i've had a go at compiling on unbuntu 16.04 and didnt have a problem, which unbuntu version are you running? and also which libdb? newer version than 4.8 may cause install problems ive heard with other coins, im having a go at get it running on a pi3 in the morning and will post a guide on the discord if im successful, or maybe some version of wine might let you run windows version if you cant get it installed under linux.

most coins have finite supply thats what tends to give them more value, a pos coin can still have a finite amount just reduce the stake rewards so it takes years to get there, this instead is high interest that will pay out constantly causing the value to drop in the end as everyone has to many coins to sell, like a lot of the high interest mn coins released lately

any chance you think this could be botnet or mined in browser as background process like a lot of sites are doing these days, would make sense for such a high hashrate that only seems to be climbing, i dont think any whale could mine this with their own hardware and offset the electricity costs with how much the block reward is, but for anyone with stolen hash, but not enough to compete in btc, or xmr, something like magi would be the perfect one to apply it to.

depends on what your trying to mine on, but ccminer should work for nvidia, and claymore for amd i think, sgminer if your running a balkai

Will the intensity of the mining increase, or is it set to always compute at its current level for android devices? my phone earns the same amount as my pc and it uses virtually no resources, im still able to run boinc which is pretty nice
