projects that has gained the attention and attraction of most investors. The implementation of new ideas are later turned to be used against it's investors when bad crew comes in with their own campaigns making mechandise of it's investors. The purpose of new projects are to develop the creativity and modifications in the system. If there continue to be scam projects, the strength of meeting market capitalization will become low and that will make most projects half way, as no one knows if the project will survive or not. That is why a safe investment now is on mainly Bitcoin and Etherium, then any other project that is among the first 10 - 15 projects in CMC.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hi, A simple question about blockhain on: January 11, 2022, 08:27:05 PM
Bitcoin being the head of blockchain technology, which is known as the most secured technology in the crypto world, and some other technologies could have some good security features too. But Bitcoin or blockchain technology being uneditable, transparent and  decentralized makes it to be more reliable and secured. It is one or the most oldest technology of crypto currencies that is still surviving and leading the crypto train over the years.
