601  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: June 22, 2023, 01:24:42 PM
There is no absolute guarantee in the process of using and trading on different platforms, but I think it is safe enough for me and many people who are confident enough to accept the transaction. This market is not new for people to have doubts, things that fail or fail over time will be purified and people will know to choose but what is right for themselves. Sometimes we have our own problems in life too, even though we know that food may have dangerous substances one day, we still choose to eat it.

The problem of the reliability of exchanges is a serious problem. There is always a risk that the funds you send to the wallet of an exchange can be frozen for some reason. OTC trading is more reliable if you use escrow. However, you need to understand that there are no absolute guarantees anywhere.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing serious, just my own thought on the crypto crackdown. on: June 22, 2023, 01:16:26 PM
I also think so. The strict regulatory approach taken by the government, particularly through the SEC, is aimed at protecting users in financial troubles. Even though it looks strict, it is driven by the desire to ensure a safe and secure environment for crypto transactions. However, this strictness may inadvertently cause some crypto users to become more cautious and secretive about their involvement.

Personally, I don't think the SEC's goal is to protect anyone. Banks are even more unreliable now (how many banks have already collapsed in the U.S. due to misguided government policies) than cryptocurrencies. The SEC is an unnecessary monster manipulating the masses. I hope the director of the SEC will soon be fired.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin high transaction fees is a disadvantage to small business owners on: June 22, 2023, 01:07:52 PM
Bitcoin transaction fees, of course, are a demotivating factor. If you need to send $10 and you have to pay $20 per transaction, you will naturally use something other than bitcoin. I ran into this problem myself recently - and I had to wait for transaction fees to come down.

605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: June 20, 2023, 04:10:32 PM
The deposit bonus is an additional incentive. However, it is not easy to withdraw this bonus, as there are always certain conditions. Essentially, a person has to pay a certain amount of money one way or another. And one must have good nerves not to lose everything in pursuit of fulfilling the conditions that allow the withdrawal of the bonus
606  Economy / Economics / Re: The SEC is right. It's not about Bitcoin, it's about centralized shitcoins. on: June 20, 2023, 04:05:29 PM
The SEC works solely in the interests of the big owners. Any stock exchange or project can declare itself bankrupt, and no SEC can stop it. In fact, anyone can go bankrupt, because nobody knows how things will really go tomorrow or later. What is happening now is just a game of big people.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: Lucky you do not sell to blackrock on: June 20, 2023, 04:02:05 PM
In my opinion, the major exchanges are aware of manipulation. Perhaps most exchanges have one behind-the-scenes owner and are run from a single center - they operate too synchronously. We see the official owners - but the real owners are always behind the scenes. So we should not trust false moves and make rash actions on emotion.
608  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: June 20, 2023, 03:53:55 PM
There is always the possibility that when you store money on cryptocurrency exchanges, your account could be blocked or your assets frozen for whatever reason. This risk is always present - regardless of the size of the exchanges. Even if you always keep coins in your wallet and then decide to sell them and send them to an exchange - then you too can become a victim. Don't trust exchanges? Use OTC.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: The new U.S.-China agreement is a "forced friendship. What awaits the world ? on: June 20, 2023, 03:48:12 PM
What is happening now is a kind of conditional respite. The U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 2024, so now the U.S. administration is trying to score extra points for itself. I don't think we should attach much importance to such agreements, because they reek of hypocrisy.
610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can i get the crypto whales signal??? on: June 17, 2023, 07:22:33 PM
Does it make sense to follow whale signals? Usually these signals are delayed. And you buy on these signals when you should have been selling (and vice versa).  I used to follow the signals, but did not see much point in doing so. Yes, you can make a small profit over time, but you can also lose everything if you don't get oriented in time.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Should the Fed stop raising interest rates? on: June 17, 2023, 07:15:23 PM
A pause is necessary. And changing the interest rate will not solve all problems. Of course, the interest rate is a convenient tool for manipulation, and the Fed takes advantage of it. Price fluctuations during the Fed meeting allow to make good money at the moment of sharp movements up and down
612  Economy / Economics / Re: 85% of AI start-ups will fail within 3 years. on: June 17, 2023, 07:10:33 PM
They will probably all merge into one suite that is controlled by one very powerful and rich entity. The .com bubble included many fads that varied in themes, they couldn't really come together under one company or umbrella. Each were their own company on the internet. AI on the other hand, are all AI. Mergers will be frequent to remove competitiveness and increase collective work, rather than knocking each other out. It's not a competition to build a product first, it's a collective effort to improve the same thing. Quite interested to see how it plays out!

It is unlikely that all this will combine into one big package, because the owners are all different, after all. Yes, in the end only a few will survive - so it is very risky to invest in such projects (in fact, most projects give similar results, so it all depends on the ability to present themselves)
613  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 16, 2023, 03:33:00 PM
Yes landed property is a good investment no doubt but when you compare its return on investment rate with Bitcoin over time, Investment into Bitcoin will outperform the Landed property, let's for instance you put $20k into Bitcoin and also use $20k to Buy a land and keep both for the period of 5 Years,

Base on Bitcoin's historical data, the $20k you put in BTC has the tendey of doing 2x, 3x or even 4x in the price because BTC would have gone into its halving phase which reduces its inflation rate and cut its supply which would make BTC become more scare and increase its demand, and another point here is buyers are readily available to buy your BTC.

While for landed property selling that land at the price of 2x or 3x after 5 years has less probability to happen and too buyers are not readily available because their must be some price negotiations before selling the land.

