601  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 17, 2016, 04:55:46 AM
Halving can give you good profits but if you really want to get super rich from it then stop thinking of short term and hold it for next 10 years and you will get your answer.

If someone wants to become "super rich" 10 years from now, then he has to buy a lot of bitcoins right now. The bitcoin halving will make the price of bitcoin larger than it used to be. Just like those people who have bought bitcoins when it's still 12$ each that are super rich now, you can also become one of them. Their money has grew a lot than expected. If you're going to buy now @700$ each, then surely, you can make your money grow more than what you expect. You just have to wait for a long time.

That's true and if you have patience to hold it for that long term then you can surely get rich with it as price will be beyond our imagination in future.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 17, 2016, 04:54:05 AM
If you want your money the way it was when you left it, then save it. But if you want your money to become much more than when you left it, then invest it. It is not advised to invest it in some "legit" investment sites out there. Maybe used it as a capital for a business or something that you know will surely grow and wouldn't eventually scam you. Although if you're just going to invest it in something dumb, then you better just save your money.

I think it depends on individual that what level of risk he can afford to take, if he wants to play safe then saving is the best option and if he wants to multiply his money then he need to take risk by investing.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 bitcoin or 10 bitcoins? on: June 17, 2016, 04:51:54 AM
it will be bitcoin only as it is similar to any other currency. Bitcoin as like other currency is a collective noun.

example: we call 1 $ as a dollar and call 10$ as 10 dollar not 10 dollars.

that is WRONG
https://www.englishforums.com/English/WhichCorrectDollarsDollar/cvgxm/post.htm

english is my second language but google tells me that you say 10 dollars.
you say 10 dollar bill. but you say i spent 10 dollars
it is the same as other units of measurement like foot which is 1 foot and 10 feet.

... depends on the context, I would think...

It is my understanding that you would say "gimme 10 dollars" or "I owe him 10 dollars" or "this item costs 10 dollars"... but that you have to say "a 10 dollar banknote" or "a 10 dollar amount is what he got out of it" or "I'm browsing for a 10 dollar item".

source: Internet

In this context, the OP would say "I have 10 bitcoins".
But if the OP had a 10 btc Casascius coin, they would say "I have a 10 bitcoin Casascius coin".

Overall, I think "10 bitcoins" would be the correct grammar, majority of the time.

Yeah if you hold more then one coin then you need to add that extra 's' to it and that would be the correct term to define 10 bitcoin's'.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Does it have a POSITIVE IMPACT on your life? on: June 17, 2016, 04:49:42 AM
For many times bitcoin saved my hunger. Everytime my budget ran out I got something to pull. It is like my piggy bank now where my it is growing by itself and I dont need to break it.

Saving money in bitcoin is really smart thing to do as your saving keep on growing over a period of time and it is also helping us in earning some extra money on regular basis.
605  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: June 17, 2016, 04:47:28 AM
Price is a little high now. Difficult to swallow at this price

Correct better to wait for next few days and see if price falls or not, and if keeps on moving up then will even buy at higher price as halving will show us different and better picture.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 17, 2016, 04:45:52 AM
For most people bitcoin seems to be dangerous. It's online money and people don't fully understand or trust online.
Think about the hacks/ criminals that happen. Most people are just scared.

Half true. Some think that way. But some goes to the internet to enjoy it. They dont want anything to do with another work. They think internet is just for that. Fun and knowledge not working again.

The fact is people hesitate in investing their money into something they really don't know as they have fear of loosing their money and may that is the reason they prefer to stay away from it.
607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: June 16, 2016, 08:51:13 PM
It easily reached this amount a couple days ago so that is good, I think it will rise more this year to the amount of 1000 dollar.
Many people never thought this was possible, I always believed in it to be honest.
But I was fully sure that it will be reached in the month of June and it exact occurred in the month of June that the price of bitcoin reached to $700, and now I am sure that the price will reach to $1000 in this month just before July to arrive.

Yes 1000 usd is achievable before the halving now, and it would be really interesting to see what price we will see by the end of next week may be it will above $800.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your predictions for 2016 on: June 16, 2016, 08:49:38 PM
Its going to be the year for BTC. It has shown a good prosperous now. I can not predict think the price will rebound again as now. This would stay stable. Try working smart and fill your wallet now.

Price will be really higher at the end of the year, its really difficult to predict the exact price of bitcoin but something around $1500 is achievable.
609  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 08:48:00 PM
We are currently at the adoption era of the bitcoin surge, for the time being, let's not get ahead of our selves, and try to enjoy what we have.. unless that is you are not enjoying your job Sad, then it is a different story

I hate my job and still not looking to go full time with bitcoin, I know in Italy is very difficult to find a new job now in this time of crisis in the Euro especially with the Brexit looming and many being in favor of Britain to leave EU, that will further highlight that EU was not a good decision at all and countries like mine and many others only suffered by joining the EU, when before we were a rich country. Still in this phase is a total disaster to go full time in bitcoin and quit your job as not many opportunities to earn that much of bitcoin to replace your daily job at least in EU, if you live in India or other poor country you can give it a try Smiley.

Altough i like my job i would go full time into bitcoin if i got a chance. It's the most fun thing to do ff you ask me.
But i would only do it when I got good guarantees that I would keep my job.

