601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptotourism - is it evolving? on: October 04, 2017, 12:02:39 PM
I think it will only be applicable to countries widely accepting bitcoin which I really think is a very advanced country in terms of technology and economical aspects to have invested in bitcoins needs a big caital especially in running such businesses.
I think this kind of countries will definitely be a great influence in bitcoin industry.
Good idea by the way.. I have already read about someone here in this forum who traveled with bitcoins only.  Really inspiring .
602  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: October 04, 2017, 10:45:18 AM
Well I still don't know how bitcoins was made. Those who stand as the foundations of bitcoins is very clever. I wonder how altcoins are made and if possible, can bitcoins be upgraded too.
If and maybe bitcoins can handle more transactions with consistent speed and no fees.  Then it's time to push government to legalize bitcoins because local businesses may not take risks when it comes to investments even if they will profit more.

So in short..
Upgrade bitcoins ( if possible. But I know it's risky because it may cause more bugs) just an opinion. Altcoins were one of the resolutions made I guess.
The step for legalisation..
Then push local businesses.
603  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk in a mobile app. on: October 04, 2017, 08:19:28 AM
I think that there are many applications that support Bitcoins. I downloaded one and it's Bitcoin Buzz to keep myself update. There is a feature there directing to this forum. But it is very loggy, I prefer using web directly. Even though I still use the application, through web is much faster.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2017, 05:07:17 AM
My reason for the use of bitcoins is not Monetary. But this feature of bitcoins amazes me. Bitcoin as decentralised currency, gives an opportunity of an income for anyone. In my country, or in any countries, poverty is a big problem. I really think that if bitcoins can not eradicate this problem, it can at least provide something for their needs. But still limited to those who can access.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 04, 2017, 04:56:06 AM
Bitcoin is popular for its use and decentralisation. If transactions for drugs are tolerated, the reputation of bitcoins will be questioned. I think that transactions like this will give more reasons for banning BTC in any country that tolerates this.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: October 04, 2017, 02:22:04 AM
Altcoins will always depend on bitcoins. Not just from its framework but also bitcoin has more stability than any altcoins. Yes altcoins may be profitable than bitcoin in such a short time but I think, if even altcoins gets more popular than bitcoin, it won't be long. They always base everything to bitcoin..
607  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 03, 2017, 09:29:43 PM
I know that the bitcoins philosophy is decentralisation and banks are totally the opposite of the bitcoins concept yet we should bare in mind that bitcoin must have a safe storage especially now that it is very valuable. Well I think that this banks my be the safest place. Some may buy and sell but if they will implement my banks I hope that less fees, because I don't know what's the point of bitcoins in terms of no transaction fees if that would happen.
608  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Philippines Board nagiging social media. on: October 03, 2017, 02:00:26 PM

609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending Bitcoin These Days on: October 03, 2017, 11:53:02 AM
Merchants are not really forcing you to spend your bitcoins. You have the power over your coins. These merchants have good purposes. Imagine if there are no merchants, could you use bitcoins when you are in great need.
Seeing prices go skyrocket without holding bitcoins is depressing in my opinion that is why no one spends.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 02, 2017, 12:47:43 PM
It is impossible to predict prices. We can not say how many are adapting and leaving bitcoins everyday.  Maybe what I can suggest is try to read news more and stay updated. If there are good news I think it will contribute to rise of prices. But if there are bad news like one of what we have experienced, prices went low.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: October 02, 2017, 12:32:22 PM
I will choose both, it is upon the user's use. If the user is using an amount of bitcoin in trading and other transactions needed to earn then it will be effective by using online wallets. But if you will be just holding big amount of  bitcoins then store it in a hard wallet, regrets will never give your bitcoins back. If you doubt security for your bitcoins then use offline wallets.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Ethereum on: October 01, 2017, 10:05:38 AM
Bitcoins are made earlier than erethreum. Bitcoins are built with locks and firmity for secure functions. Unlike erethreum that are built with the framework of bitcoins but with simplicity that is why it has a broader base that can build a bigger market. So what bitcoins lack is present in erethreum.
