Justin Langer and Finch looked pissed when Chahal came as a concussion replacement for Jadeja.  Grin Well it turned out Chahal did turn thing for India today. We are going to see some concussion substitute debate in the cricketing world.

Now Jadeja should get man of the match award and Chahal should receive the award as replacement. Wink

Edit : Lol i guess its first time in the cricket history, where replacement player winning the MOM.

If Jadeja was not replaced, perhaps india would have lost the match. India should include Chahal in playing XI for the next two T20s.

May be watching a simulation game where India is dominating  Cheesy.

Sometimes simulations become reality. India Won  Wink

~snip~

Indians are playing well in the first T20 at Canberra. They are scoring at 8 runs per over and with plenty of wickets left, they will surely place a decent score for the Aussies. I wonder if the Aussie decision for bowling first after winning the toss was right  Huh They should have batted first and put the runs on the board.
You sure that you are watching live game or some highlights?  Grin Grin Indian team is struggling atm and in last 5 overs Aussie took 3 wickets and gave only 25 runs, run rate is under 7.

At the time of writing my post, Indians were on top. Scoring at 8 runs per over on Aussie pitches after the end of 11 over isn't bad ?

After that, the Indians started losing wickets quickly but still managed to score 161, which is decent in these conditions.

After a disappointing ODI series where Australia completely dominated in the first two matches the T20 starts today, India has a good team who performed really well in the IPL and i would like to see Sanju Samson getting an opportunity and i wished to see him playing the ODI but he did not get the opportunity. Expecting a run fest just like the ODI and i expect the team batting first will have the advantage.

India is definitely a better team as far as T20 is concerned and their players have the experience in playing in IPL. But let's not forget the fact that most of the Australian players are also part of the IPL. I am not expecting any whitewash with the T20 series. It is going to be much more competitive when compared to the ODI series, and I would even say that India is having the advantage.

This is now a common scam and you will see many people impersonate to be the trusted person to scam people. This is everywhere on social media and also on youtube etc.
The rule of thumb is that CryptopreneurBrainboss or any famous/trusted person will not contact you first. Anyone contacting you first and ask for money surely will be a scam.

India won the match by 13 runs. The credit should go to Pandya and Jadeja. They scored a lot of runs during the final overs, to get India to 300 plus. When the 5th wicket fell, no one would have imagined that India would end up with a total of more than 250-260. Also, credit goes to Natarajan, for picking up two important wickets in his debut for the national team.

This win was much needed for the Indians to keep up their momentum for the rest of this series. They won a good match by a small margin and this will lift their morals. The ODI series , however, belongs to Australia as they won it by 2-1.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 29, 2020, 11:52:55 AM
Shikhar and Mayank was playing with confidence but ended up losing the wickets. I guess there’s zero chance left unless captain VK turns into Hardik Pandya now  Cheesy But that's unlikely to happen.
At the end of 17 overs, India scored 109 runs by losing 2 wickets. If the Indian team does not lose wickets very quickly, we will see a competitive match. Because there are some great batsmen in the Indian squad. India need 281 runs off 198 balls.
Scored 185 at the end of 29 overs still 126 balls left But need 206 so the equation turning into T20 standards, only India batsman looking in good touch is Virat likely to post another century under his stats in this match.KL Rahul and Virat in the middle now still Pandya is out there so if they score at 9 runs oer over then they can win this match.

Can india score 130 runs on the last 10 overs and save the match ? This is too difficult target but india still have six wickets in hands. Few good overs with 15+ runs can change the direction of the match. Can Pandya and Rahul become the hero for the indians today ?
I don't think so India can win this match. India need more 102 runs in just 38 balls with 5 wickets remaining. KL Rahul is gone for 76 . Another win for Australia on the way.Australia is really dominating in this series .

India require another 72 in 26 balls, though it looks very difficult for India to win it but alteast they would lose by less margin this game compared to first. Also, everyone did contribute from bat though Virat if could have completed his century things probably would have being different and also not to forget Rahul superb innings of 76 with 5 sixes.

It does not matter if India lost by few runs or a big margin. It will result in the loss of the all important one day series against Australia. That would be a big upset for them.
610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: November 29, 2020, 11:39:26 AM
what trading tips that actually worked with you so far?
and by worked i meant that you are making profit rather than losing money ...
PS: buying a long time ago is not a trading tip

Buying for long term is only for those who are not traders and want passive income. They just buy the coins and keep them in their wallet and hope for the price to grow.
Traders however make more profit than the holders. I mostly check the trend and take the moves according to the trendline. If you take your trade after breakouts, those trades are most successful.

I haven't watched the match yet but with those posts, a draw? who did ever expected that to come lol.

If that's the result, that was surprising.

