601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Virtually Outlawed in India as Supreme Court Backs Ban on: July 06, 2018, 05:20:41 PM
The key word is "virtually".There was nothing outlawed. The RBI can't pass laws, that is the duty of the parliament.Until those morons take a stance and make up their minds about cryptos, nothing is outlaws or banned or legal. Right now BTC is in a grey area where everybody does as it pleases.

India also said "no" to international coalition against ISIS/ISIL terrorists in 2014.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold runs blockchain technology on: July 06, 2018, 04:58:02 PM
Thus, gold and bitcoin are closely similar to each other. But I do not see gold in the parts of computer, in the motherboard. Maybe that computer is very expensive for there is gold.

I got it wrong. Moderators please delete this thread.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold runs blockchain technology on: July 06, 2018, 04:38:58 PM
For example, the Intel Pentium 4 Microprocessor came in an organic (non ceramic) package with a nickle-plated copper lid, & it did not use gold wire internally to attach the silicon chip to it's package. It's only noticeable gold content came from it's connector pins that were thinly gold-plated. However, the pins were gold-plated to a thickness of only 0.76 microns - that calculates to just around a few cents worth of gold value per CPU

World's 7th largest Sterlite Copper plant to shut down permanently   Grin

Sterlite Copper plant at Thoothukudi will be sealed permanently, says a Government Order issued by Environment and Forests department. This follows directions issued by Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) for closure and disconnection of power supply to the unit last week. The Government Order said, it is brought to the notice of the Government that TNPCB did not renew the Consent to Operate to Vedanta Limited, Copper Smelter Plant in its order on April 19, 2018. Subsequently on May 23, TNPCB issued directions for closure and disconnection of power supply to the unit. The power supply has been disconnected on May 24.

“Today, the main demand of the people is that the copper plant should be permanently closed. In keeping with their demand, it is shut now. I would like to make it clear that the Sterlite plant will be permanently shut,” Panneerselvam said.Describing the death of 13 people in the police firing as an “incident of grief which melted the hearts of everyone’’, Panneerselvam expressed his condolences to the kin of the dead and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Recalling the steps taken by the government for closing down the plant, he said way ago in 2013, the copper plant was shut by late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. However, Sterlite approached the National Green Tribunal and got orders for resuming operations and the government’s petition opposing this was still pending in the Supreme Court.

606  Economy / Economics / America threatens China with $500 billion in US trade tariffs on: July 06, 2018, 12:43:41 PM
As US tariffs on Chinese imports worth $34 billion kicked in on Friday, President Donald Trump said he would consider imposing additional levies on $500 billion in Chinese goods, should Beijing retaliate.Another $16 billion are expected to go into effect in two weeks and potentially another $500 billion, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on his way to Montana before the tariffs kicked in.First “34 (billion dollars), and then you have another 16 in two weeks and then as you know we have $200 billion in abeyance and then after the $200 billion we have $300 billion in abeyance. Ok? So we have 50 plus 200 plus almost 300,” Trump said, adding “It’s only on China.”

Hours after Washington introduced 25 percent trade tariffs on $34 billion worth of Chinese goods, Beijing retaliated with mirror measures against American imports. Chinese tariffs will reportedly target US products such as soybeans, seafood and crude oil. China warned that while it has promised not to "fire the first shot," it would now be forced to "counterattack" in order to defend its core interests. It has vowed to inform the World Trade Organization (WTO) and work with other countries to “jointly safeguard free trade and the multilateral system.”

607  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S tells China and India to stop buying oil from Iran on: July 06, 2018, 08:51:13 AM
I think whatever happens someone will buy Iran's crude oil no matter what president Trump might say. I mean the world needs it and iran and Saudi are one of the key players. Yes Saudi could fill the lose of Iran but Iran could always sell lower. Besides, Trumk has no power over where we and who we buy crude oil from.

I think Saudi Arabia will be supplying 1 million to 2 million barrels of oil more per day to cover the loss of supply from Iran.

But if there further stoppage of oil supply due to wars, transportation, accidents etc.. crude oil has no more backup supply. This situation cannot be ignored

What problems in the world can Bitcoin and blockchain technology solve ?
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold runs blockchain technology on: July 06, 2018, 04:14:05 AM
Yes and the OP doesn't mean gold is outrunning bitcoin either he simply means a piece iof gold is found in almost every little technology out there including the computers that make up the bitcoin network and so essentially gold is running bitcoin.

