Also OP get off the computer, sitting in front of the PC all day begging for 4 Bucks isn't helping you mentally go outside and breathe fresh air and go for a run or something you will feel so much more better than popping pills.

Actually I got good news. After reading the advice from you about calling Visa for Charge Back. I called the Visa Fraud Team. They looked at my account and told me that unfortunately it is not fraud, because I put the payment detail myself. Then she said but the payment haven't actually gone through yet. So she gave me an advice, she said she can transfer me to another department and tell them to cancel my card, and re-issue me a new card numbers, that way no one can take money out of my account, since Paypal haven't took my money yet.

So I know Paypal will be piss off. But this is the quickest way and I guess I am lucky that the money actually never left my bank account yet. I think I am going to call Paypal now and let them know.  Grin

This will put your PayPal account in negative credit and they will try get their goons on to you and harass you with phone calls and letters.

You will have to say bye bye to PayPal if you do that, unless they charge back the money from BFL.

Aren't you a minor, giving a kid money to buy drugs is just wrong.
604  Economy / Lending / Re: 0% Interest BTC Loans, [MMORPG / Alt-Coin Collateral] on: September 08, 2013, 10:38:07 PM
But the thing is it's not even a loan anymore.  I have to trust YOU now.

Well, I am down for having the MMORPG items held in a trusted escrow or something.

But hey, just throwing a 0 interest service out there not really bothered if people use it or not I just notice lots of loan requests and scams going on so trying to make a fair and easy way to get a small loan.

Plus I have lots of experience in MMORPG sales and have a PlayerAuctions.com account with nearly 300 Feedback so I can easily sell collateral if the lender defaults on the loan.

Oh, just found out that site thanks Tongue  I see it accepts bitcoin, but when I click the tab it redirects to homepage.  Undecided

Yeah, they used to have a Bitcoin marketplace on their site but PayPal forced them to remove it sadly, you can still check out via Bitcoin when buying a item tho which is pretty cool.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / PlayerAuctions.com removed Bitcoin sales. on: September 08, 2013, 10:36:57 PM
Hey guys,

So PlayerAuctions.com is a site where you trade MMORPG items for cash though a marketplace and you put up your offers and PlayerAuctions.com escrows the trade. Then they pay you out via PayPal or MoneyBookers.

So PlayerAuctions.com added a Bitcoin marketplace and it went quite well until one day I noticed the Bitcoin marketplace was gone...

PayPal forced PlayerAuctions.com to remove Bitcoin from their site since in theory you was buying Bitcoin with PayPal and selling Bitcoin with PayPal.

What is your opinion on this.

Best way to deal with PayPal is phone them, sending them a e-mail and waiting for disputes to be handled online is painful to watch.

How much do BFL owe you OP.

609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I ordered a Butterfly Rig. I wish I joined this forum a few day ago. on: September 08, 2013, 09:45:44 PM
I think they are saying since they are shipping those orders are not refundable due to them not actually being pre orders anymore.

I guess it's time to call VISA and charge back the payment, I guess PayPal won't be happy you're doing that tho.
610  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Is sending money by IBAN reversible? on: September 08, 2013, 08:49:18 PM
Yes, if the payment is fraudulent and the bank requests the payment back or the person sending convinces their bank that their account was hacked to try gain free Bitcoin.

My advice is to sell with cash deposit, people put actual cash in your account so it's safe.
But how do I know that the person made a cash deposit or just transferred the money?

I was thinking about using paypal for small trades. Even is small trades I don't want to lose my bitcoins and get chargedback. Anyone who got has experience with being charged back after bitcoin sale please tell me what the buyer would complain about to get the cashback? It cant be that hard to prove that you send the bitcoins to him, right? Anyway I just want to be ready and know what I am facing just in case someone does open a dispute.

PayPal don't support BTC transactions, and it's so easy to dispute you will mostly lose every time.

Also it will show up as DEP or something on your bank statement.

Banks won't care about a Blockchain.info transaction showing you sent the Bitcoin.

Can I buy Bitcoin from a legitimate seller on the regular internet and have it deposited directly to SR? I'll start another post if this one gets no replies.

Yes you can, just buy the coins and get them sent to your regular wallet and send them to your deposit address on SR.

That's desperation lol I wouldn't be surprised if all of them started doing that, I can guarantee you that money they're offering is probably printed too, either that or they're taking the money out of other peoples' savings accounts to pay for it Tongue

Haha yeah, I have two accounts and it was just sitting around for years so I just transferred it and got a free 100 and put it right into my main account.

Thanks for the free 100 Halifax haha.
614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I ordered a Butterfly Rig. I wish I joined this forum a few day ago. on: September 08, 2013, 07:26:14 PM

Thank you for your reply. I have read the thread which you have kindly supplied to me. I will try and follow those actions, and hopefully I can get my refund soon.

Another question. If Butterfly Lab Rig is such a scam. What do other people use to mine their bitcoin? Using ASICMINER Erupter USB, or good old fashion GPU?

Thanks

Dragonkid

Those ASIC USB will never ROI as in you will never get the money you spent on them back though mining.

GPU mining Bitcoin at this day and age will not ROI either.

Your CC provider will generally tell you to deal with it via PayPal, but you can ask them I guess.
617  Other / Off-topic / UK People, earn a free £100 by switching banks. on: September 08, 2013, 05:49:11 PM
Hey guys,

Thought I would share this with you, if you're from the UK and you have a spare bank account you can easily earn £100 free by switching your bank to Halifax and after about a week and it's all set up they credit your account with a free £100.

You have to already have a bank account to switch, you can't just open a account and get a free £100.

http://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/switch-to-halifax/

It's all free just need to open a current account and transfer your account over to them.

You can do it all online, and they just send your card in the post and your details.

How did they pay so little tx fee, also I wonder how they keep so many BTC. I would be a nervous wreck with that many.
