601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What made 'Bitcoin' the Bitcoin it is today? on: September 27, 2017, 01:24:55 PM
What made Bitcoin so successful? How couldn't altcoins like defeat it at the early stages? Is it because of the overwhelming support of the community that made bitcoin what it is today?

Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currencies and BlockChain technology started its journey with bitcoin only. So that pioneer status has made bitcoin immensely popular and enjoying the public trust since its inception. Bitcoin has made the blockchain popular and with it comes all the altcoins what we have today.

Also the idea of decentralization came in to picture with bitcoin which got back-up from the communities around the world. Overall i believe bitcoin became popular because it was the pioneer in crypto coin. Otherwise, we have a lot of coins available in the market today which is technologically superior than bitcoin.

the idea of "decentralization" was already around. specially in other fields. for example the file sharing (torrents) is a very good example of it where the term "peer" gained a new meaning. and bitcoin is similar with everything being peer to peer when they build on top of the longest chain that everyone shares.

the idea of decentralizing money became famous with bitcoin though.
Yes that’s right– the word “decentralization” was made famous through Bitcoin. I started coming across that word ever since I discovered Bitcoin, and I think that’s one thing that made bitcoin what it is, because most of the people ask always says it’s decentralization.
602  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: September 27, 2017, 12:18:45 PM
Dating site based on a crypto currency is not a good idea in my opinion. On dating sites people look for hook ups. On crypto dating sites both parties will be more interested in crypto than hooking up with each other.

Or maybe this will become a feature of such a site. People unite bitcoin. This is a guarantee that they already have common interests - the crypto currency
Lol people unite Bitcoin? Lmao. Well, I’m not into gambling, neither am I into dating sites. But from what I see, I think will be more interested in a gambling site than a dating site. Only weak a$$es will go online to search for a date.
603  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Profit 50/50 on: September 27, 2017, 11:27:13 AM
A strong company with a large capitalization will give in management a financial instrument bearing 1% of profit per day.
In proof, we are ready to demonstrate this result within 100 (1000) days.

What's the company name? A newbie that says about strong company and bears 1% of profit per day. You are lacking of details, is this sort of HYIP or cloud mining? Any proof first about on how you can give 1% of profit per day to your investors. Make things clear first because it's very unclear on what you are trying to say or what are you are trying to offer. And if you can't give any details no one will be interested on it and you'll be tagged as scam. I have read most of your posts and it's on local I can't understand what you really trying to say here.
If only you guys can see what I’m seeing here– what does he mean by “100 (1000) days”? From my own understanding, this means you will be leaving your money for 1000 (one thousand) days, what the f….? A good and trusted investment company wouldn’t ask you to leave your money for such a long time.
604  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: September 27, 2017, 08:37:41 AM
you must have more skills than normal marketing but

1- cheap service
2- be trusted
3- support team
4-golablel
5-security
6-refund

Not only these there are many other skills you need to know before entering into the internet marketing because when compared to offline you will find lot more different people from different parts of the world. So your focus should be the most important thing is transparency without that it is not possible to survive in the internet marketing.
Yes, transparency is one the most important things. But people also loves cheap services lol. If your products also has a warranty and refund, then that’s an extra bonus. Support team will add a nitro boost to the speed of your growth, cause they do say two is better than one.
605  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would this be a good idea? on: September 27, 2017, 07:48:44 AM
Ok so why am I using you when I can use my own cash? Or find a site that accepts btc. Or if you try to get btc using a swap. You will be less risky, Bitcoin is becoming more popular now and is accepted in many sites / stores / etc ... But there are still many things that you can not buy with Bitcoin.
But it's just an idea .. Thanks!
It is good to keep bitcoin and if you have the potential to increase the power of the bitcoin is through making it popular among the users. Through this a lot of new people will get to know about bitcoin and they will find it easy to use. So it will be good to increase the users of the bitcoin because through this the price of the bitcoin will increase and the profit will be double.
Eehm…why do people find it hard to understand what bitcoin is all about? Whoever told you Bitcoin is meant to be used as money. Take for example, we have Gold. Yep, sometimes gold can be used for transactions, but that doesn’t mean it’s taking place of real currencies. Bitcoin is a form of investment, so don’t force yourselves.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - China bans Bitcoin yet again. This time for real. on: September 26, 2017, 07:44:27 AM
really ? you think how many times china banned bitcoin in the past ? why people keep fall with same trap  Undecided
just let them to what they fear of
they dont know the history, they dont take a time to read what happens before in bitcoin. that is why they are all scared about the price fall of bitcoin.
I don’t even know why anyone should be worried about China banning bitcoin. It’s just a one country out of many, so we can still achieve a lot without them. I don’t need to say it twice, cause you’re already seeing the return of the bitcoin price to a high value.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End of Dragon Era? on: September 26, 2017, 07:07:09 AM
Despite china's actions to ban ICOs and strictly regulate bitcoin exchanges, bitcoin price has recovered from a slight downfall and now its price is $3950.More over, japan's internet giant GMO has announced that it would start manufacturing ASIC miners which would be a big competition to Bitmain in mining industry.

