61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: November 27, 2017, 01:09:02 PM
I have long liked this coin and I always wanted to buy it BUT. As soon as I came here to read about it there are not good people about it wrote very poorly. And I was scared to buy it now very much regret

Well what is most important is the quality of the software and project. I've always thought we explained things very well on this thread and are usually quick to respond to questions. We have a pretty large community too so perhaps you didn't ask the right people. Nonetheless if you have any questions we can surely answer them.

sent you a pm Dave

im quite interested to see the web wallet and even more interested to see the web market place once it come online.

I hope we can rope in some nice ui and web designers to make it awesome in the near future

Hello,

I agree Cryptohunter, its been a long tough road but the Davids efforts and everyone involved is finally paying off.  I have yet to see the new web wallet but I have seen glimpses of the upcoming UI redesign.  Everything is much improved but especially the daily volume, that is the most important for the upcoming PEG.

Thanks
RQDxRocket

i couldn't agree more.

The great thing is we have so much more than most projects but there is scope for even more to be added that will increase value before the peg.

I would expect 50 cents - 1 dollar is not impossible per bay before the peg is switched on and indeed that would be sensible for a fully functioning polished version of the bitbay roadmap in relation to other projects and what they ACTUALLY offer. I mean I would say this exceeds what is offered by almost every other alt with the exception of perhaps eth.

There are only a handful of projects that come close to being as interesting as bitbay with proven devs like david. Those caps are magnitudes higher than bays.

agree on all that
wish I had more than I have. which is not much but am looking forward to staking as the current 1.5 is pointless really, the 20 is worth it which is coming soon

very nice  Cool

could do with a Chinese/Mandarin page

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - fork of Zcash with harder mining params on: August 30, 2017, 12:04:58 AM
I'd be interested in any detail of difference between zcash, zclassic, zencash and now zero.

I know forks have got rid of the 20 per cent founders amount on zcash. But what is, for example, the main benefits/differences between zencash and zero? What will get non-miners interested in the coin?
Now it's about marketing and proving that it work as well. With the right development this coin can rise very well, now is just about team work. Wink

So we are going to overtake the coin or what? I think that dev abandoned this, last info is over months old.

you're not paying attention

dev visited forum as recently as 28th august, he regularly checks in but as he says he will very rarely post to thread

there was a commit made to github by him as recently as yesterday

I uderstand some people are trying to drive price down further, I think it's reached rock bottom
I expect an announcement from dev soon
we have domain, logos etc on sidelines when ready
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - fork of Zcash with harder mining params on: August 17, 2017, 01:43:00 PM
zero.finance is domain  Cool
Guido, that's a great domain name, as it starts with the 4 letter "zero".
Back in May, the original Dev (zerocurrency) mentioned that he reserved the domain zerocurrency.network
Unfortunately, the web site has not been developed so far, though you've seen the block explorer at zeroexplorer.com.

When the Dev awakens Smiley what would you want him to put on the site, beyond what's in the description in the initial post?
Snazzy animated graphics?
A detailed discussion of reasons for Equihash parameter tuning?
  Tearo

or this Domain zer0.eu is free
and zerocoin.eu

zev said this crypto is 'zero' only not zerocoin etc
plus you never reg numbers and letters in a domain, people will go to zero.eu instead of zer0.eu
also horrible for seo will not get ranked

we have a GREAT domain, be happy
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - fork of Zcash with harder mining params on: August 16, 2017, 11:00:23 PM
I registered  a while back a stellar domain for zero website
I will not have time to develop it but am happy to transfer for free to devs domain account, it's at namecheap, is free to push into account there

if you go at check at domain registrars almost every extension known to man zero.whatever is taken, why I don't know, even ridiculous extensions, some are crazy prices, thousands or hundreds per year.

I got an amazing one which fits perfectly and is cheap. I want no recompense as got cheap and did for community, so when one of devs wants to speak again can dm me or post here and we can sort so they can develop it

zero.finance is domain  Cool

Unofficial ZER blockchain explorer

Hello, here is a very rustic blockchain explorer : http://zeroexplorer.com/ or http://213.32.78.132/
I will improve it later. It's slow and there's maybe some bugs.

