601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: October 13, 2020, 10:53:26 AM
Hello, according to the website: blockchaincenter.net, these cryptocurrencies are most searched among cryptocurrencies:
1.  Bitcoin (80,8%)
2. Ethereum (14%)
3. XRP (8%) followed by Litecoin (4,7%), Bitcoin Cash (2,7%), IOTA (2,5%), Monero (2,1%), Tron (1,8%), Dogecoin (1,8%) and Cardano (1,5%).

They processed information based on Google Trends.

When you compare it with the market cap, then where is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, EOS or Binance Coin?  Shocked

BSV, EOS and Binance coins gained popularity very lately, but majority of the people started loving ETH, LTC and Doges earlier.
As XRP's introduction also made a noticeable change in the market, so many cryptocurrencie traders started using it in the earlier stage.
And about Bitcoin? We all love it because of it's high price.
So we shouldn't question about the top 3 searched cryptocurrencies.

603  Economy / Gambling / Re: best crypto dice site for reward systems? on: October 13, 2020, 02:40:35 AM
OP, the term "rewards" can be defined as many ways.
If you are referring to Freebies or rains or Roll Hunts, then CoinDragon is the best place.

Just by remaining active on the chat, you can make upto 20k Satoshis per day(almost 2$). Moreover they don't have a Minimum Limit, so you can withdraw just any amount.(Just make sure, you can cover the fees). Bitsler was also doing some Bounty Rolls earlier. I don't remember if they are still doing it or not.

The second type of "rewards" can be considered as weekly competitions.
In this case, Both Stake and CoinDragon are considered to be the mastermind. They het enough recognition about the contest due to their uniqueness of Competition.
You can Check their forum and Blog to know about the Competitions weekly.

Hope this helps you OP.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin logo on: October 12, 2020, 11:55:39 AM
https://decrypt.co/43923/bitcoins-logo-the-story-of-the-big-orange-b

did not saw the topic about bitcoin logo, as it is now defined, and this article provides history of bitcoin logo, created on this forum
since many members were not on the forum at that time (me included), it is a good article about history of the logo and getting to know better how the logo is created

what do you think about logo re-branding, or Bitcoin need a symbol and does not need a logo, since it is a decentralized currency, not a brand?

It doesn't matter a lot.
Untill and unless it harms someone's religion or privacy state.
And according to me the current logo of Bitcoin is pretty deserving for the coin.
As of now the current logo has set a well strived impression on every Bitcoin lovers mind.
So it's pretty impossible to recreate this same impression by any other new logo.
Hope this helps you Op, to understand about this topic a more easier.
605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky Ruby Casino & Resort Now Open on: October 12, 2020, 05:18:38 AM
This post tells us many enjoyable things for us. I got interested in this post as I also love to go casino and bars. Today I was feeling some restless and needed a thai body massage centres in my locality. Then I searched on nearbyall.com website where I got a number of such centres. Here I get all these massage parlours along with mobile number and distances. This site is really awesome.

Okay that's a cool state of mind.
But why did you mention about this here in this post?
Do whatever you like, why to bumping this old thread from 2015?
I guess you want to Promote the service website which you mentioned above in your post.
But this is a lame way of Promotions, and that too in a wrong you.
Soon your messages will get deleted here.
606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: October 11, 2020, 10:29:47 AM
Nothing is risky, until and unless you have the capabilities to bear losses.
Coming to Bitcoin, then it won't give you huge losses as compared to other Coins.
It's seen in the past few years that, Bitcoin is falling down and also rising. It is stuck around 10k to 12k USD from the last few time.
So at this point of time, investing in Bitcoin, won't be any big deal.
Yes anything can happen if you are thinking for long term investment.
Hope this helps you OP.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2020, 05:49:37 AM
i think we can make old people understand bitcoin by educating them and enlightening on what bitcoin is all about.

Educating old people won't be fruitful IMO.
Better we can cite some real life example and make them understand about the Coin.
The best example can be comparing Bitcoin with Gold.
Old people have immense knowledge on how the Gold price work, we can use that system to make them understand the value of BTC and how it's price actually fluctuates.
In other we can make them understand that, Bitcoin is a Asset like Gold that can be hold Digitally.

609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: October 10, 2020, 09:47:48 AM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?

To be honest no one can ever predict the future.
And according to me no coin can become the fathercoin ETH in the cryptocurrencies family.
The reason behind the popularity of ETH is it's availability and less fees. And it has played an immense role in the development of ERC-20 tokens.
So we can easily conclude that, no crypto can beat ETH in the market.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 10, 2020, 04:51:46 AM
In such type of situation, Electruem can be really helpful.
Coming to the topic, this hasn't happened to me not for a single time also.
I guess people are careful enough to check the BTC address after they copy, paste it.
Yes it sometimes may happen if you are doing plenty of transitions at a particular period of time.
But still this have never happened with me.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 09, 2020, 07:05:49 AM
I'm fed up with all this cryptocurrency thing.

First off, I make tremendous loses due to being a newbie in this market. After a second thought (and accepting the heavy loses incurred) I decided to try again and re-invest in bitcoin, only to be told this few moments ago.

I will not risking HODLING bitcoins if they will shut down the first (and only) cryptocurrency exchange in Kuwait. As such I decided to play it safe, incur further loses, and just sold all my bitcoins and getting out of this business for good.

After all, why should I HODL my bitcoins (1.25 this time) when I can't exchange them for cash when I need them? More importantly, how will bitcoin appreciate when exchanges will close in other parts of the world?

