601  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature and Forum Campaign Question on: July 05, 2023, 05:05:47 PM
If you read the description on boards like the serious discussion,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=250.0
You would understand that the board is trying so hard to focus on issues at hand, many time members only post to meet up their post count, with the no signature on a board it limits the amount of users going to that board, then those who goes there are actually interested in the discussion.

To your second question, there are some boards that are spam filled and bounty active filled, an example is the Altcoin discussion board, most campaign Managers don't like it because if it's huge entry by spamsters there by leading to low visibility of the signature of their participants that post on such boards. And besides every campaign manager has their own rules and you are not forced to apply, if it doesn't fit your style you look else where
602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can DEX Replace CEX as the Future of Crypto Trading? on: July 04, 2023, 08:33:31 PM
Why would anyone ever think Centralized exchange would replace decentralized exchange in the future. The only way I see that happening is if government takes over crypto-currency which I think would be impossible.

The advantages Decentralized exchange has over centralized exchange is much and I think the only reason anyone is using centralized exchange is due to the way they understand crypto-currency. An experienced person in the ecosystem would readily for decentralized exchange because of the privacy protection they can get from it over centralized exchanges
603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which will be best non-KYC exchanger after Ku-coin? on: July 02, 2023, 09:55:13 PM

604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 02, 2023, 09:01:23 PM
The Declan rice deal is fast becoming one of the hardest deal to come to pass in recent years, arsenal has really giving it their all to see that this transfer pulls through and even after Manchester city had made their interest known and latter fell back admitting they can't match Arsenal's deal the mover of Declan rice to north London has still not happened yet.

I believe if Declan rice doesn't move now he may never move again and it may just be another Harry Kane situation where the player never leaves or leaves when his form is completely dropped.
605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not your key not your wallet on: July 02, 2023, 07:54:20 PM
There are two red flags here for me, firstly you left your funds on an exchange that's a big red flag and then you are using a centralized exchange that requires you to set up KYC process with is definitely going to be a process of you giving out sensitive information to them.

Well it's a personal decision, if you are okay giving out those information you can go ahead and give it to them also you can consider the amount you have on the exchange and then be able to make up your mind about leaving it or going ahead with the kyc requirements.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How big is your optimism for crypto investment? on: July 02, 2023, 06:44:25 PM
I never needed them to make me feel very confident in Crypto-currency, besides right now I am more confident in Bitcoin and the confidence goes down as we go down the coin market cap list.

Bitcoin don't need no introduction it has had brilliant come up and has gained my trust in no small measures but that doesn't eliminate the risk, any thing can happen when hold crypto, the Market is volatile, so if you are into crypto-currency for investment purposes always go with what you can tolerate if lost.
607  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Misuse of Bitcoin by the Nigerian Government on: July 02, 2023, 06:34:25 PM
They have been using the fiat system and the larger money you still in Nigeria the higher the chances of you getting away with it, I think you are putting your question in a way that says Bitcoin would enhance the government looting and embezzling active when this actives has been going on for a very long time now

Further more they may have already adopted the means of using Bitcoin and what ever purpose you use Bitcoin for should not mean Bitcoin serves a negative purpose nor should be blamed solely.
608  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 02, 2023, 05:58:16 PM
It depends on the people involved, a billionaire that makes his money not on social media nor those he need  his image as influence, if such person ever have a public fight is either it's real or he is planning on using the publicity as his new strategy.

I am familiar with celebrities, influencers using this strategy to actually remain relevant in the their craft, does it work? Yes this strategy works very well especially when a musician is about to release a song or album, they use some of this strategy to gain audience.
609  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What Wallet Do You Store Your Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2023, 05:47:38 PM
Let your priority when selecting a Bitcoin wallet be more of safety rather than interest, the aim of you holding Bitcoin already is because you are optimistic that it would be able rise and give you returns on investment so why worry about interest.

You can buy Bitcoin from other exchanges not just the one you were recommended, you can choose from decentralized or centralized exchange, I use the former. Or also you have the option of peer to peer but be safe use an escrow.

To your question,I make use of electrum wallet to save my Bitcoin, you can also try out cold storage wallet that keeps your Bitcoin offline.
610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which one of this is important most? on: July 02, 2023, 05:33:57 PM
My advice to you mate is to try and learn English further you are far from being poor in English, it's extremely hard to understand what you are getting at.

I would be going with what I think other understand from this and that's you can't be a poor poster and rank up here on the forum you would not be able to get merit and there by hou won't be able to rank up.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: July 01, 2023, 08:56:23 PM
Well the tax laws are different across countries while it's mild in countries like mine it's very strick in other countries, some countries has a 40% tax rate which is very harsh, in honesty evading task is a crime regardless of if we think it's good or not you can be punished if you are caught doing so.

