61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops or "Scam-drops"? on: December 30, 2020, 01:28:36 PM
These are just like hunters in the sea, hunting fishes. They are fishy enough to drag the interest of the cryptocurrency traders and investors and to let them spend some funds buying some sort of a token that we all know its ending. Yes, we should classify that type of project as a scammy initiative, they can't bring liquidity, they just trying to force the investors to invest using weird methods, stay away from them.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: December 30, 2020, 01:13:59 PM
Do you think that a boy or a girl can really take over the place or the status of her father/mother in real life? The same questions are typical, the answer is no. We have a dominance pourcentage out there stating this and you already know that the far the fame of altcoins goes, it will affect directly the Bitcoin fame and will contribute into people awareness, people are into the first powerful protocol, it will be hilarious if one of the coins gets over btc in terms of price but also put in mind that we are trading these altcoins with linked in pairs to btc, my thoughts are that this is never going to happen.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing XRP on: December 30, 2020, 12:58:29 PM
Wow buddy, things are going so fast, didn't really expect these big announcements to take place anytime soon but now things are taking place in a fast way.
I think that Ripple is going to die, their marketcap will get pulled out and invested into Bitcoin, these sick traders will be urging to find an asset to make some profits which really explains why Bitcoin is still making some movements upward in the 27k - 28k levels. I think that we will hit 30k soon, or even BTC will start playing in the 29k range soon.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eth 2.0 is this the end of bitcoin? on: December 30, 2020, 12:42:55 PM
Your thoughts are logical, because you're comparing Ethereum to Bitcoin. That might not help alot, we don't need everything to be identical in the crypto field buddy, it's not a mirror, it's a diversified market. About the Pow and the Pos, you're right, POS will enable the early adopters and the ones hodling bigger bags of Ethereum to stake their holdings and earn more when providing security to the blockchain which is good. It's so hard to make an update to the whole bitcoin core, we need satoshi to be around here, which i think is going to happen soon, my predictions says that satoshi is going to showoff very soon to fix the whole protocol, we hope so.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking on ETH 2.0 on: December 29, 2020, 04:48:43 PM
Launching the Staking feature on ETH 2.0 is just a massive step. It will make the early adopters of Ethereum very happy, imagine that Ethereum raises from 700 to 2000$ per coin? That's going to make them earn alot. It's only convenient to the whales i think more than the usual Ethereum miners, the POS staking will enable them to stake their coins and grab some profits just for hodling them.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: December 29, 2020, 03:59:05 PM
Escrowed should be Compulsory for all bounty program before launched and that'll be the proper way to treat with bounty hunters. Otherwise bounty should be avoided because join bounty without Escrowed is like waste of time nowadays.i notice, good project always make excuse and delay & get disappeared suddenly.so escrowed is the only solution for solve this cheating problem by team
Your suggestion is very impressive, and it's high time some necessary step should be taken. Nowadays it's become common issue to make excuse and delay the payments towards participants. Things repeat again and again but problem is we're so desperate and impatience to join which should be changed.
The problem is that we, as bounty hunters, we are accepting to deal with these projects and give them our time. They can't scam if the community asks them to put the tokens or the coins in the hands of an escrow service. We take the blame too for letting them waste our time and run with our efforts. There's a bounty moderations platforms, we should start using them instead of interacting directly with these suspicious bounty campaigns.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people swapping their XRP investment for. on: December 29, 2020, 03:39:36 PM
I think that some of the investors will be rushing to buy Cardano, Ethereum, Nem and litecoin. These are the safest pairs and tokens / coins to buy at these moments. Especially Ethereum after that jump from 650$ to 740$. I am expecting Ethereum to be at 800+$ in the upcoming weeks which seems really getting achieved. You might invest now but try to spead your investment, never jump into one coin only.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: want to invest .. on: December 29, 2020, 03:06:46 PM
I would really recommend buying only the top 100 coins and tokens and trading them on a daily to weekly basis, there might be some huge pumps, some huge dumps so always be careful and never investor hilarious amount of money, it's quite cool if you win a big amount but do you think that it will be cool if you lose your whole capital or even 25% of it if you pick a wrong choice? think about that.
There's alot of coins above the top 100 listings on CoinMarketCap but these are exactly risky, you can make x10 or x100 easily if you pick the right choice but it's a game of luck to be honest. take care and do some great graph analysis!
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your loss at an acceptable level on: December 29, 2020, 02:48:54 PM
I wanted to let you know about this sentence: "A loss isn't a loss, till you hit the sell button."
Here's the deal, you opt in for a trade and you pick a choice and then the market picks another way other the one that you predicted, selling because of the fear at that moment will put you in a loss, in the other side waiting and having a little bit of faith or patience could lead into a win. Put that in your mind always.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bnb is cheaper faster then eth and btc on: December 29, 2020, 02:33:53 PM
Binance is a giant when it comes to the cryptocurrency business associations and corporations, their coin is just great but i fear it because it has a high price just because the fame that they earned in the last couple of years, i think that their blockchain is solid and well adopted, fyi i never used them but i kept following it for a while, i might recommend it for making transactions these days, good pick for real!
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP - The 2nd Biggest Scam in Digital Currency History on: December 29, 2020, 02:12:57 PM
Tk808, i must say loudly that i am proud of you!
I think that you can remember me, you gave me a couple of merits in the past that i really appreciated so much. I wanted to say that i had all these ideas you wrote in my mind since a long, very long period of time and what really drived me insane is their relations, they have powerful relationships and they even reached Moneygram, who the hell can get in touch with such a big money transfer association? That wasn't a normal move at all, they got a helping hand from that company that i always have hated it, Moneyshit.
These are giants, whales having thousands and thousands of united states dollars wanting to move them and make more money using their balances, so they went up and created Ripple, i used their system a couple of times in the past but what really made me scared is the trading graph back in 2017 and 2018, it moves insanely in the levels of 10 - 5 cents normally, they have a huge number of circulating shitty coins with alot of investors ready to grab a profit anytime that's what explaines the huge trading volumes and the huge price movements. I really never trusted Tether and the company behind it, they are the main reason why BTC is pumped so fast, they are not worth the trust too. Keep being safe guys and never, never, ever deposit alot of money to their system. Use them for low-fast transactions, be safe, please.
68% sell decisions in Coinbase for XRP, people are afraid!  Roll Eyes
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When This Scam Will stop?? on: December 29, 2020, 01:51:38 PM
The decentralization era does value that each and every individual can open and launch his own project, there's no solution to prevent the users from launching scam projects but in the other side, we should raise the awareness of investors in order to reduce the scam attemps/accidents. Each and every user of cryptocurrencies can be scammed, unfortunately.

