601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 18, 2021, 01:38:57 PM
The truth is whether we say these things a hundred times and over, some investors will still panic any time the price dips even when they too have seen from history how Bitcoin has recovered from the bottom after price corrections in the past. I guess it is nature but as long as it doesn't really affect what happens at the end of the day, that's fine.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: May 18, 2021, 01:28:09 PM
We all know that dogecoin is on a constant pump because of the impact of Elon musk, one of the most influencers billionaire of the cryptocurrency industry. The reason why dogecoin was termed a meme coin is because it was created as a joke, there's really nothing substantial or of value that is performed by the project.
You are right with everything about Dogecoin, we cant really say what the project is about except being a meme coin that was meant to joke on the real cryptocurrencies but unfortunately, Elon Musk has succeeded in overhyping Dogecoin which is obviously overpriced to me, and secondly, Elon is really no Crypto Influencer IMO, he might be a billionaire that happens to make some profits off crypto but certainly not a crypto Influencer.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 18, 2021, 01:06:21 PM
I know people don't probably want to hear this but I seriously don't think we are going to see the 64k-65k usd price point for bitcoin again anytime soon.
May be but if Bitcoin is able to get back to or above $48-51K then it is likely that it will continue up to that target but as it is now that is going to be some hard Bulls work to get Bitcoin back up there from this current $43k+ position.
604  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: May 17, 2021, 08:22:11 AM

Apparently, their stance flipped once more.

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1394170030741413888?s=21

Until later, when we will discover they actually increased their BTC stash.
It's an unregulated market, after all. We don't know anything about Tesla's total position, derivatives included. Even if I strongly doubt they are overall short.

This is so crazy right now with Elon Musk, it looks like he can completely influence the BTC price on its own. I am not trusting it anymore, how can you completely change your mind on Bitcoins withing a few months? Nothing really changed, it was always electricity intense to mine bitcoins. But using FIAT currency also costs a lot of energy - just by using all the ATMs around the world a lot of energy is consumed, they need lights 24/7, security, storage, resupply, etc. Who can actually verify that nothing is being sold, or he is not buying new coins after sending the BTC price 20% down? This feels like manipulation and should be investigated in my opinion.
Even though I agree with you on this, but who is going to do that? Investigate and perhaps punish him for manipulating the cryptocurrency market. Is the crypto space under regulation now? I believe that these are some of the issues and he knows he can do whatever and get away with it that was why he acted that way and like you said, I too want to believe that there are other aspects of the economy that consumes even more energy than what is said for Bitcoin.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A list of Pump and Dump tokens. on: May 17, 2021, 08:06:53 AM
To be honest, the whole cryptocurrency space right now is looking suspicious like a pump and dump to me. If someone can make a tweet and that greatly influences any cryptocurrency to have a huge shift in price both upward when the news is favourable and downward if not, and obviously whether they agree to it or not, must have definitely made huge profits from the process, to me that's a text book definition for a pump and dump Angry
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A common enemy in the crypto world--Elon Musk! on: May 17, 2021, 07:53:27 AM
I hate him! Angry

This is market. Price goes up and down.
You are right and we understand this but that doesn't mean that Elon did not try to manipulate the market because it is free space which is my biggest concern here. How could he with his so called intellectuals not understand how and what made Bitcoin to start this kind of Fud?
Yes people will be able to make money on the down side of the market but this don't apply to all and Elon musk cannot say with Sincerity that they did not sell off the Bitcoin he bought weeks back before he made that tweet.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will break $1000 soon. What are ways for BNB holders to earn free money? on: May 17, 2021, 07:38:59 AM
I have $20K worth of BNB and I dont want to sell it yet. What are ways for me to earn some free money out of these BNB? Someone said I can go mining or farming but I am not so sure of it? Is it safe? He said I can check Nashcash (https://nashcash.fi/#/home) and try its free-ming pool which will be started soon. He told me it is quite a solid one as he knows the team. I do trust this friend but I am still a bit worried. What should I do? Any other ways to earn free money?

I urge you not to go mining, maybe farming is good but says about safe, Nha, holding will be safer than the two options.
BNB is one of the toughest coins now in crypto along with BTC and ETH. If you saw a good profit at this time have nothing to do but just to hold, then there is no reason have to change it as these mining and farming couldn't give you a good profit but huge expenses especially for mining.
That your friend says Free mining, don't trust him. It is a trap, why not do mining on his own?
I agree with you. I do believe even when I didn't have that much amount worth of BNB after I invested, I simply HODL my BNB in Binance Vault and earned some small amount of other cryptos but the most important was that I made a lot of profits just for HODLing. I am not a fan of other kind of crypto farms where you could either stake or mine with your crypto assets since I believe there are highly risky and I dont what to take such kind of risk.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will grow in the next six months on: May 16, 2021, 06:49:28 PM
Just another market presumptions and could be a sort of optimism. To recover in six months?
Should I have to believe that? Well, it could be possible but base on the previous bear season, it takes 3-4years before it recovers and I think we need to wait for this after the halving event.

