601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation. on: November 01, 2019, 11:43:36 AM
Unfortunately, there are such, decentralization is the main thing that we have in the crypto market.
Now we have a situation similar to the banking system, when we ourselves transfer our funds into the hands of a third party, an intermediary, on whom we rely on integrity.

But this is just a business, and as in the case of banks, also in the case of exchanges, if everyone abruptly starts withdrawing their funds, withdrawing them from the exchange, this can cause a collapse of the exchange if it does not have enough liquidity. Who knows how the exchange manages our funds when we bring them to the exchange.

But alas, there is little that can be done now, traders cannot refuse large exchanges because the analogues of the center of Lysed exchanges do not provide sufficient functionality and liquidity.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 01, 2019, 10:24:30 AM
Truly speaking I came to crypto industry to earn some extra bucks and bull run in late 2017 gave me many folds profit than my expectations. Although I could not retain all the profit and lost a good amount in next bear run but cryptocurrencies industry became one of my favorite option to invest. Currently blockchain is not popular among common people but once people will start understanding its power, cryptocurrencies may see a new high. Blockchain has made international transactions really easy.

Yes, many of you who came here primarily to earn money against the backdrop of the 2017 boom, however, this is not the most environmentally friendly strategy, because the cryptocurrency market at least provides many opportunities for earning and investing, it also represents a zone of increased danger for your investments.
I believe that in the cryptocurrency market, money is not the most important component, although it has huge weight.

The main thing in cryptocurrency is the development of projects, the development of technologies, the development of Blockchain, because if the development of any project stops, the price drops immediately, which means that all your investments can be lost. Of all the projects, only Bitcoin is self-sufficient, independent of the work of the team and other external factors.
All other projects represent an area of increased risk.

While the blockchain technology lives on, its speculative money side will also live, but not vice versa.
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 31, 2019, 06:38:33 PM
My advice to you, always expect a recession.
Even if you have to wait a long time (as practice shows no more than a year), however, before the growth, the price is always pressed down to buy as cheaply as possible and put as many people into the boiler as possible. This is a key factor that will allow you to maximize your profits. Take your time. Crypto market is in no hurry, feel its pace and move to the beat.
604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 31, 2019, 05:46:53 PM
For someone with a little understanding of digital market, holding is best.

I disagree.

Holding requires also a lot of skills, to be honest, holding without any idea what tokens you are holding, how much potential of those tokens you are holding could give you in the long run, and so many more, there are so many things that we should consider regarding about holding, it is not a child's play. Holding alone will make your profits disappear, you might wake up one day and your portfolio doesn't have any value (burning of tokens) or being delisted on exchanges.

I agree with you, but even owning a set of factors that you have listed, you only increase your chances of success, but you can’t guarantee that the second coin you hold will fly up.

Even if the project itself has 100% chance, due to its awesomeness, there is still bitcoin and the crypto market as a whole, which, if something happens, can send all projects to the bottom of the sea.
But, this does not mean that you should thoughtlessly choose projects. It depends only on you where you invest your money, and whether it will bring you profit.
605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform with it's own token ? on: October 31, 2019, 04:57:38 PM
Try https://www.bcnex.net. A new platform that was recently launched.
They have their own token. They made a very competent decision on the distribution of coins from drops and bounties, the price does not fall at all.
Also, the TRON coin was listed on the exchange and Justin Sun himself tweeted about the bcnex exchange. I think it has potentia
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: October 31, 2019, 04:08:32 PM
Do not send money to scammers and you will not be deceived.

To be honest, I somewhat doubt the relevance of your advice.
The time of hypes has passed. Of all the projects of today, it’s possible to single out only telegrams and Libra as HYIPs, but neither of them gives an opportunity to invest in them.
Therefore, your advice seems a little belated to me.

As for FOMO, in the current market I have not seen this phenomenon for a long time. Even when Bitcoin grew to $ 13,000 and FOMO did not activate, which is why the whales had to sell out.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: October 31, 2019, 03:07:03 PM
I like the ideas of freedom and equality. This is exactly what is achieved through decentralization.

Our whole life since birth is very centralized, we are obliged to do certain things that we don’t want because the state or society says so.
We cannot live the lives we want because we do not have enough money that is concentrated in certain circles. If one is lucky to be born in more developed countries, and get more opportunities for a free choice of life, then others have no choice at all.
This is not fair.

Money is centralization. And in the form in which they exist now they provoke people to be slaves of systems than free people.

