601  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How the fake exchange traps newbies. on: March 21, 2020, 11:28:44 PM
I keep getting a message like this from telegram they use different website but same style, my advice if someone pm you like this "hello, how are you, etc " without stating what is his/her business with you first, I suggest block it right away and remember admin don't pm first.
Some scammer on telegram are very desperate they even created a copy of well knowned group to fool you so tune up your privacy settings so no one can add you on any groups.
602  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Aegis Authenticator, a decent alternative to Google Authenticator and Authy on: March 19, 2020, 02:57:07 PM
Found this from a similar new thread but I decided to comment here instead, Is this authenticator has a search feature? I have been using google authenticator for a long time I got so many websites with authentication so It will be convenient if it has a search feature to find it directly and lessen time to scroll. Anyways I will install this later thanks for sharing.

You meant to say searching the websites you would like to find the authentication code? If that so, they have that feature. Go to Settings > Enable "Search in account names" this will include the account name in the search results you are looking.
Google authenticator is very risky if you don't save the backup keys. But I always save mine at a notepad on Desktop..

I don't think saving backup codes in notepad is a good idea lol
Notepad + and Zip it with a password, Already made a copy on Flahshdrive and sdcard incase something bad happen to my Desktop. That is what I do, How about a suggestion? Do you have one it might help than just laughing without a good suggestion? How about you where do you save yours?
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friday the 13th unlucky for Bitcoin too! on: March 17, 2020, 11:59:17 PM
I apologize but I don't believe in superstitions everything that happens is caused by current bad news that we are experiencing now.
It was unfortunate that we are experiencing this covid19 ahead of the coming bitcoin halving. I don't believe news affects bitcoin price before but I get corrected it really affects like what we are having now. I guess some whales ride the situation and it cause everyone to panic, fuds everywhere but we are fine for sure it will recover soon.
604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency simulator with signals marketplace, for beginners & experts. on: March 17, 2020, 11:44:04 PM
It helps for test trading without risking any amount but I don't recommend trying it on real trading now. The market is very volatile now those signals are not accurate you might end up losing in real trading. We can use this platform just for practice. Anyways, thanks for sharing it here I will gladly try it to improve myself in this field.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The World’s Most Crypto-friendly Countries on: March 17, 2020, 11:34:32 PM
A few years ago I often seeing some crypto Vlogs featuring japan and I am amazed even in their convenience store are accepting bitcoin I guess they are one of the crypto-friendly countries. Recently India unban crypto on their country for sure it will create adoption on their country it will open new investors and enthusiast I guess in the coming months crypto there will be more popular. Following India also South Korea made the same move. And also one of the biggest banks in turkey partnered with Binance.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and KYC on: March 17, 2020, 11:12:57 PM
I noticed the eyes of regulators now are more focused on exchanges than on gambling sites. Because of that some exchanges implemented and require KYC for everyone or restrict some users to register on their platform. For me, there is no really difference from these two it all involves money. When you trade on exchanges it is like gambling or betting sometimes you take profit sometimes you lose. I expect more strict rules will be implemented on the Gambling platform in the future but I hope not I am not really comfortable with KYC.
607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy Bitcoin (since halving is coming) on: March 17, 2020, 10:57:14 PM
Instead of cash why not buy with Credit/Debit cards? A lot of platforms are offering these services. I heard Binance is offering it but since you are in US try Binance US I am not really sure if they have that feature. Some wallet like Wirex, Atomic wallet you can buy there with credit cards but it need KYC and of course, check the rates if you are okay with it, sometimes their rate from current price has a big difference.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mouth work wonders in crypto on: March 17, 2020, 10:45:59 PM
Those influencers are gone they are not effective any more people are smarter now they do their own research no need to listen to these influencers that only care about money promoting scam coins as long as they earned money. Last time I know its only 2017 when there is bullrun they abuse the situation creating some fake hype of a certain project and where are they now? Gone.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 17, 2020, 10:34:50 PM
Thanks for the reminder but these things are given we should not wait for covid19 to do these things we should do it every day. It is very risky now to do gambling stuff personally you might get sick and being infected by others it is better to stay home and just do online gambling for your safety and your family.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 17, 2020, 10:18:09 PM
Good thinking but some of these projects are just only ideas just like bitcoin and have no funds at all but it has been abuse by many people by creating some scam/fraud projects to earn money easily. It is really good idea I just notice that on BNB chain enable to issue a token at least you need 500 BNB and some projects cannot afford it that is why there are only few sh*tcoins on BNB chain compared to ETH. But ETH is the first of its kind so it is normal that is has a lot of users and no need big funds to create a token and BNB chain is just starting. Better check each project legitimacy there is a thread that list decent projects keep an eye on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228629.0
611  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scams revealed on: March 17, 2020, 10:00:52 PM
I will add a little bit to Scam/phishing prevention or protection.
1. Bookmarked important website to your browser
2. Install Ad blockers like uBlock Origin
3. Install phishing protection like Suspicious Site Reporter/MetaCert: Internet Security (these are browser extensions)

