601  Economy / Economics / Re: this pandemic have made me do research on things i never tought before economy on: November 28, 2020, 07:32:06 PM
You see, I was in cryptocurrency for more than a year and I never knew there are other economic reasons ( such as fundamental) that drive value of Bitcoins and altcoins until pandemic started in the Asian part of the world.
Covid-19 made me know how the traditional financial institution works, how they are move by economy and inflation including printing of more dollars.
Other education factors include racism, yes US experience one and I really learnt how we can be tolerate each other regardless 0f our differences. The hardship was real with covid-19 especially the third world countries.
Some countries are back to normal but businesses were heavily affected, this why we should all learn to be in peace, if there should be a world war |||, it wouldn't be funny for everyone in this world.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: November 28, 2020, 03:34:47 PM
As long as people find crypto interesting it would live. As long as people get interest from crypto - it would live. As long as people mine and invest huge amount in equipment - it would live. As long as people hold their funds in crypto - it would live. As long as people did not close their credits, which they have take to buy crypto - it would live. I see no any possible way crypto would die. And why should crypto even die, while where is so much undiscovered and unachieved there.

What do you possibly think is the reason why many changes from traditional financial instruments and began to adopt cryptocurrency. When forex where hot cake in the 20th century, I believe everyone then would say it's the future way of waking to wealth but today, the interest has changed, the taste is now bitcoin because of its pseudonymous, volatility and decentralization.
Banks thought they would be path through financial bodies but they are all changing today, with crypto wallet you can be your own bank and send value without middle man.
In the future, we should expect changes, something better and more efficient will likely replace bitcoin.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe support and resistance still work in crypto? on: November 28, 2020, 09:58:38 AM
Trading idea is common which everyone applied to be safe when the market is running and one of the cool strategies of technical analysis are resistance and support. They work most of the time but one should know that we have strong resistance and weak ones same applies to support.
Take bitcoin for example, 10k should be. Strong support for Bitcoin, 14k-15k might be another support for Btc but wouldn't be that strong to for traders incase there is massive FUD and sell off in the market.
However, this techniques doesn't apply to the market once fear, uncertainty is involved in the market, that's the period every one exit the market regardless of profits and loss. It once happens during covid-19 market sell off and it was a terrible experience.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or XRP whose percentage of the price will increase very high in 2020? on: November 27, 2020, 08:52:36 PM
2020 is almost over already and ethereum has to be leading the chart. The news around Ethereum was super bullish but ripple got nothing much going. It was reported of ethereum launching their upgrade this year which is to commence in December.

The year is already coming to and end with just few weeks. The market comeback was awesome and many never expected the recovery so dearly and Swiftly. $3.7k Btc to $19k can change anyone life.
Comparing Ether and Xrp isn't something difficult, though this week sell off didn't favour ethereum. Xrp was slow in recovery not until when Btc start making big moves.
Eth2.0 updates was great and the result has good impact on its value and price but Xrp didn't, despite the news and updates the team.
The year isn't over yet and Dec 1 is ethereum upgrade, I believe ethereum has more value to increase as soon as upgrade start.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite shopping cryptocurrency? on: November 27, 2020, 04:03:19 PM
I will be looking forward to get stack of bnb, that coin is back by nothing but the reputation of CZ has been the backbone of that exchange utility token from launchpad to fee reduction for maker and taker and many more. The value doesn't tank anyhow regardless of Btc performance.
Ether is my second choice, as the network upgrade roll out with updates, the value will like improve and increase in the future. Getting some before December 1 wouldn't be a bad idea.
Lastly Chainlink, that gem altcoin hasn't been making moves recently but that oracle has a lot to offer in the long run.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Ethereum dropped 15% in only 1 hour on: November 27, 2020, 10:04:15 AM
BTC price dropped and everything followed, price correction is to be expected since the market had been pumping a few days ago. It was not just ETH but almost everything in the market dropped.

