Is anyone else mining on nicehash?
I have two cubes mining there and they seem to be pulling in about $120/week right now...
Thats seems great in compare with Dash calculator result: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBi4vvgr.jpg&t=663&c=KyGGDOcc0Rc9qA) Which is better with another calculator: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FKaRDcPj.jpg&t=663&c=mph1hxum9e21DA) However they are making good profit hmm not sure what is up with cryptocompare in your screen shot there but that seems like a crazy low estimate on their part The lowest payment Ive had from Nicehash over the last three weeks is $110.. they have only been running for three weeks haha ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i shall count my blessings while they last (hoping the ibelink hype was just that..hype)

is there any way to allow ethOS to switch between the coins it can mine automagically?? would be cool...

is there an estimated release date for this mobo?
Well apparently the demo model at Computex burned up day 1 with 8 cards on it, so don't hold your breath ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) hahah okay thanks

They certainly are profitable, some of the batch 1 l3+ have broken even in under a month
The problem is there is a new batch every single month until yours would arrive and all of those batches (and they are big BitMain mass produced batches) are going to whack up the difficulty big time
I think that by the tim August comes around they will be earning pennies on the pound... BitMain just pump them out too fast
This is probably why their August batch is still in stock; not enough people have forecast enough profitability to go ahead and preorder them

The summer is the best! Are your rigs overheating?
Not the rigs the basement gets too hot and the main panel over heats so i have to shut down pretty much half of my rigs some of the rigs lose cards due to heat as well, so I'm constantly restarting some of the problem rigs Maybe just send me half your rigs.. i have a cooler country and will treat them right ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) haha Can you cool the main board?? Fan cooling etc? Lol i love my rigs but the summer heat makes managing them a darn full time job ugh, I got my garage finally set up to migrate most of my miners I'll post some pictures when i have time, its a pretty impressive power setup , cooling I have some ideas but no money to implement anything yet. As long as i have a place to move half my rigs to thats all I care about, tired of the main breaking tripping due to thermal overload. The tricky thing with cooling is the condensation that will occur Of course depends on initial air humidity and subsequent fuel points Could possibly run warm air over a rice or hydrophilic system then after drying its cooled..?

Add sapphire nitro+ to the list
This is of interest to me also
I think they all just have slightly different clock and mem speeds??

How are you classifying this current time as innovator to early adopter? I like the sound of being early but I am just wondering how we are confirming these data?
|
|
|
Until my rigs have broken even I convert 75% to fiat and hold the other 25% then once they are in profit I'll probably hold more like 75 and convert out 25 I think

First mined way back when bitcoin first surged to $250ish then abandoned mining and got on with business for a few years and now now got back into it when it was just under $1000

antminer? rx 470? rx 480?
Anything else?
I've heard there are sites that way
*Fastest time to break even ROI is a measure of total (as the name suggests) Return On Investment Fastest time to break even... maybe something like the Antminer L3+ Batch 1 or 2 but that ship has sailed Maybe the baikal mining rigs, those are due to break even in about 3 months Or as others have said the 1080s Best ROI... really comes down to total monthly yield, minus capital employed, plus scrap value - which is likely to be GPU based hardware since it can be repurposed for gaming and rendering etc after its life as a miner

Energy.
If I could buy energy direct from suppliers or buy solar or wind tech with crypto that would be perfect

I think the established coins would be those like bitcoin, dash, litecoin, etherium, and a few others that run on the X11, script, sha256 and quark algos
Those are all being mined heavily
So I think what the idea would be is to mine the smaller, less mined coins and hope that you can choose the ones that pick up in value in the near future
Ideally you need to purchase an asic batch 1. Before too many are released (I'm looking at you BitMain)
