I think there are quite a few more that did not accept a "refund" from cygan, right? I know I didn't (wasn't crazy much, though).
A way to approach the how-to-manage-funds question would be to have maybe one person or a team of 2 or 3 trusted collectible memebers that take the task upon them to collect all data on anyone affected by sweeps, missing cards, missing funding and loans. We then can compare that total to the funds that were collected during the charity auctions. Let's say we get a 1:5, meaning for every Satoshi that's "missing" we have 0.2 Satoshi to distribute to anyone affected. All this should/could have a deadline (maybe within 3 months or so) - anyone that doesn't come forward with proveable losses from the Coldscam will not receive compensation from the charity funds.
Sure, we can prioritize either people who loaned money or people that haven't accepted cygans offer, or cygan himself - but most fair to me seems to take EVERYONE into account equally and just payout a share like suggested above.
Just my few sats. It's late after a long day and maybe I missed some important points. So feel free to discuss.
That may work, but cygan already refunded people at 100% of their loss. How would that factor into the losses/repayments? If it did come to a 1:5 ratio, would they have to pay back 80%? Good question and first impulse is: They can't be factored in at all. Good for them, I mean it was everyone's choice to take up cygan's offer or not. Them paying back 80% (or whichever number it is) is of course not a feasible option. Generally I believe there are only non-optimal options, meaning someone will always feel disadvantaged or believe the funds should be distributed here or there first or with other proportions. That's why I think there shouldn't be any priority. That said I think lost premiums cannot (and should not) be included in the losses calculation. They change all the time and cannot really be determined, also I would book it under regular collector risks to lose out on (most) of a premium value.

Fun item indeed, and it only costs less than half a Bitcoin. Ah, now I got reminded of the blockchain-watch 2.0 scam again. :\ @rsincognito Wow, that's crazy. Collectibles for less than face value on ebay... Does that happen often? :s

62 - Kryptowerk 39 slots left
remember any of you who only got one slot, you are welcome to get a second if you purchase anything from the 3 posts in the OP.
It is not required to make a purchase to participate - the purchase only entitles you to a second slot in this raffle.
I just noticed that nice extra rule. Thank you again and even more so a pleasure doing business. :> Can't wait to get my Bitcoin coffee. ;-)

I really like the idea to carry a card next to credit and other cards. Also it's what folks are most used to, so this could also bring some Bitcoin adaoption to the people. Seeing Krogoth already has some of these and his positive feedback also helps me lose any doubt if this is really legit etc - great!

Lot 1: 0.031 Lot 2: 0.011 Lot 3: 0.003 BTC LN, ETH, LTC, DOGE also accepted due to BTC network congestion/fees being ridiculous! —— Excellent! Nice, maybe a good time to get rid of some of the old altcoin trash-stash. Any other coins (SOL, MATIC, etc) accepted, too, or just the mentioned above? Would like to keep it to the ones mentioned above if possible Yeah, understandable, no worries. It's no fun juggling too many of them shitcoins, besides as you wrote it was about the fee situation. LTC or Doge or a plain Lightning transaction is what seems most reasonable for a true Bitcoiner here.

61 - Kryptowerk Much appreciated, thank you Mopar! I gotta say, I have seen lots of things, but never that Bitsend bottle opener. A rarity for sure! Really cool stuff, personally I am hoping to maybe snack some BTC Tick-Tacks or Coffee.

Is the USD price of $100 fixed for these (funded)? At the current Bitcoin rate that's around 0.00268 BTC. Or is it $60 in BTC + the loading of 0.0015 BTC? I think I wanna pick up two bars, loaded - if still available.

Well, can't really call this pure sniping, it was more like a 20 minute shootout. Congrats to our little yellow bird for the winning bid. Lovely piece, hope to see more made available via the forum by Max.

Wanna jump in real quick, these coins DO look amazing in the pics, with Bitcoin on the rise I most likely will jump in at some point and place an order. Not to be too annoying about it, but I wanna repeat I think it's about time you implement some Native SegWit (bc1q...) and ideally also lightning payment option. Any Bitcoin related business should have these options imho. All the best, KW

Lot 1: 0.0033
Love to see Julien Assange getting some recongition in our collectible crypto space. A cool sentence to go with on the backside of the coin could have been "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely". Human rights are nice, as long as you don't fuck with the wrong state... Sorry (not sorry) for the rant. In any case awesome coin.

Nice to see a raffle for a higher valued item. I am thinking about buying a slow, 0.002 seems like an affordable gamble every once in a while. With Bitcoin starting its moon-engines I am a little hesitant. It's a beautiful piece, watching for now...

Beautiful pieces of shame. I would guess a few of these will come to surface over the next few months. I just tried to check real quick but couldn't come up with an answer - where there also coins produced/released in 2017 with 1 BTC denomination or only the 0.1s? How about the gold ones?
Lot 1: 0.0018 BTC

Also noch alles möglich weite Daumen drücken.