First comes Gold. Bitcoin and technology come second.   Smiley
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins valuable? on: July 06, 2018, 03:01:17 AM
Silver was $80/ounce in 1980. Gold price was also high till year 2000.

Even at $600, Bitcoin will be valuable. Keep an eye on the financial markets.

It takes $4,000,000,000,000 for gold price to go up by +10%.

It takes $200,000,000,000 for Bitcoin to go up by +100%.

The Pentium Pro also had two separate chips inside so this doubled the amount of solid gold wire bonding that is usually found in a single chip CPU. Gold refining yields of the Pentium Pro have been reported to be as high as around one gram per CPU.

612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold runs blockchain technology on: July 05, 2018, 05:03:41 PM
Well I really didn't get your point. Yes gold is being used in many devices where it is required and the price is less than bitcoin too. Do you want to suggest all to invest into gold now? Will it be wise? Gold is not a sort of currency and you will not be able to deal with it as you can do with your bitcoin.

Mastercard to start anonymous transactions on blockchain

Mastercard won a patent for anonymous transactions based on Blockchain. The new Mastercard patent describes a system that facilitates anonymous transactions through a block system. According to Mastercard, the transparent nature of transactions with blocking is an obstacle to adopting this technology for daily payments. Personally for here there will be no transparency. On the contrary, "you are in the rhythm of dance - you do not have to go anywhere" Mastercard actively cooperates with the states. Now the entire transaction will remain in life in the blockchain.

614  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S tells China and India to stop buying oil from Iran on: July 05, 2018, 03:59:24 PM
Can US actually dictate to another country not to buy a product from another country? I mean what power does the US have to do this? I mean to dictate China and India which are 2 of the most densely populated countries in the with man power that could put US to it's knees. I myself don't dabble in politics simply because it is dirty

Stopping Iran oil could be world changing event. Stock markets, gold, silver. petrol/gasoline, even Bitcoin prices will go up or down +10% or -10%. Keep an eye here.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: 5904 banks frauds in 3 months in India on: July 05, 2018, 03:55:20 PM
Creating fake documents and fake degrees is not a big deal in under developed countries and this is why we see a lot of frauds happening in such countries. By using blockchain and bitcoin, most of the frauds can be avoided to some extent.

Those high rank managers who are paid $25,000 to $50,000/month cleared/signed the $2 billion loan. They have lawyers and best CAs.
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500,000 Bitcoins will be sold on: July 05, 2018, 02:45:25 PM
You have to post proof when you are making such a big claim. 500.000 BTC is a lot of money and it looks like you are making things up in your head. I doubt people in here is saying "im going to sell specifically X amount of BTC" and you have done an study to sum all of these potential sales into a big round "500.000 BTC" number. Sounds pretty dumb actually, that's why your threads my be removed as baseless FUD. At least post it in speculation where it belongs, otherwise you come across as yet another kwukduck.

Hi, I'm now direct to an Australia institution coin holder, he would like to sell his coin at discount rate, supply range from minimum 1,000 bitcoins (min) - 341,000 bitcoins (max). Willing to do proof of coin first. Willing to use escrow or meetup. Willing to do KYC and AML. Willing to pay commission to intermediaries/broker.

617  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: July 05, 2018, 02:42:49 PM
Good point of view, but digital money never = cashless society. Digital money has greatly evolved. It is real to buy some product into the internet using bitcoin or another crypto.

Bitcoin has achieved its goal of decentralization and peer to peer payments.

619  Economy / Speculation / Re: 8 of the richest btc addresses logged in at the same time on: July 05, 2018, 01:35:24 PM
Judging by your statement that these 8 richest bitcoib addresses all both logged in at tge same time, this might also mean that they are either groupped and have collectively decided to check their accounts for who-knows-what, or that they all belong to a single benefactor. If they are to cash-out all of these investments or currencies, we are in for tge biggest dump of our lives.

OP is saying those 8 Bitcoin addresses were inactive or tagged as lost since 2011. Now they have come for Bitcoin buying or selling.
620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the relation of Bitcoin with Blockchain? on: July 05, 2018, 12:41:42 PM
"Blockchain is a technology that allows anyone to send anyone else a piece of information, currency or data in a secure, transparent and anonymous way,"

Bitcoin was actually created for the purpose of decentralized peer to peer payments.