Good story to read and happy to see that the guy won eventually.

Remember we are not lawyers and this is an open forum. If there is a chance for OP to take legal action then he can use the same route. Good luck to OP.

PS: Sorry I ran out of smerit. This reference deserves some merit.
Wow, that's a great story to read. As you can see, the amount is 1500€ which is just a good amount and worth filing a case. I think that the amounts ripped by Fortune Jack are worth filing a case and running behind them. I'm sure that alot of legendary members and well-known members here are running the fortune jack's signature campaign, where are you guys? Do you think that it's legal to cancel this type of bets, even if they cancel it then they should return the stake amount to the OP. Just my my 2¢.
76  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tokens.net Might be another scammy Exchange! on: December 27, 2020, 10:22:38 PM
Someone have already opened a scam accusation against this exchange. You may forgot to check through forum search button.
Here is the accusation link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5159428.0
I read that thread, and I'm wondering if there was any sort of resolution for the OP.  My guess is no, but that thread just died off very quickly, and there's been no followup since then.

I did find this odd:

People they closed my account! I'm going to talk with lawyer and report them UK Police!
Tokens.net highly values the privacy of our clients. Under rare and special circumstances where we have reasonable grounds to believe that a client is involved in unlawful activity, we may freeze transactions until the investigation is complete. In such cases we can only share limited information with clients under investigation.
I'm not sure what kind of illegal activity tokens.net thought he was involved with, but the guy did apparently give them all the info they asked for, and it looks like they just stole his funds using that clause as an excuse.  I don't think it's legal for an exchange to just seize a customer's funds and not give them a chance to appeal.

As far as this thread goes, my suggestion would be to just stay very far away from tokens.net, because they don't seem like an honest exchange--if they're even still functioning.
I was taking a look at this account:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=356769
That guy is a member of a project called CryptoWater (i think) which is connected with the mentioned above suspicious exchange platform.
Take a look at this website: https://www.cryptowater.si/
You'll find some bottles of water containing the logo of that exchange:

The website is slovenian i think, what i wanted to say is that there's somehow a weird connection between these projects.
Look at that guy's signature too, you'll find him shilling this coin created in 2016:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1448065
open that ANN, you'll find that it was listed in Tokens.net, also, Tokens.net has slovenian language too, which is interesting for me to know!  Wink
Buddy, i'm leaving this discussion but i just highly recommend staying away from that exchange as the Pharmacist have said.

Thanks for sharing that post, i didn't really search for the related threads but my thread could be an addition as now, i know and now i can confirm that this exchange is 100% a scammy one. It's connected to each other, ELITE and Tokens.net and i'm thinking that ECASH too is connected to the same owner. Stay away guys, never deposit anything to this scammy hole.
78  Economy / Scam Accusations / Tokens.net Might be another scammy Exchange! on: December 27, 2020, 09:43:01 AM
Hello folks, i'm not that spam or crime or even a scam buster, you can notice this reality when reading suchmoon's feedback on my account, lol.
So, without any introductions, i'm going to leave these details here and you're going to judge or continue the research about Tokens.net.
ELITE, one of the tokens that i got involved with their airdrop campaign back in 2017 i think left the crypto space, their dev run out with alot of funds and the project is listed now as an untracked listing in CoinMarketCap after reaching 2$ in value back in 2017, take a look:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum-lite/
try to click on their website listed in coinmarketcap:
http://www.ethereumlite.org/
You'll get redirected into Tokens.net, there is no links between both of the projects, one only thing is that the new exchange platform is Polish and i can remember that the dev wasn't that excellent in terms of English writing.
It's a good way and it was a good token with a supply of 1M only, but do you think that it's ethical to run airdrops and collect funds to launch a business using these funds after making the ELITE initiative dead?
I'm not saying that it's a scam, but, it's like it is, you're the judge.  Roll Eyes
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your alts. I hold big bag of BitBall BTB. What about you and why? on: December 27, 2020, 09:38:16 AM

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price of a new token in USD and USDT is different on: December 26, 2020, 08:36:21 PM
Hey there,
I don't know the token that you're talking about but here's the thing:
Each and every new stable coin, if the one you're talking about is a stable coin, might face some problems when it comes to the trading for the 1st while. People might get some bounty coins and they want to dump them or maybe there's a liquidity issue that drives the token to be traded for lower than its value.
If the token is meant to be a stable asset worth 1 usd then you should not dump your coins for lower than their value of 1 usd, if the foundation behind the project is a solid one then you can buy some of these tokens and you can consider the 0.2$ as a discount price, lol, otherwise if its not a solid one just stay away buddy.