Thank's  Smiley.

you did a really nice job on this thankyou

how difficult is it to build your own block explorer for a coin?
could you do one for another coin?
thanks

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: July 24, 2017, 11:05:40 PM
*Breaking*

some great news, I have acquired Fastcoin.Org and will be developing it as a community site dedicated to Fastcoin
It will be an additional site to the one the devs run at Fastcoin.ca

For the immediate short term I have redirected it to .ca site so we gain some type in traffic and new users who may visit it in the hope the site is there.

This is quite a coup as if you check there is a lot of competiton for the fastcoin domains due to several coin dealers and other businesses using the name

imho this is the single best domain for any crypto to own, as on the org, it was actually originally registered long before bitcoin.org! due to compettion for the name
ALL extensions of any note are taken .info, .co, .com, .us the lot

even all the fastcoins plural main domains are gone!

I was watching the domain become expired couple years back but someone won at auction and then was reregistered. I now have it in my possession and fear not will never let expire

it is the domain extension any credible crypto is expected to own, the .org, litecoin, bitcoin etc

I will develop the domain as explained in time and will include blog, info, how to guides, merchant lists, possible bounty page and I have some very big plans for some other stuff much in fst favour which wont mention yet  Cool

If at any point in future i am unable to keep development up etc I will transfer to devs, but feel very healthy for us as a community to own this as well as a backup site to the .ca

the .ca site is great of course and will always be the 'main site' as devs, however .ca is country specific domain so will not rank as high as .com etc
plus as said we have lots of competition for name so another site to take top rankings on main search engines can help massively

plus I hope my site will greatly help traffic to .ca and twitter and our crypto and community
it also stops it going back to cyber squatters and possibly a fake site

so, this is great news
no timeline on site yet, but hope to get cracking in say a month or so

as a tandem site it will allow us to possibly crowdfund new developments and promote fastcoin and take our crypto forward as bitcoin did, the bitcoin community after all lost their developer, satoshi and bitcoin.org was very static but they developed their own sites, graphics, ideas, forums and so on, we have so much going for us
will be great to see all the new stuff the fastcoin devs are doing and we can actively move us forward in tandem with our new site

all hail Guido! lol
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: July 18, 2017, 04:34:26 PM
Take it with a grain of salt, but while you're almost hitting the sell button, just think 10 seconds to this:
- how about this amount$? will it change my life?
- back in the days, how about the guys who sold BTC @0.2$, after a 100% from 0.1$? LOL

The run to 1$ has just begun, if you can scroll down the coins' rankings.... look at the MCAPs of the first 15-60 and see their intrinsec value.
The run to 1$ has just begun.
Go Cheetax, and don't look back.

Does anyone still have access to the original code and can possibly modify/fork/improve Fastcoin or is it only speculative and without technical updates? The block time of 12 seconds is an advantage yes, but it takes a lot of precautions to make it really usable. This being said well played to those who fill their pockets Smiley

Fastcoin has been useable for over 4 years

we have an android wallet I think?  I use Fastcoin core

there will always be a core of supporters and diehards, miners and devs who will run nodes and qt wallets so sorted. strengthens network

lite wallets can be sorted in time

more people running full nodes in early days better
bitcoin wallet is a pig to download and uses up half my laptop memory but people still run it for security, core, same as fst

i have used everything, multibit, all series, electrum, only really safe with the core
multibit notorious for sending too small fee etc for btc, then you got problems

I think we're in great position

would like to see some new commits at git i believe dev team are underway with some things

at end of day FST team have always been here, never left the boat, in past month or two, we have a new website, new block explorer, new videos, constant comms, we should be very grateful, they don't get paid! they don't owe us anything
many devs walk, or you don't hear from for weeks, months , some coins, many actually devs just scam the community, not fastcoin
we're a community so if people want to contribute, graphics, new sites, domains, coding , social media, get involved!

we see min 20 cents FST this year, minimum
FST is such a strong alt, wildly underpriced