It is really hard to make a conclusion that we are going to face bear season. Because if we take a closer look at the market chart and analyze it, I could say that we are still far from the bearish period. $48k is still a high price and is still sustaining for several days without dumping so hard below $45k.
Exactly, and what if all this that is happening is to actually shake off paper hands so that the real investors can accumulate more before the next Bull market takes off to $100K? I do believe that bitcoin has really held on to around that $45k+ price and if we were really in the bear market, I presume it would have gone down below that with all the negative attacks thrown at it.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: May 16, 2021, 06:24:59 PM
Hello Everybody, Today i received a mail from Yobit on my Inbox and i see the massage was very interesting. I can Earn 2% Daily interest for my Bitcoin.  If i deposit One Bitcoin on their Exchange,  then i can Earn daily 2% interest for my Bitcoin.

This is Possible?  Daily 2% interest for Per one Bitcoin, this is Really very good profit.  But i think something have wrong. We can lost our Bitcoin for this Offer, it maybe a trap, becouse if you invest one Bitcoin,  then you can Earn daily 2% from your one Bitcoin.  That means you can Earn One Bitcoin Between Two month. And this is not possible, never possible,  so Be aware and Don't Invest your Bitcoin on Here.

All Yobit exchange user already Received this Massage on their Mail. But i Don't know that, it will good or Bad for their User. Maybe have some strong rules of this offer and the Team don't share any rules with us. I just share my little opinion with you and Don't know Yours Opinion and Decision, Before accepting any Investment  plan of yobit must check their Term and condition. but be Aware.
Naturally, most newbies especially would believe this is an exchange and a more likely reason that it would be true but with my last incident with another exchange, I understand how some can't be trusted and for an offer like this, it sound too good to be true, I wouldn't go for it.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you guys use bitcoin for? on: May 16, 2021, 06:15:33 PM
Basically for me at the moment is purely for speculation/trading. Most of the stores I buy stuff from being it online or within the community do not really use bitcoin at the moment and I have not come across anything that might make me spend my Bitcoin directly other than trading.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money? on: May 15, 2021, 06:53:58 PM
Both fiat and bitcoin has its own advantages. Fiat can easily be used anytime and now that online wallets are relevant you don't need to pay in person, in the other hand bitcoin offers more versatility it is fast and can be transferred around the world within seconds and it is also transparent, the blockchain really eliminates some threat such as being replicated.

If its a daily transaction having fiat still is better, but in terms of saving and moving your money  bitcoin is a lot better; if I were to ask I would rather compare Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies to banking since it would make more room for discussion.
True that. With all that has been said about Bitcoin/Fiat, I believe that both will continue to serve their purpose in human life. First pike you mentioned has its advantages still when you look at our every day transactions that we still can't do with Bitcoin but when we look at the wider picture of what Bitcoin offers, then we might say Bitcoin is better but both still have it's strength and weaknesses so really don't like comparing both.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: May 15, 2021, 06:37:08 PM
The world without bitcoin is the same as before. Banking system will become more and more significance in the life of the people and there is no competitors. Also, without bitcoin now that we are currently undergoing financial crisis and pandemic is really difficult because this time bitcoin is a great help for everyone who are using it.
I am.a strong supporter of Bitcoin and will always be but to be frank, how many of us actually uses Bitcoin for our day to day transactions in our regular grocery stores? I want to believe most people here are in Bitcoin for the trade for profits whether long term or short term and this is the most important aspect of Bitcoin to most and not that Bitcoin has brought good competition to Banks as most will like to portray.
In the world without Bitcoin, we wouldn't have bothered because we wouldn't know what Bitcoin is, like when we really didn't know what bitcoin is before and everything was normal.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's hard to sleep because of thinking about something on: May 12, 2021, 09:16:53 AM
Worried about missing out on valuable moments to profit from short-term trades in easily-pumped altcoins.
Many people say short-term trading is too time-consuming, and it turns out to be true
How to deal with a situation like this, can you guys give me suggestions and input?
It is, I tried it too and you have to give it as much time as possible, constantly looking at what is happening in the market it terms of price actions. Since I have decided to do more of a medium to long term, I am more calm and relaxed and I believe I have lost less that I was doing short term trading.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tom Brady changes his twitter profile pic to Laser Eyes on: May 11, 2021, 05:05:19 AM
I guess Bitcoin has proven to be the next big investment option for every one irrespective of their carrier so I believe Tom Brady is definitely tell us that he is jumping into the crypto arena too whether it is direct Bitcoin Investment or whether it is NFT, crypto is where you want to be going Forward.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in bitcoins for future kids on: May 10, 2021, 01:38:58 PM
Most people feel disappointed because they did not buy and store bitcoins in the past, where they doubted and also thought the same things as you now, you need to know that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase from time to time, so invest from now on, we just have to be patient and see the right opportunities when buying it.
You are right. I believe any time you invest in Bitcoin is the right time only that you might want to further want to maximize profit earned by waiting to buy when the price has dipped. I think some people will think that the price is too high to invest now but when you see what it comes to in the future, this would have been a normal price.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 10, 2021, 01:30:15 PM
I'm now all in BTC and haven't sold a bit since 2013. I have a few Litecoins left somewhere but too few to mention.

