If the DPoS payouts by voting for delegate is 5ARK per week right now and the price of ARK went to $20 or $50, would the payouts still remain the same at 5ARK per week?
Yes, probably they will. Top 51 competes to forge, so if you get 4 ark at one delegate or 5 ark at the other, who would you vote for....? Will the delegates have the same amount of ARK to disperse between the voters? Or the amount of ARK forged by the delegates goes down as the price goes up so the delegates will have less to pay out? Daily ark forget stays the same. This means that the yearly interest goes down per year. I expect the market dynamics to come into play here, that means alot of people will be motivated to vote , this means the demand will be high and the reward will likely come down I doubt that.... there will always be competition between the top 51 to get voters so they have to keep the payout interesting for all voters or they will lose their spot in the top 51 and stop forging all together hence losing their own profit too... But I guess time can only really tell!  |

When mobile wallet relase? I saw 98% done on Roadmap site last days when I check it. Its almost done 98% so why dont finished yet ? Many alts rising with btc today but Ark not maybe some news push it to north Ark does not give dates. It will come when it's time. |

I‘m reading this thread since the beginning of 2017, unfortunately my english is not as good as it should be for understanding all the technical stuff. Today I found a small amount of Jumblr on my wallet. Could someone please tell me where this Jumblr came from und what to do with them ? Thanks a lot.
Jumblr is for privacy. For example if you'll need private transactions in barterdex in future. As i understand Jumblr airdroped from swaps. The August 18th, 2017, October 15th, 2017 and last will be January 15th, 2018. So you need to hodl your KMD with privkey to receive Jumblr. Indeed jumblr came from a KMD snapshot and not from BitcoinDark. It was only done once and never will have another snapshot again. Jumblr is use for implementing privacy transactions that also earns dividend from transaction fees collected . The said date above are just for BTCD swapping event . No more jumblr snapshot. Thanks for clearing this! I really hope it will be possible to access my Jumblr as I had my KMD on my Ledger Nano S at the time of the snapshot, further I'm still hoping for an implementation of claiming interest with the Ledger. Me too! Seems like the good people of Ledger are not giving it a priority, though..... not even on the roadmap! Maybe komodo can find someone to fix this for a nice bounty? I don't think that's because of the Ledger guys, as far as I know the Komodo Ledger App was developed by Komodo guys, that's the reason why it's not on the Ledger Roadmap. Correct me if I'm wrong. If so; is this something the komodo team is/ will be working on? It's a shame I'm missing out on interest when I want to have better security for my coins... |

I heard a similar story.. however it seems that there's no real consensus about the exact time/date. The project part is almost done (92%, see the ark website) so looking at the info, the mobile wallet app should be launched before the end of the week. I bought myself a nice stack!

you can see what that human weasal ccr is trying to do. move everyone off bitcointalk to his own personal forum. that way he can silence any investors with serious questions. he first shuts down slack and makes it invite only. then he shuts it down completely and opens up an xby forum for cheerleaders to hoot and holler. xby probably hasn't even started static node testing let alone finish it. it'll probably finish testing sometime in a few months.
the xfuel hasn't even taken off and no new developers have been added. the marketing push has been laughable. this coin needs to start doing something. no wonder the price is low. it's just jackasses pumping and dumping the coin
if you're a new investor id stay off that forum and ask questions in bitcointalk where you're much more likely to get honest answers and feedback. You won't get one sided garbage coming out of the cheerleaders like supremegarbage everythingisgreat biker big boss. they are the ones answering any questions in that xby forum. these idiots are just clowns shilling for the coin.
I think you're a bit harsh, but I do agree that everything should be transparent. I prefer using an open forum over a forum of the coin itself. Purely so outsiders and people who are not on that "private" forum can join the conversation as well. Opening slack again for everyone would be my preference too.... many coins manage it, xby should be able to do so too. |