If you are earning good number of bitcoin on monthly basis then I think you can quit your job and get full time into it, but also need to keep the value of bitcoin in mind.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: June 16, 2016, 08:46:10 PM
i would most probably sell all my bitcoins then in order to get as much money as possible for a living

At this stage you cannot afford to sell you coins, it would be better if you find any other source which can help you out in emergency as bitcoin can give you higher profits in future.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: 626 $ what!?!? Halving incoming.. on: June 16, 2016, 08:44:30 PM
the price is going to grow even more in my opinion the price is going to reach something like 1 thousand dollars
This is a very realistic rate for the halving.
[/quote

Yes $1k seems to be realistic now as in last month no one expected that we will reach to this price so quickly but present spike indicates that this price will  be achieved very soon.
612  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 16, 2016, 08:42:57 PM
I am not spending my coins on a daily basis. But at least 2/3 times a month I buy things online.
Sometimes on bitcointalk and sometimes online in the shops that accept bitcoin. So i do spend, but not active.

We all love to spend our coins for buying online stuff but I think we should stop spending now as halving is very near and it will show us some best price of bitcoin.
613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 08:41:10 PM
Actually, i can earning a living with bitcoin my country. The cost of living on my country is quite cheap and with signature campaign and some services i can get a living with it.
yeah it looks like the country is in Asia. where you can live with only $ 100 in one month? was spending very little? and I could use bitcoin for living expenses. I also use bitcoin for living expenses
Actually some people might think its funny but still there are countries in asia where if you can earn 150$ then you can live and not just survive but have luxuries too. So, yeah many people making a living with bitcoins.

If you are earning $150 then it can take care of your only basic stuff, you cannot expect to live luxury life from it as for that you need to earn good amount of bitcoins.

150 is good if you live in easy. You can pay your rent and food, perhaps also clothing. But in western countries you would live on the streets...
If there is a sight of earning 1500 a month with bitcoin, I would not hesitate and do it.

Its not easy to survive even in Asian countries with that amount, as inflation rate is too high so if you want to live comfortable life then that amount is not sufficient.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: June 16, 2016, 08:39:09 PM
i think presently it is not the global currency of the earth becasue so many people do not know any thing about it. but it is look like that in future it may  be the global currency of the world.

Very few people across the globe are aware about the bitcoin and that doesn't make it global currency, but things may change in future when it will be widely used and accepted.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to cash out? on: June 16, 2016, 08:36:48 PM
If I have to cash out my coins then I would prefer to transfer it to my bank account and for that I think localbitcoin is the best place as the traders are trusted and it takes few minutes for credits.
616  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet on: June 16, 2016, 08:34:21 PM
By fair blockchain has been the most popular online wallet, they were one the first so it makes sense.
Recently Xapo and Coinbase seems to be prety solid parties too.

My favourite one is XAPO and after that Coinbase. There was a time when i used blockchain but these days I stick with companies which have a address.
Blockchain can dissapear very easily.

How can you say that blockchain can disappear easily? I don't see any point in it and blockchain is not going anywhere and it has maximum number of satisfied users.
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What year will Bitcoin reach $10,000? on: June 15, 2016, 02:06:34 PM
I do not know when the price is going to hit $10,000 because for me that is just impossible to predict. We have not reached the thousands so to predict ten thousands is pretty unlikely.

That's true that we don't know when bitcoin will achieve that price as its too high and not easy to reach there, we need mass adoption to achieve that price in future.
618  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 15, 2016, 02:05:00 PM
i always try to actively spend my bitcoins but i also always hit a brick wall when i want to spend it because there are few places that accept bitcoin and many of these places aren't even selling things that i want so i am stuck with fiat for now.
yeah sometimes we will have confusion in doing shopping/spending using bitcoin. I think it's reasonable because bitcoin is not so mainstream on the Internet or in the world? I never took a headache it? I always convert my bitcoin to fiat to buy something Cheesy

I am not spending now and that is because I want to hold it now around this time because you already can see now that the value of Bitcoin will be more worth so that is really nice for Bitcoin itself but it is hard to know what will happen in the future but we are all hoping that it will rise for a long time.
The bad thing of Bitcoin is that you cant predict what is going to happen later and that is really bad.

Do not think of too long, try to enjoy this moment and try to grab as much profits as you can, as halving is near now so we should hold our coins till then without spending it.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: June 15, 2016, 02:03:14 PM
Money as debt is the worst system invented ever,

Since there will always be more debt (thanks to interest) than there is actual money in the money supply.

Therefore, financially bankrupt losers are purposely built into the system that has been created.

It's like playing a game of musical chairs, even though in reality there is enough wealth and resources to go around to everyone.

its 100% debt, only new debt can pay off the old debt,

this is why property taxes exist, otherwise u would have

debt free assets,
i have never believed in fiat and i think that i am not the only one because as you can see when bitcoin introduced there where many more people interested into the bitcoin than from the beginning of fiat.

Fiat is useless in compare to bitcoin but the fact is we don't have any other option at a moment as we cannot use bitcoin everywhere  so we need to seek support from fiat.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: June 15, 2016, 02:01:38 PM
I'm really thinking it will stay rising till a certain point and that is when the halving begins, I think it will than lower a bit.
After the halving it will begin rising again.

We saw certain price drop in last two days but it will again start rising in next week, and we may see all time high price at the time of halving but not sure what will be the price after the halving is done.