I know putting all eggs in one basket is not very wise but I don't feel like investing in anything else right now. Is this a risky move? Maybe yes, maybe not.

I plan HODLing more, might sell a small percentage around November when odds say BTC might boost like crazy.

What's your plan?
I dont have much BTC but I wish I did and Investing all in Bitcoin for me is not a problem. The only reason I didnt invest everything on Bitcoin is because the bag is small it would be more nicer to also put more of the funds on Alts and rack but the time for all in Bitcoin will come.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 09, 2021, 08:02:19 AM

It’s the best financial advice, covid is the marketing keyword to remind you, if you don’t spend every last penny in the wallet, you can never have a chance to spend that again. Spend until you drop you plebs!

That's Coooooooooooool Cool
So which part of it is cooool? Did the OP confirmed that he has covid and he is going to die hence he wants to spend all his money before that happens?
Even if you did confirm a case like that, dont you think you have some loved ones that you would like to leave some for?
I dont really think that's a good advice because either way, you dont know what the next hour holds so you cant just squander all that you have just because there is a pandemic.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: May 09, 2021, 07:46:46 AM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX

I hope others will learn from this
Yeah I guess this has happened to some few investors. It is important to always follow the social medial of the crypto projects you have invested in to get updates on whats is going on with the projects. Especially this issue of coin swaps i have witness a couple of cases where after a long time of swap some people later coming up to swap their coins because they didn't follow up on them for a long time.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: May 09, 2021, 07:37:10 AM
having a conversation with a friend today , he was asking me if he should sell or hold a coin. i didnt give a straight answer, i just told him the project is a good one that can do well but if you are willing to wait then you can hold but if you need some money then you can sell off. he then replied that he will wait for an additional 25% increase before he would sell off. i think i tried my best to let him make his final decision himself. is there any better way to do this? if it were you, how would you respond to this. ??

Frankly speaking I believe I would have looked at some option I would advice myself on before I decides to hold a coin or sell it of.

The reason i bought in the first place was to make profit, like one of the coin I am currently HODLing, I have taking profits 3 times already why, because I have made more than 8x my initial investment on the coin plus I needed money and still continue to trade and increase whats left.

If the coin is not worth hodling for a long time, I would cash out completely so you dont end up losing what you have gained already.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? on: May 08, 2021, 10:01:58 AM
Bitcoin has often been proclaimed to be "digital Gold" since it shares many similarities to the precious metal we know and love today. Yet, not everyone find Bitcoin to be quite an attractive store of value. Despite Bitcoin and Blockchain tech's success, Gold is still used as a sort of "hedge" against inflation. Up to this point, Gold's market cap is much bigger than Bitcoin's. Things might change in the future if popularity continues at an upward trend.

This makes me wonder, which of the aforementioned assets are better as a long term store of value? Is it Bitcoin, Gold, or both? Why do you think such asset is better? Do you think at some point in the future Bitcoin will replace Gold? Or will Gold eventually adapt itself to the digital era (tokenization of Gold)? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much Smiley
As a store of Value, I would do both. Even though I believe in Bitcoin and I also understand that it is more likely for my investment to double other a shorter period of time than my investment in Gold, I would still invest in gold just for its stability and has been a generation long accepted global store of value.

So tokenization of Gold, wouldn't that make it a cryptocurrency?
