"uncomfortable" ?  I feel the same way too. Been with them since NOV 2012 and their ASICs are not online yet.
Yes, a bit uncorfortable, I don't doubt the pyramining's capabilities to develop or acquire ASICs, I still have more money with them tied for ASICs in other accounts, but this one I want to sell, so I can spend some bitcoin on amagi metals or something.
66  Economy / Auctions / Re: Pyramining 6.24 BTC account on: June 01, 2013, 04:50:57 PM
3.5 BTC
This is only one account, soniq already bid at 3.5 btc.
You can bid in increments of 0.2

Wtf 2000 btc he will never see again. Damn it's good to be a scammer

How do you know? if they get a bunch of asics they can get it back to a couple months. I mean they are still mining with gpas so yeah that will take forever, but if they get asics they be back on track in no time.

Iam still very much disappointed because there are no news and no anything from him..
That's the thing...the OP doesn't come here and tell anything, he said he was in contact with burnin or someone but after that he didn't say a word.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: May 30, 2013, 02:04:55 PM
since when Bitcoin needs legitimacy from a corrupt and rotten system ?

True that. And bitcoin will eventually win the war against greedy narcissistic bankers. Bureaucracy is shit. Don't be afraid of them banksters and regulangsters, it's just like that movie v for Vendetta if we all go against what "they" say, we will win.
72  Local / Portugal / Re: Carrega o telemóvel com Bitcoins! (Vodafone, TMN...) [Bitcoin-Portugal.com] on: May 29, 2013, 09:26:19 PM
Boa, bom projecto! Estava à espera disto mesmo, carregar o telelé com btc. Quanto tempo demora, e como funciona? Ah e só aponto o dedo a uma coisa: a taxa de 6% é alTA.
Props
EDIT: Já vi as 6 a 48 horas lá no site.
73  Local / Portugal / Re: Há aqui muita malta portuguesa? on: May 29, 2013, 09:22:18 PM

Bitsmile you need people to trust you will delete the private key and you have to at least give 50% off

Yes, I know, that's the problem...But I don't want to sell 6.24 btc for 2 or 3 bitcoins, I'm better off leaving it at pyramining and maybe in 20 years I'll check it out and be like OH, an extra x bitcoins  Grin By that time it will be worth 5 kilos of gold (not at the current gold price, gold will also have at least a 500% increase). /turn bull off
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: I was thinking on: May 28, 2013, 10:35:50 PM
Classical Libertarian propaganda.
A lot of people will just stop receiving capital gains, that's all. Toxic companies "on the stock market" which do nothing but to manage capital will be liquidated. Oh and some politicians might loose their jobs...

And people holding bitcoins, gold and silver will get stinking rich.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: I was thinking on: May 28, 2013, 09:56:14 PM

Because governments and central banks all over the world will instead work together to instead devalue money. More slowly than instant, but in a hidden trail.

Pensions and all monetary investments will slowly loose their value through carefully pushed hyperinflation masked by using an indicator and creating a "shopping cart" that will readily mask this.

You will loose savings, true. Everyone will. But the system won't collapse. At worst, they will vaporate some savings and put them into other people's pockets to fix their debt and consolidate. At the moment this system is working better than ever before. It is a gold mine for every bank and investment guy in the world. It is absolute horror for the average saver with pension funds.

China and Russia. When hell freezes over. Have you lived in these countries? No way in hell are chinese going to accept any shared currency that is not perfectly under their control. And Russia accepting Chinese control over their currency? Fuck that.

This is not going to happen.
They aren't devaluing money slowly, nor in a hidden trail, it's out in the open, central banks are creating money and buying bonds at an amazing rate. If they stop, the entire system will collapse. The stock market goes down every time they ease up a little on the QE throttle, so they must continue creating more money. If they don't, it will collapse anyway, there's nowhere to go but create a new system, with gold as the reserve currency. As for China and Russia, I'm just speculating, it's the speculation forum  Grin, we'll see how it develops in the next years.
77  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Discussion thread (no advertising here) on: May 28, 2013, 09:42:47 PM
You get them once over the whole investment period.

Need more explanation  Huh
Say you deposit 1 bitcoin to the deposit address. It allocates hashing power for you (like 10 MH/S) and starts mining. Each day you'll get like 0.0001 BTC After you receive your full invested bitcoin, your allocated hashing power will continue to hash and you will receive a total of 1.1 bitcoins, after 94 or 96 months. It will payout every 0.1 btc. Of course, with 10 MH/s just to get 0.1 btc it will take like for ever. I'm auctioning my account if you're interested. It has 58 MH/s, and 20% bonus, it will payout 6.24 btc total. My auction started at 5, lowered it to 4.7BTC, still no bids.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: I was thinking on: May 28, 2013, 09:27:04 PM

I'd agree it can go in indefinably*, but eventually you get pissed off, and start wondering why your savings are diminishing and your investments are delisting, and you find Bitcoin.
I think this dissolution stage with the banks will take 10 to 15 years and we will see a global reserve currency before anything collapses.

*Earth a finite Planet being the one caveat as the perpetual banking motion machine requires growth.

We are already seeing the developments in this area, China as the new superpower, Russia and China buying gold, GLD going down, but demand for physical going crazy, etcetera. China and Russia will team up and come up with a new reserve currency, backed by gold. It can take just 3 to 5 years to see this.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally Indicators on: May 28, 2013, 06:44:44 PM
I don't think you can compare the two, bitcoin is different.
Waiting for that 9000$ gold eagerly. Also silver  Grin
My only problem with holding a lot of bitcoins is that they're a new thing, not like silver and gold that you really know can only be up uP UP. Nevertheless, my bet is that bitcoin will surpass gold. But not a huge bet, only a 50 btc bet  Grin
80  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is there a Hashing Bubble in the making? on: May 28, 2013, 06:27:34 PM
Can there be such a thing as a mining bubble? Mining should increase exponentially now, remember bitcoin has taken off, to Jupiter in a few years   Cool