Blockchain can tear these chains. Blockchain - decentralization - a revolution capable of freeing humanity from the oppression of slave-owning financial systems.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Altcoin price ticker widge for Windows PC (Recommend!) on: October 31, 2019, 02:46:59 PM
Sorry I don't use widgets because they are not safe ,I prefer blockfolio or others ,who knows that might be a spyware integrated inside the widget setup and they can steal your keys ,safety matters the most when you are into cryptocurrency ,I have many crypto wallets running on my pc and I never even use the pc for browsing just to be on safer side

Thanks for concerning! Wink As long as you feel unsafe, it is true not to use any software that you don't feel safe even though they are WALLETS or softwares not related to blockchain at all like Chrome extensions, text editors, any small apps for convenience etc. They, every apps, have 'potential' problems indeed.

Anyway, for whom concerning such things please see follow:

1. BitTab does not ask anything about your things at all. We don't require sign-up, sign-in, UAC(admin privilege), Windows Service or anything personal.
2. We put checksum on our website for users to compare if needed.
3. We are on Avast Whitelisting Program.
4. We are scanned and confirmed clean by VirusTotal with 60+ global anti-viruses including Avast, AVG, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Windows Defender, Avira, V3 and so on.
5. We don't ask transaction or payment procedure through software.
6. In the original source code, BitTab only read-write 'Program Files\BitTab' and 'My Documents\BitTab'.

We agree that there are several potential things to be considered like hacking, reverse-engineering our app then re-upload to our server. So, if you are running crypto wallets on your PC (if so, it is heavily recommended that the PC is not for use daily like browsing, doing office work etc - everything can be harmful) we understand your worry.

PLUS, unlike iOS, if you are using Androids, any third party apps(even blockfolio but not meaning it really is) have potential security problems that each app can infiltrate, manipulate and extract private info across apps.

If any technical things that you want to ask, please feel free to ask us! Grin

I have been looking for a safe widget for Windows for a long time. You could post here or send personal messages links confirming all of the above.
I think it’s better to publish in the thread so that others have no questions left. In general, I like the declared functionality.
609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take advantage BTC Pump and Dump in short period? on: October 31, 2019, 01:55:14 PM
Everything is quite simple. All you need to do is choose which position to stand in front of the movement.
If growth is expected, then you buy more bitcoin, this is called a Long position, and sell it when the price reaches its peak.

If a recession is expected, then you are selling your Bitcoin and waiting until the price reaches its lowest point to buy it back.
It sounds simple, but in reality everything is much more complicated because the market is very ambiguous and even when it seems to you that there will be a movement of a certain type,
the market can go in the completely opposite direction, leaving you with losses.

Therefore, study stop loss.
610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: October 31, 2019, 11:06:14 AM
Long-term investments are much less risky than day trading because during the day trading the market will test you through many traps that large players place on the market
and you will have to make difficult decisions related to opening and closing both long and position.

The most difficult decisions will be associated with short positions.
You can try day trading in a safer manner trading only through Long positions. However, without proper experience, I would have abstained in your place.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 31, 2019, 10:19:18 AM
I only believe in the top 10 altcoins - they are more reliable. The rest of the altcoins cause me doubts and I think that in the future they may well disappear, although it is possible that new coins may appear that will replenish the list of top ones.

I do not agree with you. Far beyond the top ten alternative coins, there are a whole host of projects in which life is in full swing.
According to my conservative estimates, similar projects can be found up to the 500th line of the top list.

Indeed, the most important thing in alternative projects is how the team works, and how the implementation of project ideas is progressing.
If these factors are present in the project, then it can be called promising, and in the future it can easily move from the top 500 to the top 100. After all, projects that stop in development quickly fall down the list.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 30, 2019, 08:03:41 PM
It is very difficult altcoin can compete because almost every day new altcoins always appear on the market
IMO investing in new altcoins when entered market will be more risky because there are so many project was abandoned and became shitcoin
Certainly if such a coins/tokens will be delisted from exchangers if it has a small volume
okay friend, actually Altcoin can compete, if a project is managed to create ideas and solutions, thus creating new innovations. investors are very fond of new innovations that appear in the public, so in my opinion altcoin will last until the future and success of a project, depending on the ideas and solutions, or the vision and mission of a project.

I agree. This is so very true, the potential of an altcoin depends on its developer and entire team, a great example for that in my opinion is Ethereum, still alive and kicking. A lot of altcoins are appearinng in the market everyday but not all of them are qualified or worthy to stand in the side of the almighty king (Bitcoin), most of them are just fire that lit in the paper, burning brightly but didn't last long when the wind blows.

