I would be interested, but they will never ROI at $40-$50 each.  Info you can come down some I would buy them all.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. To ROI at 40-50 a unit you'd have to be one of these shady altcoin makers who instamine their creations.

Changes will be pushed to github in the morning, with the linux release to follow shortly thereafter.

i'm working on a revamp and relaunch of the opensourcecoin website with a block explorer and realtime transaction view.

ive had good ROI with my investments in TEK so far. Nothing is a sure thing in this market, but TEK has been very good to me.

606  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Class action lawsuit against Coinbase, inc on: June 25, 2014, 10:50:19 PM
The only thing i would like to sue them for is for the vulnerability in their system that led to my email address and legal name being discovered with hundreds of others and posted on pastebin, occuring on April the first of this year.

Unfortunately, they resorted to making your account inaccessible shortly there after unless you clicked "I agree" on a legal document saying you agreed to never participate in a class action lawsuit against them.

Anyone with half a brain realizes that this is extortion, and you can still sue the pants off of these ahem people, but be prepared. They have much more money to spend on legal council than any of us do.

Other than this singular instance where i feel they are ultimately responsible, i treat most of these posts in this thread as the fud that they are. Coinbase has never scammed me and i highly doubt they ever scammed anyone in this thread either.

Its true that their fee's are high, however this is merely the free market since they are the last remaining US based exchange.

 Their fee's are still cheaper than Campbx's which were simply outrageous.

All in All, if they offered to compensate me for their negligence in patching the vulnerability that ultimately lead to the revealing of my name and email address, i would gladly withhold participation in any suit against them. This is america and money talks.

I never had to press a button saying "I agree".

Were you on the list of leaked email/usernames? it was only a handful of users about 1300 in total. I realize this could possibly make me look like a liar since according to you, a user not on the list you never were prompted to agree to the amended terms of service, but i am not lying. check the terms of service, you will see they added the new section about not participating in a class action lawsuit. They removed the vulnerability finally, but not until refusing to pay the hacker who found it and refusing to fix it, leading to them having their asses handed to them by said hacker occuring on or near "April Fools Day".

Well, I was on the list, but if its on the TOS then there is nothing you can do about it.

Thats a matter of opinion actually. There have been several cases where companies have tried to cover their asses in a similar manner, only to have their terms of service torn to shreds in court. I'd wager that Coinbase's latest amendment doesn't hold up in court when the context is shown as to how that terms of service amendment came about, and how they got users to accept it through a threat of withholding access to user accounts.

Oh man people are actually paying for shares of this? Really? Another POS (Piece of Shit) PoS-only coin? 4 days of IPO purchases and distribution? I wonder which scam this dev just finished up before starting this one. Silkcoin, perhaps? Yellowcoin?

if there are people actually buying the shares, its only a select few people, probably with the money to blow. other than that, its sockpuppets, and fake investors.

611  Economy / Services / PHP/CSS/Jquery developer Looking for work. on: June 25, 2014, 02:01:58 AM
Hi, you may know me from my time spent working on OpenEx. You may also remember that the product i delivered was subpar and very unacceptable. As a result of the closure of the exchange, i now owe about 10,000 dollars at the time of investment worth of bitcoin to 20 or so investors. I have been working very hard for the last 3 months improving my skills, and i am close to being able to relaunch OpenEx.

I will display a small showcase of my skills here, as well as a link to my stackoverflow profile. I am looking for small jobs in php, jquery, or css/html so that i can begin working on paying off the investors who got the brunt of the demise of OpenEx. I feel very responsible for this. If you are willing at all to give me a shot, even on a trial basis i will work very hard for you and or your company.

I have grown familiar with two sets of front end developer frameworks:
Bootstrap and Ink Interface Kit(http://ink.sapo.pt)

my stackoverflow profile
http://stackoverflow.com/users/2401804/r3wt

live demo of OpenEx current version

Here's a few code snippets and/or live examples of sites i am actively developing.