There inflow of large amounts of Btc and ethereum which indicates whales were ready to dump on the market. So, there was panic and reaction with traders, hodlers, fuders. This made everyone to sell their holding and market plummet and sank.
I still believe with few days, we will definitely break all time high.
Ethereum network upgrade is coming by Dec 1, there should be more demand by network validates as they really need more ethereum to stake once other platforms start giving out space.

Etheir ways, buy the rumor and sell the news, that's the only way to win in this game.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the long awaited bull run? on: November 25, 2020, 02:57:04 PM
Comparing the current market movement to that of 2017, it's kind of synonymous and a pointer to the start of bull run. Although some parameters differs and will have impact on this current one (if so) which might limit the longetivity and price impact and people might be carried away till the reverse begins to happen.
Please share your views if this is the bull run we are waiting for and how long should we expect it to last?

This is pure bull run as BTC an other high  coins on market are about to make new all time high. But critically looking at altcoins situations, they will bleed badly because they haven't really been following Btc movement except for Xrp, xlm and ethereum.
Take your profits while the market is smiling at everyone because when market cycle complete, altcoin will suffer the most.

Currently, Btc is consolidating but they are all red, only few that are been move by whale are making little progress.
608  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: November 24, 2020, 09:07:46 PM
I'm sure other people already pointed this out, but the crypto transactions are permantently stored on blockchain.

Even if you use some mixing schemes or something like that, eventually your transactions can be tracked if you represent a serious interest to some agencies with high-tech tools.

Not when you use monero blockchain network. Monero is completely untraceable and untrack transactions that's why most hacking transactions and kidnapping happens. They feel its very easy to exchange values through monero, that's why even the dark web make use of it everyday.
The government agencies are only trying to break down the network by launching a bounty, perhaps they might succeed in the future, hence for now don't under extimate scammers, they can take away your love savings and goes free.
#stay safe my friend.

609  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: November 24, 2020, 03:57:29 PM
You are pain and I know why. Every Trump supporter has been a wailer crying behind Biden and Obama is antichrist. There is nothing shameful been a loser, we all failed at a time but just have to move on to get something on the other side but it seems you and your 1 time US president is finding it difficult to accept defeat and congratulate Biden.  Grin Grin Cheesy

No world is coming, not today, not tomorrow. If you had leave in the 19th century and witnessed thousands of people that were killed, you wouldn't wage war at any country. Islamic terrorists are political driven if you ask me.

Crypto will live until another form of unknown currency will appear, Bitcoin will not rule forever just the way US will not rule the world forever.

Let there be peace and love one another, enough of killings and mass destruction of properties
610  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: November 24, 2020, 03:49:59 PM
every time someone wants to invest, all forms of risk must be ready to accept because I think the price of gold requires a high level of patience, especially if they have to bear the capital they use of the loan,It really scares someone when things don't go according to expectations.

Ip has also failed to address that one need knowledge to invest, you can't just throw your money on something you know nothing about, hence acquiring such knowledge and utilizing them to acquire profits is a skill.
There are instances people invest and add basic trading to earn, it's also a skill which is unique to every individual. Including fundamental analytical strategies in cryptocurrency is also important, you can't don without these basic knowledge and understanding.
Seeing how market is moving with speed approaching a new all time high is fundamental, once you are not well informed, one would have sold Btc @ $10k.
In conclusion, there is skill in every industry and its very important.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 23, 2020, 08:16:24 PM
I just don't understand these bounties and the people participate in it. I would like to see them get lost from this altcoin discussion section.

Bounty is just one of the ways of making some dollar bills on the forum, like your account ranking member, you can participate on signature campaign and earn some $$. If you combine social campaigns, you can earn at least $100 from promoting a particular project.

