is that configuration based off of autotune? or did you just selected it?

The settings were originally "-D -H 1 -m 1 -d 0 -i 1 -l K16x16 -C 2", copied from here: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

Which were working fine at first for multiple hours of mining but wouldn't work once I restarted the client so I tweaked them a bit until I got it to work again.
The autotune settings haven't really been working for me, just a bunch of "result does not validate on CPU"

Take out -l because that could be and old config that no longer valid. You need to autotune after every upgrade
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: December 23, 2013, 04:55:51 AM
Recently started mining. I've got 2 Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB however I'm seeing some weird results.

My settings looks like this: "-i 1 -l K16x16 -C 2"

I'm seeing a lot of "result does not validate on CPU", basically every change I make to the settings will cause this error. Even restarting the client with the same settings will give me this error a bunch of times, I have to tweak the settings, try to launch with new settings and then switch back to my old settings to get it to work. Even launching it without any pre-set settings will cause an error.

Once I do get it to work, one of the GPUs is reporting a hashrate of ~2000 khash/s which is obviously false, and the other is showing ~350 khash/s. However, if I change my settings to "-i 0", one of the GPUs will show a hashrate of ~90,000 khash/s while the other one remains at 350.

Also, looking at MSI Afterburner only one card is being utilized, GPU #1 is at 100% usage while GPU #2 is sitting at 0% usage, I can't seem to get both GPUs to be utilized.

Any suggestions or ideas?

is that configuration based off of autotune? or did you just selected it?

Stunna, I think you should make a whitelist for zero rolls, or even need to talk in chat before you can type thing...to stop these bots spamming zero rolls

it will be better to have a min bet(ie; 1 satoshi), else its gonna be so much hassle for us to whitelist each and everyone  Undecided

Maybe it should go into PD3 development Smiley it be automatically done based on the above criteria to be whitelisted

Yeah I'm having trouble now too, lagging.  ONly for the past half hour I'd say

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: December 06, 2013, 04:08:47 PM
Guys, I wonder if anyone is using GTX 780s to mine litecoins? I already do this using my 7990 system with no issues but when I try to set up cudaminer in order to utilise the 2 x 780s in my other system, I am getting no hashing.

I installed cuda 5.5 (64bit) and set up the .bat file in the cudaminer directory but when I run it, no autotuning takes place and hashing never really starts.  Cudaminer launches and attempts to hash and my system becomes hiddeously slow, taking 1 minute to move the mouse pointer. The script appears correct and is taken from my pool's configurator (litecoinpool.org).

Are there any other dependencies required in order to mine with Nvidia cards which I am missing?  I saw the OP has put some other dependencies for windows but I am not sure what to do with them?  They don't seem to be as straight forward as download and install?

You need drive about like 3xx or something, can't remember the exact number. make sure the drivers are up to date

Hi,

I have this weird gimmick with cudaminer with my GTX 670 where if I play a video, cudaminer gets about 20% more KH/s and GPU utilization increases by 10%. I can't think of any reason why this would be the case as the GPU clock never changes. Any idea why this happens?

Cudaminer by itself:

You're using with Interactive 1. Which means it is reserving GPU for your monitor. try using -i 0

That seems to have fixed the gimmick.
Is there an explanation as to why it does that?

The technical explanation would have come from Christian, but interactive 1 reserves gpu for usuage.

so far as i know there is no more scrypt-mining-support with that version, try elder ones Wink

Edit: i'm using cgminer versions 3.01 + 3.10 + 3.11 + 3.20 on different rigs

3.7.2 is the last version with scrypt support

hm... i tried 3.3, 3.4 + 3.5 - but they are not running fine - so i got back to the old ones...

you may test other versions before 3.7.2 or change the mining-software -> e.g. bfg-miner

BFGminer will not detect the cards

I'm using CGMiner 3.7.2 to do altcoin mining. However, my new R9 270x aren't performing the same at all. One is only getting about 40 KHs, but the second one is performing around 450KHS.  I've tried fiddling with the configuration, but still the same result. This is my first Radeon based Rig. If anyone could point me in the right direction to get them preforming them the same.

I am getting this on startup: I'm not sure if it matters.

For solo mining,

my coind command: -server -rpcuser=aaa -rpcpassword=123456 -rpcport=8100

my cudaminer command: -o http://127.0.0.1:8100 -O aaa:123456 -C 1 -i 0 -H 1 -l F14x16

This is what I usually have...

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=User
rpcpassword=user
rpcallowip=all
rpcport=7785
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

Primedice actually has never worked for me after the recent update and cloudfare issue. Now the homepage opens though, but when I login with my old id & pass, it shows a blank page. Any suggestions?

Old user accounts are lost. You must email support to recover any btc. You also need to create a new account
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: December 04, 2013, 01:06:32 PM
Never used it to solo mine before but I didn`t think it`d be difficult

cudaminer.exe -o localhost:9322 -u blah -p 1

I think you have to add a --no-stratum flag to cudaminer. The next versions will automatically treat http:// and https:// URLs as non-stratum. Any objections?

Also pass the -server flag to litecoin-qt or whatevercoin-qt when you start it (e.g. by editing the Windows shortcut accordingly).

never needed the flags for solo mining. I would suggest their conf file for the qt is not setup correctly.

What coin are you trying to mine? what is your conf file like?

I can't seem to make this work for alternatepool.com .

Point Your Miner To:
stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:3333
Username: <Your BTC Address>

Code:
cudaminer -o stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:3333 -u 1ABGZH6oWW6QbkPG4JEajC2q2bFMaJAhci -p x

Here is my output:

Code:
[2013-12-03 22:44:06] 1 miner threads started, using 'scrypt' algorithm.
[2013-12-03 22:44:06] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:

[2013-12-03 22:45:07] ...retry after 15 seconds
[2013-12-03 22:45:36] stratum_recv_line failed

btw, I have this working fine on multipool.us

That is odd..works fine for me on that pool   did you try -O   Address:x  instead?

May I know your exact config?

doing this:
Code:
cudaminer -O stratum+tcp://miner.alternatepool.com:3333 -u 1ABGZH6oWW6QbkPG4JEajC2q2bFMaJAhci -p x

I get

Code:
[2013-12-04 08:23:42] 1 miner threads started, using 'scrypt' algorithm.
[2013-12-04 08:23:42] Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
