61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: January 04, 2017, 07:48:28 AM

I read somewhere (another coin .... don't remember....) standby delegates is allowed to forge .... let's say after 101 delegates forging then allow from next 101 standby delegate to forge 2-5 (or whatever). This will not have a major impact for 101 delegates, but will mentain a more healty network. I think this will have a positive impact for LISK.

I think high N factor is and will be a problem for YAC network, as far as i know other scrypt-jane coins change to static N or POS. In aug.2017 N factor will be 19. Is hard to maintain a healthy network at higher N.

Hi guys. System fx6300 motherboard gigabyte 970 d3s3p psu 750watt +80. I have 2 sapphire rx 480 8gb graphics cards. One is model 11260-01-20g and the other model is 11260-07-20g. I do not get an error even when I overclock a high amount of 01-20g model. Even when I overclock the other on my other card, I get an error. Sometimes I get an error when I do not overclock. I've tried every possible way. I changed the bios, changed the board, changed the psu, gave the voltage but my problem did not improve. I'm glad you helped me.

Try to disable CrossFire, if is enabled

I contacted Sasha Ivanov, founder of Waves, about the linked address 1NGfrU4YNp8dox1gLeUDyjD5Vpfck9no5j that has 4800 BTC from Waves ICO.  His response was that if the project is successful, he is going to distribute our coin as dividend to Waves holders.
So, even the largest (so far) whale in our distribution is a kind of collective investment entity.

Could it become a potential threat for the Byteball system if the parties like Waves and Lisk and others will hold 10% of byteball for a fairly long time and won't distribute the coins to their investors, especially when they are in competition with Byteball? It may be not a bad idea to block their BTC addresses for the next distribution round if they don't distribute their coins from this round to their investors before the next round.

This is not a bad idea to block all ICO funds from getting Byteballs, as they are in the competition and it's not going to help us in anyway, unless they agree some sort of collaboration.

Maybe the right way is to actually cap the max amount of Byteballs given to any address.
If an address contains more than 1 BTC, in example, just give 1 BTC of Byteballs.
If the objective is to DISTRIBUTE Byteballs, you want this to happen this way, not to give immense quantities of Byteballs to people that ALREADY have a huge amount of real money stored in BTC.

This method seems more fair for community, but in practice is complicated to be managed correctly, people will split BTC to many addresses ...

so many posts about pools and payout (hashrate at pool), existing pool not steal from miners, pool calculate speed from submitted and accepted shares and reward miners when a block is found, pools not pay from speed displayed in miner.....

Will be interesting to see how LSK community will react about this politics "vote for me and i vote for you" or "mutual agreement" .... or community have a low power vote and LSK is accumulated by a few people....

MSI R9 390 1100/1500/def volatge get only 250 H/s with V9.
On V8 it was 270-280

Win7 64bit
15.12

How did you manage to get 300+ with R9 390?

Best regards

these power spikes or shutdown/crash seems to have a correlation with to much undervolt and overclock, depends of cards and their quality, I raised voltages, less overclock and for now is running fine.

in v9 is some power spikes, depends of cards and PSU loads to handle this