At the same time, this is a drawback of altcoins due to the fact that too much depends on the project team, if something happens to the team,
for example, someone decided to deceive someone, or some unforeseen event occurs with the whole team, the project becomes strike and the price of a coin with it.

Ethereum really looks like a very promising project now , but primarily due to the fact that it has a huge community of developers, real professionals, people who love their job.
It is not surprising that ether has been in second place for so long.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 30, 2019, 06:56:05 PM
There are rather radical solutions to this situation, for example, to stop investing in any new projects until it becomes clear that these projects are not a scam.
This can reduce the number of scams, however, it will also complicate the launch of a new project on the crypto market.

I think if the project is really worthwhile, with a real team with a good idea, and a feasible plan, it will be accepted by society anyway, it just takes a little more time.
It is better to invest in projects that are already selected by the community, tested, and do not pose a danger.

In other words, we need a decentralized platform for selecting projects, which to some extent is bitcointalk.
614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie Trading Question? on: October 30, 2019, 06:21:12 PM
It's simple, you have to do the most difficult thing in trading - it is to follow the plan.

You have already indicated your mistakes, you already know what to do, but due to the lack of the proper level of discipline and experience, you could not implement your plan in time.
Consider these errors, use the advice given to you in this thread, and do not give in to emotions during the next movement.

Always determine the points at which you will enter or exit the market. No matter what happens next, do not adjust your plan directly during the session.
615  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to sell bitcoin to an alt, so... on: October 30, 2019, 05:54:08 PM
The main difference between bitcoin and altcoins is that it is self-sufficient.
Bitcoin does not depend on what is happening with the developer, the development of the project is ongoing or not, there are announcements or not, the project is on its own roadmap or behind it.

All this is not. But for alternative coins, everything very much depends on the human factor, unfortunately.
Therefore, choosing a project in favor of which I would sell my bitcoins, I would choose a project with a working team that has never let anyone down,
has been on the market for a long time, and also has ambitious, and most importantly, implemented plans for the future.

Thank God such projects are enough on the market.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: October 30, 2019, 04:05:25 PM
It's funny to watch as more and more dissatisfied statements appear on the forum regarding expectations for the future of cryptocurrencies. It can be seen that many people live here from the bull race to the bull race, and in between, they only do what they write questions when the new season of alternative coins comes.

By and large, we are still on the correction of those peak positions in 2017-2018. There is no point in expecting anything from the crypto market, this is a direct way to trap yourself and miss interesting opportunities now.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: October 30, 2019, 03:35:37 PM
It does not seem that Libra claimed the name "cryptocurrency of the year", because it can only be called cryptocurrency conditionally.

Rather, Libra wants to take a place that rightfully belongs to the digital dollar, they understand this in Congress and that is why he is so pressured on Zuckerberg and will be pressed until the Libra project is closed, or until it is reformatted under the auspices of the Federal Reserve System.

But on the other hand, nothing prevents the Fed from releasing its digital version of the dollar itself, saying goodbye to Zuckerberg.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 30, 2019, 02:02:01 PM
Could you give a screenshot of the letter. There is nothing wrong with the fact that the site advertises, this is normal practice, of course, not every honest project can hide behind advertising banners.
However, I have never once seen a banner of an explicit scam project at the CMC, I also have not seen topics on the forum related to the fact that the site advertises fraudulent projects.
Maybe I missed something. I’m talking specifically about advertising scam, and not about placing projects in the list of coins on CMC.
619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: October 30, 2019, 01:08:58 PM
In anticipation of a new crypto boom, people cling to any possible catalysts that supposedly in the future will be able to give a boost to the market.

But analyzing the behavior of the market, we can say that it always acts in the opposite direction with respect to those expectations that prevail among people in the market.
Now everyone is looking forward to a new bull race, they have been waiting for a long time, and this is one of the reasons why he will not be in the near future, I am convinced of this.

The libra is a centralized coin, which means that it cannot influence the price dynamics in the market too much. As for the halving, the price after a hawing rises a year later not earlier, and so it was in the past, as it will now be unknown, everything can play in the opposite direction.
620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: October 30, 2019, 11:30:17 AM
Your thoughts?

Bitcoin is trading below 9500, which has already led to a decrease in its price to 9100. I think if we manage to break through and gain a foothold at 9500, the next wave of growth awaits us, but this is too optimistic.
Most likely we are waiting for 9000, then the test 8800 - 8700, and then a fall to 8000.
