61  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-08] Bitcoin Price Loses $3,000 in Major Correction on: December 08, 2017, 05:51:50 PM
Another clickbait title.
It could have just as easily read "bitcoin gains only 115% this month" lol
62  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Find an upcoming Blockchain and ICO event near you! on: December 04, 2017, 11:41:53 AM
I just got back from the Cyprus event and it was really good.
I have some pictures and footage from the event too.
Unfortunately I won't be able to attend Slovenia but am looking forward to more events.
Thanks!
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: December 04, 2017, 11:30:45 AM
This has been said here before but it's the first asset that bears qualities of both a currency and a commodity.
This is one of the reasons it is so difficult to value but also one of the reasons for its price resilience
64  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-29] Lightning Bitcoin-Another Bitcoin Fork Scheduled For December 23rd on: December 03, 2017, 08:24:30 AM
The link was pasted wrong.
There are a lot of details not even released about this yet.
More free coins to change into bitcoin?
65  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-24] Russia’s most famous billionaires are investing heavily in Bitcoin. on: November 24, 2017, 09:20:29 PM
I don't think clear ban is a fair statement either.
There are definitely some mixed messages.
I think it's more a ploy for control than a problem with crypto or bitcoin.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Deep.Gold - Deep Gold Rule your world - BUILT TO LAST FOREVER on: November 24, 2017, 06:38:42 PM

67  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-21]Most Young Americans Will Hodl their Bitcoin Until it Reach $190,000 on: November 22, 2017, 08:54:59 AM
HODLing is great, spending is important too as stated above.
Use bitcoin for plane tickets, electronics and online purchase where possible instead of taking out cc.
At least that's my opinion.
Also just to remind 564 people in this survey and the $193k was an average. So...
68  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-22] Bitcoin Will “Never” be Legalized in Russia, Claims Minister on: November 22, 2017, 08:51:23 AM
Russia clearly believes in crypto.
I think the question is whether they can get their own state controlled coin to succeed.
Time will tell.
Talk from Russia doesn't meant a lot.
Action will determine
69  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-22] Bitcoin Price to End Year at $10,000: Mike Novogratz on: November 22, 2017, 08:49:45 AM
With more than a month to go and CME and bch it's still open season here.
I think Richard Heart is still sticking to his 20k prediction.
70  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-21]Bitcoin Wallet Bamboozle: Bitcoin.com Offering Bitcoin Cash Wallet, on: November 22, 2017, 08:47:07 AM
The idea of legal consequences here is just absurd.
Not going to happen.
I think some of the comments I have seen about this are just hating.
I personally do not support bitcoin cash at all but I think they are fully in their rights to create this option in the wallet by default.
Many users probably appreciate having both.
The issue is about user experience and how clearly things are explained to users, especially new users.
It is so easy to send BTC to BCH address of vice versa.
I even get that defaults for many options like send/receive/buy got to BCH.
Not my prefernce but they own the wallet.
The question is how well is this explained to users.
People losing bitcoin while trying to transact is not good for ANYONE in this the crypto world.
When the brand war starts hurting onboarding and new users then it's gone too far.
71  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Baltic Honeybadger 2017 on: November 22, 2017, 08:14:05 AM

72  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] ABCore - the first Bitcoin Core running on Android - Support Thread on: November 19, 2017, 12:13:43 PM
This is very cool.
To make sure I understand, the recommendation is then an Android device running Wi-Fi?
Do you know how much memory would be needed?
73  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-18] Astrologist Predicts What Will Happen to Bitcoin Price in 2018–2020 on: November 19, 2017, 12:11:05 PM
On the other hand thinking about it again this is actually a great sign.
Of astrologists care enough it means we're closer to mainstream than I thought.
To the moon (bitcoin moon not astrology one lol)
74  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-18] Astrologist Predicts What Will Happen to Bitcoin Price in 2018–2020 on: November 19, 2017, 12:09:56 PM
Ok this is a total joke.
Maybe we will start seeing bitcoin astrology hotlines lol
75  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-14] Blockchain, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency And ICOs - All You Need To Know on: November 19, 2017, 07:33:56 AM
More and more of these mainstream mieny people are going to be calling for regulation.
Bitcoin is likely to be treated well be regulators in most places but it will need to be distinguished from ICOs.
I don't think there can be all encompassing regulation that serves well.
Also by my count there are a lot more than 2000 cryptocurrencies.
I agree that the majority serve no purpose.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Silver Fork - December on: November 16, 2017, 12:08:26 PM
Does anyone have any info about this silver fork story?
Is it legit? Website?
77  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-16] Bitcoin Prices Could Reach $196,165.79 on: November 16, 2017, 12:05:49 PM

Don`t forget that according to the author, such high bitcoin value may be achieved in next generation. This is at least 20 years of BTC adoption and  integration into the world economy, real sector. From this point of view, figures may be even higher.

Very true.
Personally I think we are likely to get there a lot sooner.
The next few months will be interesting as institutional money starts to flow in.
I also think once the SEC actually prosecutes an ICO then more funds etc will be willing to put money into bitcoin.
78  Bitcoin / Meetups / Bitcoin conference Cyprus 30 November on: November 16, 2017, 09:17:40 AM
Anyone going to the event in Cyprus on 30 November?

79  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Any IL people near me? on: November 16, 2017, 09:13:57 AM

80  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-15] Bitcoin Hits $13,500 in Zimbabwe as Tanks Roll Through the Capital on: November 16, 2017, 09:10:27 AM
The whole Zimbabwe situation is crazy.
So many people's lives ruined because of a despot.
I hope anyone with bitcoin did not tell anyone that they have any...
