61  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: March 13, 2017, 10:28:45 PM
What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?

My prediction in bitcoin though I'm not a psychic, its just only my view about in bitcoin, there is a chance that bitcoin can be 3000$ dollars before end of this year its not because others always said it but because of the demand happened in a daily basis of the community.

$3k peak in May falling from there, $1800 at the end of the year but still falling. Grin

My predictions will be $1300 by the end of the year and $2000 by 2020 this is based on the trend of bitcoin price rise and dip yes there are chances that bitcoin may cross the mark of $2000 before the end of this year but i am talking about the base floor value like how $1000 has become a base value for first quarter of this year.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 13, 2017, 10:25:20 PM
Both, because both are very valuable in my opinion, where the price of gold is sometimes the price goes up so does bitcoin.two invaluable

Most of those who are new to bitcoin or not aware of bitcoin would choose gold due to the stability of gold but who have more knowledge about bitcoin and have done enough research about bitcoin will go for bitcoin because the percentage of profit in a short time which you can earn with bitcoin is way higher than what you can get as profit from investing in gold even after years. But there are some safe players like you who will prefer both which is really good.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 13, 2017, 10:22:12 PM
I think it's obvious that bitcoin is a technology of the future.and cash is not money that is used to pay in the future. everything will be all-digital right ?
i think it is the need of the time, as now the trend of the people is changing they are now giving more preference to online currency therefor  they are giving importance to bitcoin as bitcoin is the number one currency of the world.

I agree with your point to an extend that people give more preference to bitcoin over the fiat but still bitcoin is not the number one currency but soon bitcoin will be the number one and widely accepted currency which is possible only when people like me and you educate more and more people about the bitcoin and advantages of bitcoin over the fiat currency.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: March 13, 2017, 10:17:36 PM

I think everyone will like it because of the presence of this thread they would find it helpful to get this information, if bitcoin is as currency crypto international, of course, we in traveling abroad no longer need to exchange money, we can directly click the money sent , simple, easy and safe to use

Yes and i am sure bitcoin will be soon accepted as international currency just like how USD is widely accepted but again it depends on the government of that particular country as well. However most of us are using bitcoin and once almost everyone starts using bitcoin at least 50 % of people then it will be impossible from stopping bitcoin to become international currency and i have seen bitcoin ATM in some western and European countries which mean bitcoins are more welcomes there over their national currency.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price of bitcoin still skyrocket on: March 13, 2017, 10:12:45 PM
In the previous months the price of bitcoin was really skyrocket showing faster rise of its price in the market, but for now it as stablizing at $1300. The significant past good performance really impressed everyone, thinking that it will always remain to the current state it has. Actually it's more our economy of a country sometimes the economic growth rises and there were times it falls down, and that's how bitcoin behaves from the few weeks passed by.

But i am sure even though the price rise of bitcoin has been slowed down in past couple of weeks but still we will reach $1300 mark in short span of time but just to remind now the $1000 mark has become like base price of bitcoin and it will not go below that i am sure just the same \way the base price for bitcoin will be $1300 by December.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: March 13, 2017, 10:08:30 PM
I'm thinking that we will see that price again for the next months to come. And we will see $1,300 as flooring price and stable before and after this year ends. Remember when 2016 is ending most of us expected that the price will even reached to $1k+ and it happened. Each year bitcoin is increasing and showing us surprises.

Even i feel the same the price of $1300 will become stable and standard price by the end of this as just like how $1000 has become a standard bitcoin price now but during the month of December and January it will be either make or break situation because last year we predicted the price to go high by leap and bounces but it ended up dropping down only to make a huge leap of faith in mid of 2016.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price is the Moon landing? on: March 13, 2017, 10:04:50 PM
For me, BTC has moon landed already. I remember the time when its price crashed and people were panicking and now it is beyond everything people imagined at that time. However, to add something for the future, I think BTC will land on the next planet when reaching $10k. It will be the next big milestone in a logarithmic scale ))
True.  This moon thing doesn't really make sense, because Bitcoin is at a very high price right now to what you would expect it to be.  Bitcoin isn't suddenly going to have its price fly up to the stars forever, there needs to be a genuine grounding for it, and it'll go planet by planet.  Next stop, Mars, will be around $3-4k.

Yes there is nothing as such as moon landing here in bitcoin as of now all we can say is that bitcoin's value is increasing day by day and it will reach $3000 by the end of 2020 as per my calculation based on the trend of last 3 years.

