601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think China will lose by banning Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2022, 07:44:03 PM
No country can do well in this contemporary technology world. If any country ban Bitcoin in this digital economy, the economy of that country will not do well as other countries that have accepted Bitcoin as their legal tender. In this contemporary world, the youths involved massively on Bitcoin and a country adopt Bitcoin it will boost the economy massively.
That is true, world is going more and more technological and that means if a nation bans something that is cutting edge tech (even if it's 10+ years, it’s still brand new) then they are going to be left behind. China should realize that they are forced to let bitcoin be whatever it is, they cannot just ban it, because if they do, and others don't then other nations will benefit from it whereas Chinese people will not be able to.

This is why they are going to make it legal and regulate it eventually and that will profit them a lot. Imagine just one huge government controlled crypto exchange for all Chinese people that deals between all banks, so you can turn fiat to crypto and crypto to fiat, that company could be bigger than even binance.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 02, 2022, 07:08:05 PM
The unfortunate Anderson has not only continued to fight in the UFC in his relatively old age, he also continued fighting despite a series of losses. Poor legend. Not only that, after he ended his UFC career, he shifted to professional boxing losing 2 of his 5 fights and even faced a much younger opponent in Jake Paul.

Has he not made enough money in the UFC to stop fighting altogether and retire from sports for good? Possibly, we all know how Dana shares his profit even with his prized fighters and champions.
He's career will totally end here since its huge lose for him to get defeated by a youtuber. I don't expect to see him fight for another match because its like he's totally done after this huge defeat he encounter from Paul. We can say that this is really an unfortunate state for a called legend and he need to retire with that status since if he keep losing for an exhibition match for sure people will mock at him and ignore or forget his legendary status earned from UFC.
I don't think he was fighting for anything before this neither, these are all "I have a known name, let’s use that to make some money" type of fights for a long time now,  and he can still keep doing that for sure. I still think that there was something shady if you ask me, Jake is not as good of a boxer as people think he is, he has a good punch there is no denying that, and he does have a solid chin, but his accuracy and his defence is a joke, so anyone who knows about boxing would know that Silva should have taken him.

Very weird situation that Jake is still boxing at this point, I would have assumed he would be humiliated already, a youtuber turned boxer doesn't sound like it makes sense to me tbf, but he keeps on shocking the world, interesting.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 02, 2022, 05:32:11 PM
The pressure is on Arsenal side, Chelsea will not let Arsenal win easily at their home. Chelsea are trying to bounce back after being beaten by Brighton and improve their position in the table. Arsenal, who are still being chased by Manchester City in second place, must win to secure their position. This moment is very crucial for Arsenal, ahead of an important match they have to lose their flagship striker (Saka) who suffered an injury against Nottingham.

Losing points makes his position threatened if Manchester City is able to get a win in another match. While Manchester City who are in the best condition can easily beat Fulham whose quality is weaker than the opponents Arsenal will face. Chelsea will be putting up their best fight to secure his place, the Aubameyang factor could also make this match very exciting considering the way Aubameyang left Arsenal which was underappreciated. Chelsea will not waste the chance to win in front of their fans, I predict this match will be won by Chelsea with a score of 1-0.
I do not think that it will be as hard as people imagine. Arsenal is a great team and I am pretty sure that they will end up with an easy win for sure. Chelsea has been struggling for a while now and even lost to Brighton terribly, and that means Arsenal as a team would be easily beating them. Arsenal had a great season so far and I am not seeing them let that slip away with Chelsea neither.

Of course, there are losses when you least expect in football, but that doesn't change the fact that Arsenal is high favourites of this game. I will for sure wager on them to win, if I lose then I will lose, not like we win all of our wagers neither, so this would be another loss, but I trust them enough to bet on them to win against Chelsea.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 01, 2022, 06:38:51 PM
Real Madrid will have to replace Benzema but that player might be another one, not Mbappe
I read in the local media if Anceloti was interested in Gabriel Jesus. Since leaving Man City Jesus has performed very convincingly. Anceloti reportedly ranked Jesus as the number one buy in the transfer market this winter. He's 25 years old, I think it was a good moment. They had a long time for Jesus. I think it will benefit Madrid in finances. Hoping with Mbappe is difficult, PSG have made an expensive clause for him. So I don't think Madrid need to expect him anymore.
And he is not that old neither, he is quite young, just 25 years old and could be bought for no that much money. Will he be the world star they are looking for though? I mean there is a huge gap between Jesus and Mbappe and I do not know if they would accept that.

My opinion is that Mbappe is better than Benzema, even if you don't think like that currently, I am sure you can agree his age is a benefit, but Jesus is much worse in my mind and that's why it's a risk. Shouldn't Real look for someone who would be an amazing star? I feel like someone at 100+ million range type of star would be better. Even if not Mbappe, some other star at that level would be fine.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Growing Money is Knowledge on: November 01, 2022, 06:41:41 AM
Investing is a good way to grow money, but if we don't learn how to invest properly, we will not be able to grow money and will lose the investment money. This is what we have to realize, but unfortunately, people tend to choose investments only because of the invitation of others. They do not think about or seek more information to decide or choose their investment. That's what causes many of them to fail to make a profit in the future. And yes, every type of investment will certainly have risks, and they tend to be unprepared if the risk is not what they imagined. To anticipate this, they must be willing to learn by collecting more information to choose the right type of investment.
I have to say there are not a lot of people who became rich by just investing. Sure, Warren Buffet is a good example, but when you look at the top, you see that building something is a better way of getting richer, instead of just investing.