Searching is google is not safe anymore, they will give us some fake ads so number 2. is very important. In google play store also they allow some fake apps to be uploaded on their platform so better check the official site for the official android app.

612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: March 17, 2020, 03:42:52 PM
I don't have to think about your question it is very obvious the safest coins to invest in spot trading is Bitcoin but I don't recommend on leverage trading because you might be liquidated in no time If your planning to HODL just store it in your wallet, not on the exchange.
You have mentioned decent altcoins but I don't trust some altcoins right now I go for the best shot which is BTC.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the terms you decide on which casino to play? on: March 17, 2020, 03:05:27 PM
License, reputation, reviews, is the first thing for some users to look into it is important to feel safe when you are playing, you cannot enjoy well and freely deposit big amount if you still have doubts on a particular gambling platform. I choose a platform in which my chances of winning are better like for an instance on sports gambling I prefer sports to any kind of online gambling game.

Yes, that is what I am looking thanks for the reply. Looks like I will migrate now. Google authenticator is very risky if you don't save the backup keys. But I always save mine at a notepad on Desktop but I guess this Aegis Authenticator offers much better options for recovery.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It´s not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 17, 2020, 01:21:40 PM
We can't remove those guys, sometimes even in a family there is a black sheep and always on negative. Let's just ignore them we know what is the right thing to do and we should not be affected by this FUD's, etc. Bitcoin will always be there, you are right bitcoin has been experiencing ups and downs in the past and it is still alive and I believe it will exist for a long long time. I don't recommend trading with leverage right now it is very volatile and you might be liquidated in minutes.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 17, 2020, 12:50:25 PM
The volatility of the market now is very strange, What if you have converted on USDT too soon and the price skyrocket? But it is better than being rekt.
It is really hard to predict which way the market is going right now there is some movement on BTC like $500 or more in just hours. I guess it has something to do with Futures/contract/ leverage trading. I hope there is no manipulation.

618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: March 16, 2020, 11:51:31 PM
I liked both coins but in the current standings, ETH is still the king of the altcoins. In terms of features ETH is much better they have smart contract BNB does not have that feature. Yes BNB is pretty fast right now compared to ETH and less fee. But come to think of it. A blockchain with only a few companies uses is faster, of course, ETH has many users and a lot of DAPPS running consider those things but on BNB chain there are less sh*tcoins than Ethereum.

I guess I know now why there are few sh*tcoins on BNB. Those scam projects can't afford the fees.  Grin

Issue-related fees
Issue token: 500 BNB
Mint Asset: 5 BNB
List Asset: 1,000 BNB
Submit Proposal: 5 BNB
Burn Asset: 0.5 BNB
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it have volume ? on: March 16, 2020, 11:24:59 PM
Yes, you have a point sometimes coinmarketcap shows very promising price increase on a particular coin/token but always check if it is real. Someone can pump it buying small amount at high prices. You can easily pump a coin with no volume coin with that. But always check all exchanges some might have real volume and grab the opportunity to arbitrage.
Traders now are into leverage trading they can earn easily that 400% in 1 day but it is too risky.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus Created by BTC Whales on: March 16, 2020, 11:05:40 PM
And where did you get this theory? At least show us some proof to support your theory or else it will sound like a joke to me.
I guess it is not the virus is the cause of the current downtrend it is the FUD and whales ride on it manipulating the market. Especially on leverage trading where they can earn easily in minutes, The volatility of the market now is unusual charts and indicators do not help you but some say if it is not moving up and down it is not alive.
