4 x 7950 DD : 600-610khash each = 2400 khash/s
2 x 7850 : 350 khash/s each = 700 khash/s
Realistic khash/s over time = 3mhash/s
Adding 2x 7950s in 7 days, so will be just over 4 mhash/s.

I am going to have to re think my placement of my rig. These cards are LOUD! Not GPU loud, like leaf blower loud.
I gave up on 2x7950 there is one machine with 2x7870 and 1x7950 in two others. The cards overheat and high fan if they are in the same machine. They really do. Whichever card I put in the centre of the mobo hits 85-90 degrees c. If I point two extremely noisy Delta fans at it, I can run it with a slight overclock at 80 degrees, but still... that sucks. Risers are the only way to do it right, it seems. |

Thanks you all for your entries, there is some stellar work here. I am now calling an end to entries and will be looking through all the designs for the one that works best.

Hi again all. I'm not giving up the fight just yet. Based on a lot of positive feedback on my bronze/copper coin design, I've worked around that and finalised (or finalized if you're West of here) my designs. I now have a total of 11 final entries that I am happy with. I have included the silver ones as Bush seemed to like them, but I actually totally agree with those that say Feathercoin should be a copper colour. I know I've already submitted about 20 designs, but it was a progressive thing and in fairness I actually started before the bounty.
I will submit my final 5 designs tomorrow morning as I've done a couple more this evening but I'm out at the moment.
I reckon I have until around 11am GMT to get my final submissions in. Thanks for all the feedback so far and for the couple of donations I've received for my efforts. It's greatly appreciated and really says a lot about this community.
Tomorrow I dedicate 2 more 2,000khash machines to mining this coin, which I believe will be the #3 behind BTC and LTC.

I'm done now. I'm going to bow out after about 25-30 designs, as I am finally happy with the last few I did. I mainly want this so I can say 'I designed that' when I see this coin up all over the place in the future. I have faith The 2000 FC reward is definitely just a huge bonus. I'd have sat here designing all day regardless of the reward. |

In the short and understated history of blocknois.es I've been mostly playing with releasing stuff through coindl.com. Pros are that it's pretty easy to set up items, you can auto-pay artists if they have a BTC address, it's easy for people to buy, supports pay-what-you-want and free downloads, and has things like album items, affiliates, etc. Cons are that it's still a little 'unpolished', plus recently uploads are taking ages to get OKd. Also no LTC support AFAIK. And it'd still be nice to offer a bit more % to the artists blocknois.es is promoting. Starting to have a look at other sites such as coingig.com and bitmit but not had enough time yet. Also would love to look at self-hosting and integrating payments onto our main site. Happy to talk about collaborating through blocknois.es if you're interested, or just to swap notes. Will definitely have a listen to the track once I'm around some decent headphones - scribe Let me know if you want a proper 320kbps version. Soundcloud hammers it down to 128kbps I believe. |