So,would it be correct to term this as end of dragon era in bitcoin?
Even without China, bitcoin can always survive and that’s what the world has proven. Most people thought it was over, with some of them making the worst statements. I even thought price will fall to below $2k, but surprisingly…it’s back
608  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 26, 2017, 05:51:32 AM
for me bitcoin beacuse it is eisier to find than gold. Because gold, you need to find very hard any places in this world,  bitcoin is easy to find, you can work in this forum, you can recieve btc
I think everyone has his own way of looking up at the things. I will go for Bitcoin only instead of putting my half money in Bitcoin and half in gold. There are couples of reasons behind it. You will not lose your concentration if you invest in either. Secondly, you will not be looking at the market of both of them.
Bitcoin or gold? Well I’m actually going for Bitcoin, and u have my own reasons for that. If I invest in Gold, I won’t be making any profit because is stable and remains the same from year to year with just little changes.

But with bitcoin? I’m sure of making lots of profits because of its high volatility. Even if it drops $10, when it will rise, it will rise more than $50.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 26, 2017, 05:15:17 AM
with 200$ trading is best way also try to find some skills so you can make this 200$ be 20,000$ and start investing
Yes, trading is a very good opportunity to make your 200$ into 20000$ or even more. I think both trading and investing are good options and will give you a good opportunity to make out money. I think you need to decide the best suitable option out of these in your point of view. Go for that option in which you are good at.
If you can find a safe place to invest, then I will say investment is your best bet. Yes it’s true that trading can earn you a large sum of money, but luck is not always on everyone’s side. You might be lucky today and tomorrow you will end up not being lucky. But it’s left for you, if you think you can trade, then get in, if not investment is the best.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2013, I wished I was an early bird who bought BTC in 2009. In 2017,... on: September 23, 2017, 11:30:52 AM
We are now facing one of the best buying opportunities here these days, with the price going towards 2000USD level, we may not see this again when the price picks up.
Yep! This is the golden chance for those who want to get into bitcoins business. Bitcoins are at very low prices at the moment and this chance will soon be over once the month of November starts. Bitcoins are highly expected to go to 5k dollars before the beginning of New Year.
You know, last week when price was falling due to China’s banning of ICO and JP Morgan’s co-worker/assistant trash talk, I wasn’t even worried. I just said to myself “this is a good opportunity to buy in” lol. I even expected the price to go down to $2000.
611  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bike-sharing? on: September 22, 2017, 04:05:21 PM
A question for everyone whp supports BTC as payments for this bike sharing business. If the company accepts BTC, do you think there would be enough people who would use it as their preferred form of payment? Do they have enough BTC users in Singapore to make it realistic for a company to accept BTC only?

Lol, you’re right. I don’t even think a company would do such; accepting Bitcoin as the only form of payment, unless they want to end up in doom. The number of people making use of regular currency is more than those using Bitcoin; I believe about 99% of the world’s population are using regular currency.
612  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: September 22, 2017, 03:40:55 PM
Have you tried going to places and get hungry but you have no cash available with only bitcoins in your smartphone. Here are the list of bitcoin accepting restaurants that will feed your stomach with delicious cooking in exchange for bitcoins. This is a sign that bitcoin is truly amazing that even restaurants and pizza stores have seen its value and started to include in its payment options.