An ajax Profile Picture and Profile Information Update. (jquery,php,ink ui kit)

jquery
Code:
//the profile fields form
$('#profile-up').submit(function() {
var queryString = $(this).formSerialize();

var d = JSON.parse(data);
for(var i = 0; i < d.length; i++)
{
if(d[i].type == 'success')
{
$('#'+d[i].message+'').val(d[i].update);
notify('Your '+d[i].message+' was succesfully updated','false');
}
if(d[i].type == 'error')
{

}
}
});
return false;
});

//the image form
$("#image-up").submit(function(){

Spoetnik, in the interest of the truth, i have some commentary in regards to TIX:

yes, mullick was the dev of TIX and he did upload it to github. While this statement looks bad in and of itsself, there is a backstory here. First of all, at the time mullick was still an unpaid employee for cryptsy, volunteering his time as a chat moderator. Second of all, he only dev'd tix after several other dev's declined taking the job from Spots. Mullick had no further involvement with TIX. His role was simply to compile and upload it to github and keep his mouth shut.

In my closest estimation, you don't have a leg to stand on in regards to this point about TIX, but the rest of what you said was very compelling. I am not close enough to the situation at cryptsy to have any knowledge whatsoever whether any of these allegations  are true or false, but i have heard rumors of a Cryptsy Employee who made altcoins in his spare time then leveraged his position on the staff to get them listed. I also heard the same rumor with the twist that Shakezula had been paid to make a string of altcoins for cryptsy. I heard the same rumor again, only this time it was Paul himself who made the coins. Honestly i don't believe any of it.

Also, the whole deal with you and iGotSpots. that was dumb. You would cry on and on for hours instead of ignoring him. The mods got tired of helping you because you were becoming a problem. Its not like they never reprimanded him for calling you names and attacking you. It went both ways. You never could let it go. It was as if you wanted iGotSpots to kiss up to you and apologize in the chat, making a grand spectacle so everyone could see the magestic swan you are. cry me a river man. He gave you every oppurtunity to let it go, and you just couldn't do it. No one has time to baby sit you, and thats probably why the Staff gave him the benefit of the doubt. He would walk away but you never could do the same.

Less than 800 blocks to halving the block reward ;-)

Cryptsy is not needed as they are like dead compared to mintpal, polo and bittrex... mintpal would be great for big volume!

lol. that's hilarious

i don't always mine shitcoins, but when i do i hold others responsible for the failures of said shitcoin. get off the mods back and go gripe at the dev of colbert coin... oh thats right...

I never mined it. And what I sent it, it was dust, but when I sent it, it was a 15x arb which is not the point at all. Depositing and withdrawing many times a day has led to many wallets with issues at the same time that of course are ignored when brought up like the blockchain is lying..and not just shitcoins (which aren't they all?)

The best part is when the coins lose 5,10,15x their value as they are hung up on their end. Who eats that?

Don't list supercoin, but list colbert and keep it listed. That was their decision and they charge the user for it to work correctly
...oh that's right.

Charge me for a burger I order then give me a grilled cheese and see what happens.
It is the principal.

I guess you just grovel to your table and eat that grilled cheese.

fair enough, i will concede to you the point. They should atleast make a statement instead of leaving you and others in the lurch.

im about to cry.. i sent 5000 razorcoin to a ryecoin address... please someone help me

Hey, Poloniex wallet manager here.
The addresses are compatible, however, the private keys are NOT compatible. I've fixed a similar issue for a user before, and will give this my best effort to get it fixed for you. If you'd like to stay in touch, email me at tf2honeybadger@poloniex.com and I'll give you updates as I have progress.

Maybe you could fix the broken wallets on poloniex first instead of trying to steal from someone else that was already helping?
don't you have some modding to do?

They will not be able to solve the issue as soon as it hits the blockchain and is included in a block, because it will already be in a Poloniex wallet. I was informed of this particular issue by a Poloniex moderator. I do not expect or need any bounty for this, as it is part of my job to work on these issues.
wait, aren't you a poloniex moderator? dumb post is dumb?

No, I'm the wallet manager now. I used to be a moderator, though.

you can ask poloniex to import the private key from the ryecoin wallet to the razorcoin wallet. it will crash the wallet during the import because the private key format will be slightly wrong, but when you restart the wallet the coins will be there. it will produce a valid, identical address.

Umm... since the privkey is not compatible... would this not lock those coins from them ever being able to send them... since the privkey can never validate the wallet transaction?

i imported an altcoin(the sha256 coin) privatekey into bitcoin(hung the wallet for about 20 minutes. when i killed it and reopened it, voila the missing coins were there.)