To op, I have work with Bubbalex and I have never miss my payment for once, the last DIA I participated was a bit delayed but the tokens came true. I haven't work with Hhampuz but his reputation speak for him on this forum, I will work with him in the nearest future.
I advise and recommend everyone to ignore any Bounty that is organise by Bounty detective, they don't do proper research as many turn out to be scam with low payments or exit after stealing user data's
612  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SECURITY] CLONE Trust wallet on Google play store on: November 23, 2020, 10:58:37 AM
I was going through this thread on how trustworthy Trust wallet is since they are created and managed from binance lab. I have been using the App since 2018 and I haven't experienced any difficulty or bridge of security.
So, I decided to check on others reviews and their satisfaction, behold I saw another clone trust wallet on Google play store. They have the same features but different name. It's name TRAST WALLET

I ignored the app and checked on the main Trust wallet reviews and i confirmed everyone was satisfied with Trust wallet service. I went back to checked on other clone wallet, the reviews were warnings not to download the app.

Apparently, 2days ago, a user reported to have lost $20k to scammer after using a fraudulent mobile application claiming to be the Uniswap exchange. Out of curiosity, I checked this Trast wallet on play store, the reviews were deleted.

When downloading an App, check out the number of downloads and reviews from Google play store, use the link recommended from official website before download to avoid security bridge and lost of funds.
From the image below, one can see the difference and its clear
Please stay safe.

613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 22, 2020, 10:03:20 PM
There is huge number of them that are listed on coin market cap every week and they all the same, just one of two do have great volume to begin with.
More projects comes with different ideas as soon as a new trend emerges and the latest one is DeFi. Out 10 project that are listed 9n market cap weekly, 9 of them are always about DeFi with the same idea, nothing new but juts staking and mining bullshit.
If you want to do your self a favour and don't want to be caught up on pump and dumps, you should avoid most of them except you want to buy at presale with a bonus that an cover up your loss incase of any dump. This is also dangerous though, I have witnessed a recent project, Lattice exchange ( another DeFi) was hype but price is below the presale price and the rest of their toke lns is vesting till a particular period. This is why is considered it unsafe.   Undecided
614  Economy / Economics / Re: [stocks] is there a good benchmark to compare yourself against for value invest? on: November 22, 2020, 08:27:20 PM
I was looking at trying out value investing and deposited a small amount on two exchanges to test it. My issue was I did this straight after the crash (when I was bored during lockdown) so my total gain atm from these - tiny $100 buys - currently stands at a higher return than expected (no leverage, just pure stock value) ...

I'm now thinking I've picked a bad time to do this (especially since the companies I invested in had solid returns and were at least 80 years old). But now I'm wondering if there's a way to salvage comparison statistics against how similar stocks should've performed - ie should I look at average gains from a pool of other potentially undervalued stocks I thought were too risky?

US oil was one of the come back stock that crash during the covid-19 market sell off, but are you also aware that during that crash, many traders couldn't make deposits to their brokers, hence only the existing deposited funds were able to purchased the flash. I wonder how you bought your stock during the crash. Pure manipulation and centralized entity shouldn't be an option.
Buying a value of stock without laverage wouldn't really give high return, maximum 100% which I doubt you will make easily on stock.
Going the crypto way and easy way should be an option, Ethereum from yearly low would have give you more ROI without laverage anything. Eth2.0 would have been a plus for you.

My two cent and opinion, don't take it as investment advice.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is why btc will die as a crypto on: November 22, 2020, 05:47:01 PM
I think op made a mistake, it should have been micro Btc instead he wrote up Btc. I was checking the transaction got some minutes until i saw that the transaction is just a dollar bill.
According to Satoshi Nakomoto, he created bitcoin as a purely peer-to- peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without any third party, the fee has been Okay if ask me. Have you consider sending $20k via PayPal or banks and then compare the fee to when sending 2btc to someone? Definitely Btc is way friendly and cheaper.

We have been hearing bitcoin will die over the last 10 years and look at it today, stronger with cool value.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 05:51:07 PM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?

