Don't get me wrong I don't think GLD is so great, but to me it just looks like you want to avoid feeling like a dumbfuck if the price happens to rise, and are therefore now spreading FUD to try and bring the price down so you can feel good about selling.

Listen kid, I specifically said it's no problem IF you get a mobo which has an extra power connector on the boards next to the PCI-e slots - like the 990FXA-GD65. I'm running three rights with 4 OC'd 7970's in them for two weeks full throttle and no single connector even got lukewarm. The topic you quote was some dude using a non-powered motherboard on top of a piece of wood - now that's asking for trouble. He was just being really really dumb. |

WIndows 7 x64 Ultimate with 7970s needs the plug or kvm. Not true. 2x 7970 was running fine on Win 7 and Linux with no plugs. Logged in from remote through teamviewer. Seriously dummy plugs are something of 5 years ago. All recent drivers/OS's have fixed this. |

If you want to solo mine, put a wallet on a server/pc next to your rigs. Then let your rigs all mine to that same wallet.
You'll need these lines in your config file:
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
Ofcourse 192.168.1.* depends on your local network. If your router distributes 10.0.0.x IP's, it'd be:
rpcallowip=10.0.0.*
Then point your miners to your server.
