Not a fan of GLD because the first 200 blocks were worth 10k each, seeing as the difficulty was low, the only way to get those blocks was to have a very high hash rate (like 10 Mh/s). WDC also had this problem, but since it didn't start with ridiculous block rewards I think it is better.

Agreed. I think a coin like worldcoin would have a good chance of stability if it didn't start at such a low difficulty (and therefore give all the early blocks to a few people).

Have been mining for hours and only got one block so far

Finally mined my first block after hours.

Kinda sucks that the first few hours were ruined by assholes running 5+ Mh/s

Gotten about 50 orphans and 300 rejected... none accepted.

It doesn't matter who or how many people got those blocks. It just means there's 2,000,000 extra GLD in circulation that should not be there.

If only GLD didn't have that ridiculous 10k block reward for the first 200 blocks it might be decent =/