So this means that those who bet in favour of Tyson or Roy Jones have lost the bet ? Only a few would have bet on the draw.
Bookies must have made a lot of profit from this fight which ended in a draw. Right  Huh

614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: November 29, 2020, 08:17:25 AM
I believe a lot of people are putting a lot of faith in XRP to reach $ 1 in 2020, which is quite possible since the recent crypto market is in an uptrend, so XRP will also follow that trend, growing with the series of good news about Ripple recently so I also think XRP will hit $ 1 soon this year.

XRP needs one more pump to reach close to 1 dollar. Ripple has done the breakout recently and its seems that i can reach 1.30$ within short term.
However i will suggest that if you are in profit, then keep booking some profits at higher highs.
615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 29, 2020, 06:42:26 AM

Besides, the only thing you need to trust to know who won the election is a calculator.

Accept it or not, but Biden is the winner of the USA elections on statistics and everyone has to accept it. Few sportsbook may take more time but eventually they will have to pay to those who have bet for Biden. There is nothing to worry about, just a few more days before every sportbook will settle this bet.

I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions or there daily activities even when it faster and easier they still not accept or permit it to there life, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. How can we erase the negative thoughts of people over bitcoin? Nobody has any negative thoughts over dollars or there various currencies, We need to think about it.

Dollars and other fiat currency are already being used primarily for the transactions and everyone understand and accepts them. Bitcoins are not legal in many part of the world  and also not everyone knows about it. Also since its value is non-stable, people do not want to risk their money in volatile currency.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: November 29, 2020, 04:11:43 AM
Isn't bitcoin in front of us and we are using it regularly? So how it would be anonymous? We can say Bitcoin creator is anonymous. We don't know who is behind that, still, they are anonymous. Bitcoin codes or transaction details aren't anonymous means Bitcoin isn't anonymous itself. But as a user, if you want to use it anonymously, then you can use it. If you care about your privacy then no one can reveal you but you should know all the technical things how you can use anonymously. It fully depends on you how you are going to hide yourself to stay anonymous.

If you have bitcoin is desktop or hardware wallets, then no one will know who is the owner of these bitcoins. All the transactions for bitcoin are done without being known who is the sender and receiver. However, if you have bitcoin stored on online exchanges and you have done KYC on those exchanges, then your transactions can be traced anytime on demand.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is live betting better than betting in advance? on: November 28, 2020, 04:34:56 PM
I've been experimenting with betting for some time, but I must admit that I consistently avoid live bets. It's very annoying to me that the odds are changing fast, and that while placing a bet you're likely to see the odds changing again right in front of you, and then you have to accept the new ones before you can proceed. I also prefer to bet in advance because it gives more time to think and make calm informed decisions, whereas live bets put additional stress to the process, and I believe it makes the choices more emotional rather than rational. Then again, it might become way more obvious who's going to win the match after it started because you've already seen how the teams are doing today.
I placed a small low-risk live bet on Sportsbet.io today to see through the process, but I don't think I'll change my habits:

What about you? Do you prefer live bets or not? Why?

I personally also believe that betting in advance is a piece of mind only if you are winning. In case your team is losing, you would never be in a clam state.
Live betting is more technical in nature but it can give you better results since you can change your decisions based upon the team performance in the current match.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 28, 2020, 04:19:22 PM
https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/10471/argentina-raises-online-gambling-tax-to-5

Apparently Argentina just raised their gambling tax to 5%.
Quote
The Argentine Chamber of Deputies has passed a law that will increase the online gambling tax rate from 2% to 5% in 2021. The new law was added to the National budget proposed by Economy Minister Martín Guzmán. The tax will apply to any online betting transaction. There’s also a 10% rise for the companies that operate in low-taxation countries.

Apparently the industry was unregulated for a long time and the government now decided to go for it since they will aid in the future stability and improvement in the financial situation.

The industry according to them apparently is able to get 2.4 billion dollars worth of revenue and which is inclined to help the country , 95% of the tax is going to go to the province.

What are your thoughts on this ??

Is this good/bad , how would we be able to cope up with the governmental bodies increasing the gambling tax thus shutting down the small business causing problems for the long run.

- it was a little sudden to increase it to almost double. The government never even helped the industry for the sake of the argument.

Most probably taxes are increased because of the pandemic and government need more funds to run the economy. Most of the governments are providing free treatments for covid19 and therefore they need to increase the tax in various other fields such as gambling industry. I think people should comply to their laws and accept these changes in the tax.

well, that was fun. the questions seem to be pretty easy but are hard to answer if you don't wander around the forum. are you gonna add more difficulty?

I think i am late to the party because the code mentioned no longer works on kahoot.it site.

However, was there any prize for the winner who answered the most correct answers ?

you don't need the code anymore. Halab posted another link since the first one had some issues regarding the questions not being shown. also, you can see the ranking after finishing the whole quiz.

It's here : https://kahoot.it/challenge/08080508 (I didn't try it with TOR).

Look like i am again late ot the party.  Sad
When i open the quiz with a new link, there are no more spots left. I will try my luck next time when @Halab will come up with another quiz.  Smiley