If you are real investor and looking for a long term investment, you would probably do the same and have all funds in bitcoin. Many altcoins are still in recovery mode since last bull run that was hype by ICO flame. Almost altcoins died, few survive but hardly fully recovered.
So many people rush into altcoins without even knowing the meaning and aim of them. They were hoping to double their investment and when the whole scenario didn't goes as plan, they frame bitcoin as ponzi scheme.
This current bull run we are experiencing is healthy adoption fuel by PayPal, institutional investors and influencers. Altcoins will grow generally but that will be when Bitcoin is consolidating on correction.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 21, 2020, 11:40:58 AM
We have another good news from another company who's also creating a vaccine, Moderna.

And with this news, we saw bitcoin just broke $17,000. What a very good day we had.

Now that Trump is out of office, I guess all Americans will believe that covid-19 is real shit despite that man in white house insisting that covid-19 wouldn't affect its economy. But even with months away before public taste, do you really think most people will believe to go for this vaccination? I didn't blame them, Human has becomes it's own enemy instead of protecting one another that's why so many people dislike vaccination with trust issues.
I remember some months back when Bill Gate wanted the government to vaccinate everyone, we need this to safeguard everyone.
I also hope governments of in every countries take other proper measures to avoid such artificial virus that will make the whole world go brouhaha the second time.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexico's billionaire invests in Bitcoin on: November 21, 2020, 11:16:04 AM
I read an article in Cointelegraph that currently based on survey results about 73% of millionaires are starting to be interested
in investing in cryptocurrency. So Mexico billionaire finally decided to invest in Bitcoin maybe he didn't want to be left behind
to feel the profit from Bitcoin, I believe Bitcoin can reach an all time high price if more and more rich people decide to invest
in Bitcoin.

There is a shift in financial and investment taste. Everyone are becoming smart each day as the world changes around us. In traditional markets, it will take most of this millionaires years to gain more wealth that's why they are diversifying their wealth portion into cryptocurrency. Thank goodness to Satoshi as everything is so transparent and readable as transactions are made each day.
Imagine investing in Gold for the last 10 years and all you cooud have gain is 10% when an you can be a whale in chain link with and double that funds with ROI of %100.

They are investing on bitcoin not just because of it simplicity but because they can easily make huge profits in short period of time. Imagine buying $100m of Btc when price was around $5k Kiss Kiss
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 03:00:47 PM
It's simply because of the difference of the supply that circulates around the market.
ETH and BTC are different when we start to talk about scalability.
Consider as well that many people are into Bitcoin, but that doesn't put ETH into the corner.

This is wrong. I know supply actually determine the rate of buy and sell but you should know that even if bitcoin supply is more than 21 million, each Btc can be price at $50k/Btc. It's actually what price the buyers are willing to bid and what sellers are asking. It's just like the way auctions work in localities, that's how order book determines its price.

Looking at ethereum, one can deduce that its ready to explode as soon as Eth2.0 goes live as the current price remains at $506,thr next resistance is $610 and hoping Btc price don't flip this as 2020 all time high.
If Btc dominance should shift, altcoins will go gaga, and ethereum will be the leader.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there really only 2 types of Altcoins from a Investor's view? on: November 19, 2020, 09:12:55 PM
One thing that's common about this altcoins sometimes, it's either
  • First they are hype as a promising projects either to replace ethereum and Disrupt the crypto industry but you will be supprise how they dump instantly the moment they are listed on exchange, it can happen on any exchange including binance. They have shit coins on that exchange too
  • sometimes, early investors pump the this token to build a strong buy order book and then sell on the noobs. The next is, the noob becomes depressed in lost and look for the nearest person to sell to, and that's how the loop continues until the project tokens or coin becomes worthless.
  • That article was created  ln 2019 but do you know that many DeFi projects belong to oscillators. Check out DeFi market, you will be shock how they have drop drastically from euphoria stage.