I would be brief about this in other to be a law abiding individual of a country you must always Respect and obey the laws and regulations guiding that country.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: July 01, 2023, 07:57:07 PM
Well I won't blame anyone for being pessimistic about the economy, if fact how it looks like is many countries of the world especially the developed countries aren't concerned at all with the state of the economy they have rather found other not so necessary. They are mostly interested in power that's why we have wars going on and countries are more bothered about how another country rules themselves and they the want to interfere.

I believe the state of the global economy is dieing because we have started to have the wrong government in charge and they all have misplaced priority.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KYC propagation beyond my ownership on: July 01, 2023, 06:58:17 PM
Good question but this should not appear strange to you and this are situation that can happen to anyone even those outside of crypto-currency. Imagine you gave your care to your friend to run a close by errand and he just quickly uses it to commit a crime and unfortunately the plate number was spotted but not your friend. Logically after the plate number must have gone through some checks you would first be called in for questioning then you would have to prove your innocence, it's unfair but it sure does happen so in this case you have to maintain innocence and then investigations are Carried out

Or better still don't give our you sensitive information to any exchange there are Decentralized exchanges you can choose from.

You can get more information about decentralized exchange on this link
https://www.google.com/amp/s/cointelegraph.com/learn/what-are-decentralized-exchanges-and-how-do-dexs-work/amp
614  Other / Meta / Re: Is Ban Evasion same as Proxy Ban? on: July 01, 2023, 06:42:39 PM
If you are free to not watch but to also post then there is nothing to worry about mate. You are just unlucky to be in a location that's branded an evil IP.

Good question nevertheless and we in the forum don't know your motives for coming to the forum but for what ever it is try as much as possible to keep it in line with the rules and regulations that is governing the forum and you would not have to bother about permanent or temporary ban.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it painless to control a multitude??? on: July 01, 2023, 05:49:36 PM
It's not an easy job at all to be the number citizen and head of any government, it's one that demands more of a servant than a leader because a good servant makes a good leader. But let's not forget all the countless incentives that comes with being the leader of a country.

also the running of the country can not be possible without the masses and the general public everyone actually have their part to play in all this. And with many government being corrupt it's not becoming easier to be head of affairs than be an ordinary citizens. Only good and passionate leaders can step out to talk about how difficult the job is.

616  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore this Classic Business Law or Follow Your Instincts? on: June 30, 2023, 09:52:49 PM

They say do not invest in what you do not understand which was largely the principle the speaker adhered to but what if despite not immediately understanding the business model and its profit making model yet your business instinct pushing you to invest. What should you do? Listen to the former or follow your instincts?
It's most times only missed opportunities we talk about and regret over, those opportunities are not always let to go silently, but we fail to understand that having principles has also saved us a lot of money that we never went to check out, so it's not safe to suggest an outright Jetson of laws and principles.

Well if the professor have no idea of what the business was about the best thing he could have done was to go on to try having the basic knowledge of it and also asked those in that field. Think be should blame his approach rather than laws and principles.
617  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Board explanation for newbies on: June 30, 2023, 08:41:53 PM
It's not rock science mate. Many of the board here on the forum has a name and those names are very self explanatory. For example this board in particular is called beginners and help and as the name implies it for primary to help newbies out and also help members that has any difficulty such is the case with other boards.

In addition boards has a quick introduction attached to them that explains to you what the board serves at, all this isn't difficult you just have to read properly
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: June 30, 2023, 07:51:09 PM
Gambling can be fun until it turns into a strong habit, I have nothing against gambling and gamblers I am a gambler myself and it has never affected me negatively. And there are times gambling has provided finances for me that was very helpful.

The issue is getting addicted to it, you don't only get addicted to drugs, smoking you get addicted to anything you don't have discipline to control, if you are a well discpline person and no when to walk away then you have no problem.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: June 30, 2023, 07:03:33 PM
Its widely said that human want is unlimited the more you get the more you want so financial freedom has to do with finances but also how you channel your mind. What you consider financial freedom I may not consider it a financial freedom so I would be using my own point of view

I come from a country where your work more and get paid less, so if I am financially free I would definitely stop working for other and even the government. I would want to leave a legacy for my offspring and atleast stretch the financial freedom across generations, so I would have some establishment, real estate, industrial production. Well definitely I would go on some expensive vacation to explore the earth.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.k Approves Cryptocurrency As A Regulated financial Activity. on: June 30, 2023, 06:19:39 PM
This news may sound great but If you look at it critically you would see that the UK government has this all planned out properly, they are coming from the angle of trying to make crypto-currency to fair and safe. But in the long run this may lead to centralization of crypto-currency in the united kingdom.

Am not against government in crypto but if they have other interest then I would not celebrate over it, some countries like mine had brought out another strategy by creating their own coin but that failed.