I wish I was never introduced to Bitcoin.  Angry

Any ideas on what I should do with my Ledger Nano X now?  Roll Eyes

It's so sad that you made losses.
But it's oftenly seen from newbies only.
That's why it's always advised that, before investing your money into anything, do a brief check about it.
Same should happen with trading.
Moreover as far the exchange issue is concerned, you could have paid a visit to localbitcoins.com, i bet that would have surely helped you out.
Hope this helps you OP.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 09, 2020, 04:36:00 AM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions even when it faster and easier, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. Now how come we make bitcoin come to people.

This type of immature behaviour is oftenly seen by peop who aren't aware of internet.
They don't trust internet with their money.
Moreover many people are also there, who thought Bitcoins are the source of Gambling, for which they often advised their own friends and families to stay away from Bitcoin.
But i guess it won't last longer, as in this generation all things are adapted via internet and the youth are becoming more concerned about the environment.
I predict in the next few years, we can see Bitcoins as a reputable Currency.

614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC Stolen from Vanity Address (BitcoinVanityGen.com) on: October 08, 2020, 05:17:24 AM
Sadly, you were not the only one.

The scammer behind the website was waiting for the right moment to steal the coins from all the addresses he generated.

https://bitcoinvanitygen.com - not samr7 vanitygen

And that was not the first time. Velkro (the website's owner) has been scamming people since 2014/2015. At least the website is down (for now).

Yes it was my mistake and i am now regret of it.

But it is even more sad that, when anyone will search on Google about "how to generate Bitcoin vanity address" , the first result they will get is that to go to BitcoinVanityGen.com to generate an address.
You can try yourself and see.
The article is https://www.dummies.com/personal-finance/generate-bitcoin-vanity-address/

But thankfully the domain of BitcoinVanityGen is not working any longer now.
Hope this scam has come to an end.
615  Economy / Scam Accusations / BTC Stolen from Vanity Address (BitcoinVanityGen.com) on: October 08, 2020, 04:32:38 AM
It's sad that i fell into this scam.

So i generated a Vanity address at BitcoinVanityGen.com about a year ago "1LiMLimy69EEwZUgHGP6XXY4qGFg2vygfZ"

And imported it to my blockchain wallet.

But 2 days back, i found that 0.0075+ BTC has been stolen from that address.

 https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/address/1LiMLimy69EEwZUgHGP6XXY4qGFg2vygfZ/

It was my fault that i Trusted an online address generator and i have understood my fault.

So this is a message to all newbies out there, not to fall into these traps and always go for hardware wallets.

Rest in Piece my 0.0075 BTC.
616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyin Crypto with Credit card on: October 08, 2020, 04:16:32 AM
Does anybody know a place where i can buy bitcoin with credit card. I have tried so many websites but it always declines. Who knows a good place where i can buy. NB: I have tried Binance also

You can easily buy Bitcoins, through your credit card at Coinbase.
They too only require a small verification process that is instant also.
And Coinbase is one of the trusted compaion which you can rely upon.
Also you can connect your CC to your PayPal account and Can buy BTC for PayPal at many places.
Have a visit to Localbitcoins.com also, they too have many payment methods to purchase BTC.
Hope this helps you OP.

Terms and conditions
FAQ

Use VPN is prohibited. You can get list of nations that can not use the casino or play some games in the Availability of games from Terms and conditions. Are you from one of those nations?

Yes, using VPN is not entertained by many of Gambling sites/casinos.
People are generally not connecting to site, as their ISP may have blocked Gambling sites or they are the residents of those countries where Gambling is illegal/not allowed.

Coming to the site,
The Site's UI is very much attractive, it's been ages since i saw this type of UI.
The mobile version is too nice.
And more over the main attraction is the Welcome Bonus offer.

Will surely try the site in the near future very soon.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: October 07, 2020, 08:31:04 AM
I for one don't imagine that USDT is an excess of dubious however it has some issue. It is a steady coin so in some cases I convert crypto into usdt. USDT is the most popular crypto stable coin on the planet as I would see it this can't be phony since it's now in the market for right around 1-2 years however it is as yet running and I think this coin has exceptionally splendid future when contrasted with some other stable coin.

Well said.
But i want to add more in the context.
The coin gets popular only after many people shows interest in it.
Same happened with USDT, since the launch, it's hype is been seen in many places, for which it grew upto a stable coin now.
Moreover listing in various exchanges and sites also helped a lot in increasing the popularity of the coin.
So at last we can conclude that we can surely trust USDT.
It's one of the used Altcoins present in the market.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🏈⚽ EVERBET.IO: MULTI-CHAIN SOCIAL BETTING DAPP !!! ⚽🏈🔥🔥🔥 on: October 07, 2020, 04:53:13 AM
It feels great, when you are the Beta Tester for an awesome project.
The site has a really unique concept of social Gambling
And to be honest i really like it.
But it would have been better if you could have mentioned more about the details of the game in the OP itself.

Moreover as the site will not accept Bitcoin, or currently not accepting Bitcoins, then it should be Moved to Altcoins section.

Nevertheless a cool project, which every one will love to be the part of it.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: October 06, 2020, 10:12:53 AM
I think the most problem that happened to the newbies is want to make money with an instant way. They didn’t make any strategy how to manage some investment in cryptocurrency. The important thing is we must go through the process.

Well said mate.
All want is just easy money and that too in short period of time.
And for now they are blaming that the cryptos are pushing them into losses.
But it's due to their foolishness they are getting losses.
It's always advised to invest in stable cryptos, though it will give less profit in a longer period of time, but still it's reliable and risk free.
Hope this clears some confusion Op.
