Hello dear reputable members
Can I really believe on btc-e and coinbase.com to store my btc. Will they not scam me? Need a review by you people
Thanks
Well they can run whenever they want too. But why would/wouldn't they?

Although you don't have much,
I send most of my transactions with a fee of 0.00025 to be safe.

Unless you're able to have this multi million dollar setup in Washington State, you shouldn't get into mining: Ideal situations entail decent BTC price(NOPE), cheap electricity like $0.05 kW/HouR(NOPE for 99% of the country), cheap miners bought in bulk(NOPE if you don't have a few million to invest)...so yea, that should answer your question. Holy... Do you know who owns this?

Do NOT buy BTC until is is $183 - $195 range. It is testing its lows and does not have any support right now. It could easily drop to this level within the next week unless something positive happens.
Although I would like to buy more at such a nice price. I would also like to start spending again. I hope that doesn't happen.

Personally I have about 0.1 bitcoin, I think. I haven't found anything to spend it on, yet! It's a bit pointless to buy my own candles.
Holding is best at this moment of time.

It looks like you got scammed and i am afraid you just lost your $30.
Since this is your first post, i assume you didn't ask for any help here...
Well, let me skip that first mistake and actually do ask here first :-) I'm thinking to buy 50$ worth of Bitcoin. Thinking to do this every month for next few months... Where should I start? What would be the most convenient way of doing it? I don't want to link my bank account to it. I don't mind using my CC since I can create one time disposable virtual number. (I don't like idea of my real CC number being stored on too many different sites, too many are being hacked these days...) I'm USA resident, what is your suggesting, what should be my first step, where should I go.... I already have wallet set up, Core wallet and Electrum wallet... Since I don't know how many will see this question, I decided to copy/paste this into main Beginner thread as new subject. But don't kill me for asking you same question :-)))) Localbitcoins.com seem like your best bet.

What are the benefits to yourself of running a node?

I would use multiple address for each transaction.
So I can record them easily.

Ok thanks guys. I'm glad I didn't invest all that money in something that might not be profitable. I'm going to take a look at litecoin for now and see if mining that holds any rewards.
And another reason would be that the block halves next year to 12.5btc

You could also try put this into the service section.

This is really cool.
Haven't seen something like this before.

probably U can go to btcjam and registers an account, lend all your bitcoin to trusted members for the long term loan!
Your coins are then unavailable for at most 30 days but could come back earlier.Just don't blindly lend to people. They could still be scammers.

You can try and gamble, there are some sites like Primedice, Coinichiwa etc who has free faucet and you can try to multiply that. I have seen people reach 0.02 from gambling with faucet only.
I wouldn't reccomend that. Gambling is risky. You can lose your coins easily out of greed.