Again, your assumption is based on the fact that bitcoin always goes up in value at a distance. However - it is an assumption. Just because something repeats itself many times doesn't mean it will always do so.  Bitcoin can fall 80-90%. Can land fall in value by the same percentage? The probability is much lower. Keep in mind that you may need money unexpectedly at any time. You could potentially sell land quickly, but what do you do with bitcoin if it has fallen in value in the meantime?
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing serious, just my own thought on the crypto crackdown. on: June 16, 2023, 03:27:21 PM
I think I buy your opinion of that of Americas action in addressing things as pertains to other nations and individuals but that does not mean that Other nation's and national can not do things freely.

As for Sam, it is unfortunate that investors lost funds entrusted to him to manage. From the looks, it is likely that he masterminded everything that has happened so as to make it look no one amongst the team is involved in the process but he forget that he is the sole custodian of the exchange as the founder and nothing could happen without his consent.

I believe that there is nothing hidden beneath the sun  and one day, everything would come to the limelight.

Often the head of the stock exchange is a nominal figure. And in fact the business is run by others. This situation once again shows that you should not keep a lot of money in exchanges, because at any moment there can be a collapse of the exchange. And you have to be careful with promoted cryptocurrencies - maybe they are promoted only to be destroyed later.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 16, 2023, 03:23:29 PM
But don't forget that owning a house has to pay taxes which may increase every year according to the conditions in that country. Everything is very difficult nowadays because even if we own a house, we still have to pay taxes.

And if we rent a house, we don't pay taxes but still pay the rent. Buying a house is the best choice if you don't mind paying taxes every month.

So before deciding to buy or rent a house, we have to calculate everything. If necessary, we can ask the tax office to find out the tax costs if we buy a house.

When a foreigner buys real estate, he pays much more taxes than a citizen of the country. Therefore, it is not always more profitable to buy a home than to rent. Moreover, if the property is not in a very good place (and this can not always be understood immediately - sometimes you need time), you can simply terminate the lease. If the property is owned, it may not be possible to sell it at the purchase price
616  Local / Альтернативные криптовалюты / Re: TERRA on: June 15, 2023, 04:10:34 PM

Terra Classic.

617  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your personal debt reduction method aside the debt snowball method? on: June 15, 2023, 03:32:19 PM
As much as possible I am avoiding having a debt 'coz that is where struggle begin in terms of financial aspect. But yes, there'll be times you would be pushed to do so. In paying debt, Snowball method would be a good way to settle but most of the time sense of urgency should be applied especially if you have multiple debt wherein sometimes, as mentioned, has interest, and that should be prioritized to have a progress. What we should avoid is paying a debt using another debt. There are times this is effective concerning urgency as well, but it will just eventually be a cycle and nothing will be totally resolved. So I'd say urgency with adjustment of your expenses, would be the best way to pay debts.

Pay the debt having interest first then those which are not, make sure to fill the gap even little by little. It would be hard to pay all of it simultaneously but atleast there'll be progress and it won't be a shame to where you have borrowed the money. Create adjustments with your expenses such as choosing to walk if the destination ain't too far. Choose to cook at home than to eat on restaurants. Create an alternative to buying a new one if possible.Or simply choose to struggle now to eventually be comfortable once debts are settled.

There is another problem - some banks offer to pay interest not immediately, but, for example, after 180 days. But if a person forgets to pay a certain amount, interest is charged at double the rate.

As for loans - it is good advice not to take out loans, but there is always a force majeure (for example, illness).
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake support? on: June 15, 2023, 03:27:10 PM
Too late to realize their wrongdoings because they are too selfish not to see the good things it contributes to their people. Given this example to China and with the growing numbers of countries that support and adopt crypto, they'll be moving back on it. I'd see how the countries compete with each other and they don't want to get behind with other but rather make the extent of their power and crowd support. As China opens the door to crypto again, I'm very certain that it will give a huge impact on the crypto space, and prices will surge high again.

The Chinese usually think through their actions well, and if they seem illogical to some, it is quite harmonious for them. They decided to attack cryptocurrencies to streamline mining and change the game. Now that the doors are opening again, things have changed from what they were before.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 15, 2023, 03:22:00 PM
Investing with land is only possible when you have enough land. If you don't have land, can you or I invest? You have 100 acres of land and you are not doing anything there. You can sell half of the land and invest in bitcoins. But of course you have to be patient.  Must be. If you want to invest immediately and get profit then it is not possible. You must be patient. After investing in Bitcoin you may have to wait for some time. May be 2 months or 1 year. You don't have to have land and it must have price.Yes. If you can sell the land at a good price then invest in Bitcoin and keep some money in the bank to get a profit every month.

There is another problem of investing in land - its intended purpose. If it is a horticultural association, it will be problematic to build a house or set up production.  People do not always study the documentation and are unpleasantly surprised when various circumstances come to light. And land can not only get more expensive, it can also get cheaper. And it is much more difficult to sell land than, for example, an apartment.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chat GPT do a TA about bitcoin on: June 14, 2023, 02:14:15 PM
Yeah, I think when something that is a bit more current and a bit more that can check the data of today comes out, which will most probably, then we are going to see something but it will be always risky. I mean it's clear that we can always use the current setup of chatgpt, instead take it and feed it all the information we should, like basically upload all of CMC and that should more than enough, and then it can check the chart of it all and then we could see it give a bit of a solution or answer to it.

But will you really trust an AI and do what it says? Hell if it is actually doing alright and making you profit, then everyone would use it and then whatever it says will be very hard, it will always change based on who enters the last.

If you could trust past time charts, and if everything matched up, almost everyone would be making money. But sooner or later things go wrong.  If an event is repeated 3 times, there is no guarantee that the fourth time will be exactly the same. This is why ChatGTP should not be trusted - it bases its analysis on the past.