Check the list on this link: http://bitcoinrestaurants.net/
It is definitely good step for people. It is not only constructive but also funny and enthusiastic. It will help people in their emergency moments. If we would look after this step with great interest, it will go for a long journey.
Lol he said this like the service is available everywhere. Bitcoin can’t be used to buy food from restaurants, unless in some certain countries. Anyway, with the way this Bitcoin confirmation works, I don’t think it will be a good idea for restaurants to be accepting such.
613  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What happened ? on: September 22, 2017, 02:16:54 PM
after 4000 $ go down to 3300- 3400 $ maybe below  Smiley
Last time I checked, the price for Bitcoin was around $3,600+ so I don’t really think that should be regarded as falling, cause I can remember it was down to $3,000 and nearly hit $2,900+ rate but instead it started going back up. I believe are starting to invest again or something like that.
614  Economy / Marketplace / Re: (Gauging Interest)"lowkey" stylish bitcoin apparel on: September 16, 2017, 07:41:35 PM
Do you have plans to have altcoin apparels? There are some classic altcoins that were never able to make it like Vertcoin which have cool logos.
Definitely, and in those cases, we would love to work with the actual developers for a mutually beneficial partnership.
It will, of course, be ultimately decided by interest.
Certainly. It is only possible to talk and convince someone of you’ll talk about mutual benefits of one another. I think there will be hardly any chance of denying your offer by anyone especially when comes a point when you’ll be offering them a good reward. They will happily accept your deal.
Thanks for the free bump! Roll Eyes (This is also a bump)

Currently, the biggest issue for us is the fact that we'll be barely making a profit in this operation. That is, of course, secondary, which is why we're still going at it!
Wow, these are so cool and it’s low-key indeed. There is nothing like wearing something decent and without anyone noticing what it’s all about except crypto currency geeks, who doesn’t need to glance at it twice to know what it is. To be honest, these apparels are more than cool.
615  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: September 16, 2017, 06:09:28 PM
i think if you famous use youtube channels people like to do what famous people do
Yes, YouTube is really a good way to promote your products only if you’re famous, but if you ain’t, you can ask a friend who’s famous on YouTube to help you promote it or even tell a YouTuber. Google, Instagram and Facebook can also be good options for promotion; especially Google, I think.
616  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: September 16, 2017, 12:15:13 PM
I want a lot of toys especially electronic goods
and more in the online store I think it's happy?
There are lots of cool outdoor equipment I can get for myself. I really love having fun and chilling outside. Well, indoor is cool too, but you don’t just stay indoor doing nothing. Staying indoors is not really my life style, unless I’ve got something to keep me busy inside– like gaming.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If China Bans Bitcoin Exchanges, will they also ban Bitcoin mining? on: September 16, 2017, 11:27:30 AM
CHINA banned domestic Bitcoin exchanges in their country which affected the Bitcoin price due to some reason but that would be solved soon I guess. What I heard was chinas ban on Bitcoin was temporary they will soon start Bitcoin exchange and actually, that would not be a big of a problem due to VPN and proxy IP use people of China can still trade their bitcoins for now. I do not think that CHina is soon planning to ban the miners as well but if they do that can be a problem because from what I have heard is China has the highest no of miners and a large amount of Bitcoin is mined in China. Anyways their ICO ban is temporary so I do  not think that they would ban Bitcoin mining as well.
There are some questions that comes to my mind when I hear of Bitcoin being banned in a country– what about those that invested their money into Bitcoin, what are they going to do? So they will just lose their money like that I guess. It’s too bad. Someone has to be careful while investing into all these things.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 16, 2017, 10:54:01 AM
The current bitcoin price is $ 3100, and I think it's a good moment to buy, I'm sure next week the bitcoin price will return to $ 4000 and next month's start will reach $ 5000.
Agree with you. It was rather deep correction, so after it I hope the price will only grow) That's why it's time for buying now.
I was thinking the price will hit below $3000 falling to $2000 I guess, but surprisingly it’s going back up and was around $3500 the last time I checked. But no matter what happens, I still believe this is a perfect time to buy in, though I can’t tell what will actually happen in the next fork which is on November.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 16, 2017, 09:58:30 AM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.
Yes, I agree with you what you said because bitcoin can control the world economy and especially now that has been powerful of bitcoin today.
No it won’t just control the world’s economy like that. Yes it will have some major effect in the world’s economy and will put some changes, but that doesn’t it will carry on and change everything.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin Transaction Traceable? on: September 16, 2017, 09:23:09 AM
Hello everyone

As the title states "Are Bitcoin transactions traceable?" if so how? One thing I know is transactions can be traced via exchanges but how did early investors purchase Bitcoin? was it only via mining? Also, how can my personal information be traced using my public address?

Thanks in Advance
Yes, Bitcoin is indeed very traceable. I’ve read and heard several stories of how scammers and criminals on the Bitcoin platform were traced and arrested in their country. Most of them will end up as rotten eggs in their country’s prison. I really love that. Wonderful!
