601  Economy / Goods / Re: Magnificent and RARE garnet from Taita-Taveta Kenya 3.04 carats on: February 14, 2014, 07:57:12 AM
If you have any questions about this stunning garnet please ask!
602  Economy / Goods / Magnificent and RARE garnet from Taita-Taveta Kenya 3.04 carats on: February 13, 2014, 01:05:42 PM
This is a magnificent and very rare garnet that was mined in Taia-Taveta, Kenya.  It was mined from the earth and cut and polished; it has not been subjected to any other treatment.  As a GIA Graduate Gemologist I understand my obligation to disclose and explain any treatments so here is the official disclosure:  This 3.04 carat garnet is 100% untreated!

At over three carats this is a superb gemstone for a pendant, a ring, or to thrill the collector inside you.  As more and more gemstone treatments become part of the gemstone trade, truly untreated, all-natural stones like this one become even more desirable.  The trillian shape is an added bonus and is a very striking shape that enhances the beauty of the gem.

Of course beauty is the most important value factor for any gemstone.  The more intense the color and brilliance, the more a gemstone is worth.  A stone like this beautiful Kenyan garnet that is both very vividly colored and that has a ton of brilliance will always command premium prices in the marketplace.

I am asking $149 for the stone and shipping via registered mail (with tracking) is $10.  If you have any questions at all about this gorgeous trillian garnet gemstone please feel free to send me a note at dave@tiptopgem.com or feel free to visit my website!

I still can't figure this out.  Thanks for helping Minzie.  I am a little surprised that nobody has had this issue except me!
604  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is happening with Bitstamp- re flash problem on: February 09, 2014, 02:45:33 PM
Why is this also happening from Chrome?!?
605  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is happening with Bitstamp- re flash problem on: February 09, 2014, 02:34:08 PM
Disabling the flash plug-in doesn't help either.  The error still comes up.
606  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is happening with Bitstamp- re flash problem on: February 09, 2014, 02:32:27 PM
I see it.

I am a little confused why you cannot log in though. I can disable Flash in my browser, and the site works just fine, with the exception of the charts. I have to wonder if maybe your copy of Flash is just conflicting with something.

If you are so inclined, try adding the Flash Block extension to Firefox, and see if the Bitstamp page starts working again.

Flash block 1.5.17 makes no difference- I still get the error.  I am more confused by the minute...

On this site do others see an animation of their logo?

My flash seems to work fine if that is the case.
608  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is happening with Bitstamp- re flash problem on: February 09, 2014, 12:57:37 PM
Is there some kind of test site I can use to check my flash?
609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is happening with Bitstamp- re flash problem on: February 09, 2014, 12:50:10 PM
What browser are you using, and do you have a flash blocker enabled? Have you tried another browser? Did you go ahead and try to update your flash player anyway?

I am using Mozilla Firefox.  No flash blocker enabled.  Yes, I have tried Chrome and get the same thing.  No, I can not upgrade since I am already using the latest version of flash.

I can't log in at bitstamp.  It has been a couple of days now.  I get an error that my flash player may be out of date, but I am already using the most up-to-date version for Ubuntu.  Any ideas?
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / blockchain.info says i have 2 factor enabled, but i don't on: January 28, 2014, 02:45:39 PM
I never added two-factor authentication to my wallet but now it won't let me in.  I have never added two-factor authentication to any service ever.  This is strange.  And the wallet has a good number of coins in it!
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] WDC WorldCoin | Official Developer Thread | on: January 23, 2014, 04:19:15 AM
I have tried this repeatedly.  It is bullshit that Worldcoin can not get its act together on this.  Why can't I just d/l from a repository???

Guys you will have to wait until the wallet is synced, sometimes the bar disappears then reappears when discovering new blocks. Just wait all the clients work perfectly even on mac and linux.

Had to quote that for comic effect.  LOL.

I am stuck at "sudo apt-get install libboost1.48-all-dev".  Unable to locate package.  Sad

Any ideas?

Not sure why an Ubuntu installation has to be so complicated.  Surely this isn't the best that Worldcoin can do, is it?  Without a client that works I am forced to leave my coins on an exchange.

Has anyone had any success with the Ubuntu wallet for Worldcoin?  I downloaded the qt-linux-opensource-1.4.0-2-x86-online.run but what do I do with this file?  It won't run, I let Ubuntu find an application to deal with it and I ended up creating a "parchive".  What the hell?  Thanks for any help!!!!
Follow these instructions http://worldcoinforum.org/topic/21-how-to-compile-wdc-wallet-in-linux/
and remove ~/.worldcoin/peers.dat before starting ./worldcoin-qt for the first time.

Thanks very much for that.  I am trying it.
