What can you say me... is it something wrong here?, or I only have to wait more time. I think there may be a problem with the network, please try to run with log-level 2 to see if any hint: Some ppl reported that reducing "block-sync-size" could help in some cases, so pls try with: sumokoind --block-sync-size 20

How to use the sumo wallet that i created with the wallet generator?
Wallet generator is to generate an address (and related info to restore wallet) that is often used for pool mining for example. To have a full wallet, you'll need to run a node and use command-line to restore the wallet (with 26 mnemonic seed words) as guide here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905086.msg18910789#msg18910789Or you may want to wait for GUI wallet that set to have first alpha release in late this month.

Did the daemon fully synced with network? If it did, please start wallet with log-level 2 sumo-wallet-cli --log-level 2
Then copy content from file sumo-wallet-cli.log in the same folder of wallet cli to somewhere like https://paste.fedoraproject.org/ and send me the link for investigation. Thx. I have the same problem, what is sumo-wallet-cli --log-level 2 ?? It is really annoying I tried over and over again and all I got is that restarting refresh Please restore your wallet following this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905086.msg18910789#msg18910789

No, the bug was fixed on time guys

We're still finding more effective way to fight the issue, some reserved hashpower needed to reduce hashrate faster yet if surge hashrate continues, we may need a hardfork to make network scale better. However, we hope when global hashpower raises, the problem would be neutralized
DEV aint posting updates, so I dont know if they are working on it. I hope so otherwise this coin will be lost Surely, devs are working. We're still under constant hashrate surging attacks and GUI wallet dev still on track. Thank you for interest.

I want to buy SUMO,but the trading market is too little.LOL
There is a sell order of 4500 coins for 9995sats each. LOL I think this sell order will be solved next days . The supply source is not much on the crytopia exchange. Dev should buy some big orders to boost this coin up and support this project sooner. Well, devs are all poor, working part time for project so it should depend on community or until we have serious investors

The difficulty keeps rising... It's getting lower now
|
|
|
Something needs to be done about the difficulty re-targeting ASAP. This coin is going to die the way it is now, the difficulty is still going up trying to catch up to the 400~KH peak we had last night and blocks are not being found.
This is a kind of attack we didn't foresee. The burst in hashrate left network with high diff while it needs some block mined to adjust that in turn takes very long time in low hash power

Keep it up Dev.
Thank you, feeling stronger now

Update works, just moved the 3 files over to the updated SUMO & can't wait till the GUI in June. The simple wallet is really not that fun having to type everything by hand, can't even copy & paste, only by hand. Feels like many year ago before GUI was in any coins Copy & Paste works for me ... Why can't you do it? And thanks for the udating-help Not talking about copy & paste of files, talking about copy of a payment ID & address into the simple wallet is not possible? // will test it again, but am sure there is no way to copy from the command line simple wallet or paste to it If you are using Windows, right-clicking on the title bar of the command prompt window should give you access to edit (copy and paste). Here are more instructions: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/25590/how-to-enable-ctrlv-for-pasting-in-the-windows-command-prompt/Thanks, I should have remembered that option & just been so long since I've used it. That's what I ment I use Console2 or EmuCon, with a little config, selected text is automatically copied and right-click to paste. That changed my life ever since

Upstream commit to prevent this exploit is not present in current sumokoin code. @sumoshi: Can you merge these commits into sumokoin? We were not reported as at the time we were still in stealth, we'll need an urgent update. We'll scan the blockchain to see any suspicion and report to you though we doubt it can be easily exploited as our blocksize had increased significantly from original Monero (240KB vs 60KB) and forced high ringsize could be a plus for protection. Thanks a lot for report. It's very nice to see you here. If this coin is listed on the bittrex exchange then it will be a interesting coin after XMR. I also joined this mining of sumokoin but now the diff is so high and it seems no much profit mining . I will consider to buy some coins on the cryptopia exchange and it's still very cheap. Thank you very much for your kind support.

Yes, we need roadmap, news, estimated planning. You don't need to jump and say "Taaadaaaa, we have a wallet GUI, just download!". We need to know planning, like when do You plan to release the GUI wallet, when sumokoin will appear on poloniex (my favorite exchange, but this is personal choice). We don't immediate features, but we need to know the plan. BTW, global hash rate dropped, so I will fire up my miners again Sorry for not around here, so busy at dev, the GUI wallet starts visualized now Here are some updates: Dev roadmap: - GUI wallet: First workable beta on June 15, 2017 if not sooner - Side project: Easy GUI miner - late June, 2017 - Core: v0.1.1.0 on late July, 2017 Exchanges: - Bittrex: Late June, 2017, after GUI wallet ok and if funding is enough or we can negotiate other terms - Poloniex: Unspecified, we'll need help from community and buzz from media (planning that) Any idea or help is welcome. Thank you all. Add a normal roadmap and topics of localization in the OP Sure, I'll have a update next week, plus more info
