67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is Python good for bitcoin apps? on: February 09, 2018, 05:49:14 AM
Hi,

I want know, Is Python good for bitcoin apps?

I want to try make easy bitcoin app and heard that Python is best for coding blockchain..
Is it really? (I choose new stack for code)

or best stack MEAN?

What language you use for coding?

Thanks.
According to me, if you have complete knowledge of even one kind of programming language, you won't find it difficult to understand a code in another language, I don't think it is necessary to learn python from scratch for this purpose.

India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash?
BTC is already at the verge of crashing though there are hopes for it to rise back with a higher rate. Talking about India, though it is banned in India, Indians will find a easier way to regain the money from the cryptocurrency.
PS: this is as per my perspective.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: February 08, 2018, 05:20:02 AM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
The thought of donating to the poor sounds good but again the poor might need a costlier device to gain access to your donation. However if the donation is done through hardcash or through cheques, it would help better.

72  Local / Marketplace (India) / Best bitcoin wallet in India? on: February 06, 2018, 07:12:02 AM

73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is it safe to invest in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies in India? on: February 05, 2018, 05:40:28 AM
When you invest in a stock of a company there is a paper trail and your shares are securely held in your demat account. Crypto tokens, on the other hand, are stored in wallets which aren’t overseen by any central regulatory authority. Meaning you alone are responsible for the safety of it.

If your wallet, platform or an exchange is hacked there is no recourse to seek recompense. There are no investors protection funds, unlike capital markets and, hacks are common. So how do I guarantee the safety of my accounts in this case?
74  Economy / Speculation / Huge hit: Bitcoin drops below $9000 on: February 01, 2018, 08:05:07 PM
Bitcoin price has dipped below $9k, this is the lowest amount in past 2 months.
As per Coindelite Bitcoin Price Index has reached as low as $8932.89, and this happened just after the market opened above $10000.

As bitcoin dropped below $9000 this was the biggest hit since late November 2017. When the price of bitcoin dropped below $9k the estimated figure was close to $8954.13, a dip of roughly 11%.

75  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is bitcoin banned in India? on: January 30, 2018, 05:43:04 AM
They have said that just like Korea bitcoin is not banned in their country nor legal they were just keeping people warned by the risk that associated with bitcoin. Here in our country, bitcoin is not legal as well but they are not limiting the belief of the people who were trying to take this opportunity. A lot of people here were scammed and that is true but that is not the reason why they are not legalizing bitcoin yet.

but what do you think about this Jiocoin? it is said to be launched in sometime! Will Ambani have the permission because I don't think so they are a scam coz they have a big company to back up.
76  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is bitcoin banned in India? on: January 30, 2018, 05:24:42 AM
However, I don't think much effect will happen even if the government bans bitcoin and other crypto currencies in India. Our neighbor Bangladesh has already banned bitcoin, but still a lot of Bangladeshi people are active in this bitcoin market and they are also earning well. Our government doesn't have a massive infrastructure to monitor crypto users. So I believe they will not ban it completely to keep the window open for more tax income. But nothing is confirmed yet and we will have to wait for some more time to get a proper decision from the central government.
So what do you think buddy is mining more profitable or buying some bitcoin and holding it?