Although bitcoin can be developed like erethreum, it will be hard to change its strong foundations. Erethreum was made with a tool that unlocks it time to time. That is why there are faster transactions than bitcoins.
But I still I see Bitcoin's future than erethreum although it's possible that erethreum will be as popular as bitcoin.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be a key for us to become successful person? on: October 01, 2017, 02:56:42 AM
I see bitcoin as a negative and positive thing that can contribute to ones attitude, behaviour and perception in life.
Negative in the sense that people are starting to be too much dependent to bitcoin. Too much confident that they have bitcoins and some thinks that it's easy to make money now a days which is very wrong.
Positive if a person see bitcoin as a road to independency. A tool that can teach how to value money because it provides us the opportunity to earn for ourselves.
I think with positive inputs, a person could be successful.
614  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 01, 2017, 02:26:38 AM
I really think that there is more than just gambling. Are you comparing it to gambling or you are saying bitcoin is gambling itself?
We can see in this forum that bitcoin is not just for gambling and can be seen in gambling. Campaigns pays in bitcoins too as well as offering skills for bitcoins. In the future there will be for shopping, restaurants, hotels and etc.Try exploring and bitcoin will mean so much more.
615  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will you do? on: October 01, 2017, 02:16:48 AM
I would do nothing, the cheap price is not going to be permanent. As everyone introduce bitcoin to the world, it will be in wider use and with greater value. I would hodl if that will answer this question.
I just think that for those who can afford to buy bitcoin in cheap value have more chance in earning. While those who really needed it and can't invest anything but wait like me saddens me a bit. Save more guys.
616  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: September 30, 2017, 04:36:36 PM
Firstly, my main goal in using bitcoin is to help my parents finance my studies. Second, when we started to earn there will be a lot of instances that you would want to gift yourself as a job well done or appreciation for the good work which is very healthy and would encourage you to do more. I pamper myself with foods, and some cheap clothes. rest goes to school things.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: September 30, 2017, 03:55:24 PM
As an unique individual there will always be flaws. If expertise is next to perfection, I don't think its possible. Well, in my opinion, with respect to all the early users, I think that even a trained man can commit mistakes at some point. In this forum, we may learn new things everyday, we can read as much as we want, we can join any campaigns, we can trade, gamble and invest but there will always be that time when you lose a couple of it. Those will all fall to experience and it will guide us in every step of the way. With that I think it is close to expert.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin world currency on: September 30, 2017, 03:32:25 PM
We are already experiencing it. Bitcoin is a currency used worldwide depending on how each countries' government implements it. China banned and some countries may too. The main idea is that worldwide currency is huge. Thinking about limited supply of bitcoins yet is is not yet widely used. How much more if it will be implemented to every market. we are experiencing slow and high fees in transactions. Maybe its better to set developments for these kind of problems before even going to a more serious matters that anyone can't barely fix anymore.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: September 30, 2017, 03:06:11 PM
We can not say how will altcoins end. If its going to be more popular than bitcoin or not OR will have a longer life than bitcoins. Altcoins are alternative coins. I have read much about them and the main purpose of its invention is to cover flaws of bitcoins. So the weakness of biitcoins is mainly there strength. But with a reminder these altcoins made are also from the framework of bitcoin itself. A specific altcoin may have a good trait but may be lacking one too. The future of altcoins will be depending also in the usage. Altcoins are very popular in trading and mining because they more profitable than bitcoins. If it will continue that way maybe Altcoins will also have a future, may be close to bitcoin that is.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no role in real world on: September 30, 2017, 06:24:29 AM
I disagree with you Sir, the first reason why Philippines accepted bitcoins is for our OFWs transactions and remittances. Yes we do have taxes for it but it has its purpose in reality.
Secondly, bitcoin is an daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly profit. I think you are just saying it does nothing because you are not yet earning for now Sir. There are so many users here that earned more than what an average employee earns in a month ( with respect ).
And as soon as adaption is in wide range there will be a greater purposes for bitcoins.