70  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [4000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: July 07, 2014, 08:57:21 PM
Hi,

i've just one little question about account management.
my old mailadress doesn't exist anymore so i send an issue via mail to support and signed it with bitcoin-qt and selected same BTC-address i had set for payout. that was on 06-30.
on 07-02 it changed automatically to critical and owner is shown as Jan.

is there any way contacting support direktly asking for time it will take for changing?

i don't want to delete my account and set up new one only caused by can't change mail.

Anno

I think we are all guilty from time to time of changing our email accounts without fully considering the implications. Crypto currency is extremely vulnerable and like cash all precautions should be taken, in the future we will all be a little more careful when we change our email addresses.

We should all really have a paper copy of email addresses, passwords and encryption keys kept in a very safe place, and when changing email addresses we should all ensure that our email address is updated and all changes are confirmed before allowing the address to lapse.

On a slightly related note I assume that all pools must have thousands of accounts created on them that have balances below the payout limit where the account holder has either lost access to the account or has given up mining. What happens to these BTC do they just sit in the pool wallet forever?

Yeah ,, what happens to the BTC in a lost wallet too, there was a guy a couple of months before last xmas in the UK that lost 5m pounds or something on a HDD he chucked away.

Im sure if I did some research I could find out, but if anyone has a short answer on hand that would be great.

thank you

sadly, lost is lost and all the fractions of a btc sitting in a pool stay there until the pool shutsdown and the owner of the pool takes them.
71  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: July 07, 2014, 12:52:56 AM
I ordered direct from blackarrow and got a tracking number 2 days ago, friday. I don't know what people here are talking about. Shocked

What was your Order number from Blackarrow? As many of us have low order numbers from Blackarrow and have seen nothing..

it is a 2 digit number.

74  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [11000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: July 05, 2014, 11:28:13 PM
Everybody wants more, more, more! Unfortunately, that means less for the pool operators. As pool's share size shrinks due to more big farms hashing on their own pools or servers, this is only going to get worse. it is quite possible that the day will come when there are only 1 or 2 public pools left and only the hobbyist miners will be home miners.  Cry
75  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [12000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: June 15, 2014, 08:56:57 PM
My two Satoshi.

if you really think that the pool you are on is being short changed, move to another pool, for the little guys the payout should be close to the same.

If you feel that all the pools are being short changed, <sarcasm on>then solo mine<sarcasm off>. It is better to get short changed than nothing at all?

or, start your own pool so that you know no one is getting short changed.

or, sell your miners and buy bitcoins, that is supposed to be the best bet anyway.
76  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: June 03, 2014, 09:02:48 PM
yeah, it kinda feels bad if somebody jumps in just before a block is found. But honestly, it is still a matter of luck. That guy who jumped in at the eleventh hour just may have jumped into the middle of 25 hour block. there is no predicting when a block will be found except statistically for a given hash rate and luck can kick that in the teeth.

Slush's pool was the first. The best? that is in the eye of the beholder. If you think you can do better or know better then start your own pool and let the miners decide. Coming into this thread and saying "this isn't fair" or "it should be this way" accomplishes nothing other than pushing up your post count. Nobody who matters reads this thread anymore.

There is Nothing new under the Sun, every great idea that you have has been had before. Stop thinking you are special and smarter than eveyone else.

and we reached 4%...

Why haven't they figured out who the huge "unknown" is yet? It's been that way for quite some time..
I'm thinking ghash offloaded a chunk of their hashing to a new ip to keep it looking like they don't have much.

as has been said many times before. Unknown is not one entity, it is all unknown entities grouped together. if you are looking at blockchaininfo, they show a larger unknown that other sites do. Also ananimity is a feature of bitcoin, so people who wish to be unknown should be allowed to.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Retail - Will it Ever Truly Happen on: May 28, 2014, 08:25:13 PM
Until opensource POS software becomes available, i don't see wide adoption. My local Pizza guy asked me about Bitcoin, and i had to tell him that i didn't know how to impliment it for his business short of a total custom solution which might be painful to use. Undecided
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the chances that more than 21 million bitcoin will be created? on: May 10, 2014, 10:07:00 PM
I think it's likely, people won't be satisfied with just the transaction fees

Some will, and that is all it takes. the big money will move on to something other than mining. the little guys will stick around. difficulty will adjust down and the transaction fees will be enough.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the chances that more than 21 million bitcoin will be created? on: May 10, 2014, 04:44:32 PM
I vote to call the current, origninal bitcoin "Bitcoin: Original Recipe" and any forks "Bitcoin: 2.0, Bitcoin: 3.0, etc"