If you want a regular amount of "wealth", like what would be enough for you to live without ever needing money, depending on where you live it could be 100k to 1 million. In that situation you could invest and hope to reach that level, but even that would be quicker if you had a successful business instead. This is why it's smarter to just focus on what you could build with the money you save and invest, instead of keep doing that.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Competition in business on: October 31, 2022, 06:25:49 PM
Consumers are the biggest beneficiaries in this case, without competition, monopoly products will be sold at high prices and with no quality assurance, no choice. But once there are many products of the same type competing with each other, consumers have more choices in terms of design, quality as well as the price will be much cheaper.

And for businesses, competition means innovation and it drives business growth. If you do not want to lose to your opponent, you must constantly innovate and improve quality, then will help increase revenue and help your business go up.
Competition would be exactly like you said if it was fair in the world that we have right now, however there are huge companies that can destroy competition and become a monopoly as well, that's the trouble. Smaller companies could end up with building something that is better and cheaper, but the bigger companies just straight up buy them and that would be the problem.

If amazon for example could buy your product directly that would be bad for you and you shouldn't be looking out for a hope that happens, it wouldn't really be fair and competition would be gone. I personally would prefer if there was a way that you could limit a company to grow only so big, and then seperate in to two companies to make it fair.
607  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 31, 2022, 05:48:31 PM
I hope that next will be more profitable in our Part as Bitcoin Holder than the previous months of this 2022.
November is a thing, last year's ATH happened in November [$69,000 on November 10] so there might be a slight increase around there. But I don't think it's a good guideline to assess the chance, but I do believe some strong fundamentals will have an impact on November prices.
That's the kind of month that I love so much. When it doesn't go up that means I can buy cheap, when it doesn't go down that means all the ones I bought so far doesn't lose value, which means it stays the same price, I am neither losing more, nor I am losing a chance to buy at this price neither. It's the perfect month to collect as much bitcoin as you can, and that's what I tried doing as much as I can.

It's not an easy task, it's definitely a hard one, but at the end of the day it's not going to be an impossible situation neither for bitcoin to go up and make me happy too. I would be happy of the price going up, I just don't feel like it's a must, it could stay and I would still feel happy.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 30, 2022, 06:54:11 PM
Pole for Verstappen, with good Mercedes on p2 and p3.

It will be an interesting race, Mercedes can only win strategy here since it will be very very hard to overtake (if they can follow Max)
They have all the time they need in the start because there is a huge big straight before they arrive at the first turn so they can play a team game here and both Mercedes cars to attack Verstappen. If Max gets away in the first corner that is most likely game over but let's not forget also Perez which will be extra motivated here and even he has an equal chance to come out first in the first corner because of that big straight.

On strategy I doubt Mercedes can make a better strategy than Redbull unless they are willing to try a different approach,as we have seen in the qualifying there were nothing different to try,all the cars were using the red tires.Even for today race most likely everyone will go with a 2 pit stop strategy.
I do agree that Max would be in the biggest danger during the first straight, considering what George did to Sainz last week, and what he has done quite frequently before, Max needs to be careful about something similar, and if he can get away from both of them at the first turn and come out at the first place, then he will definitely not going to be doing anything harder after that and just take the race.

Even in that situation it's hard if both Mercedes drivers are chasing him, it would cause him to lose a lot of tire, and he would have to pit quicker as well to keep up at the top spot. It will be a fun race to watch for sure, Red Bull vs Mercedes again.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 30, 2022, 05:50:20 PM
It's good to see teams that are at the bottom last season like Orlando, Detroit, Sacramento and Houston getting their first win after 4-5 games.
It's also good to see teams that we know that are tanking this season having more than win like OKC who has now 3 and Utah that now has 4.

Seeing the Lakers, the only team right now that still has no win is a pain in the eye and seeing Davis getting injured again and didn't play against the TWolves is a problem for them. Well, looking at their roster alone is enough to say that they can't be a playoff contender and Lebron can't carry the team anymore which is understandable knowing he already is 39 years old. His aim this season is to beat Kareem's scoring record which is achievable.

I might disagree to what @Russlenat said that the Nets are way better than the Lakers. The Nets have way better roster than the Lakers, but they still only have 1 win out of their 6 games and currently they are at the last spot. I mean yes, the Lakers doesn't have a win yet, but it will not stay like that forever because for sure they will get a win. Many are rooting for the Nets to win a title this season because of how good their roster is, and they are the top 3 in the sportsbook in the teams who will be most likely to win the title and yet they are performing like this. It's my opinion only though and for me, the Nets are worse than the Lakers.
It's always expected of Davis to get injured, that's the thing he does, ever since he became a player in NBA he has always been injured, there is a way of his body that just doesn't compute with each other and that causes him to be injured all the time.

It's just not possible for Lakers to fight for a win with this roster, they knew this, they were aware that their team sucked, they realized last year that this team can't really win much, and even with that info they still ended up playing with the same roster for some reason I do not know. I know that it's not that hard, but I believe that trades needs to be done in order for Lakers to get better. They need to get rid of Westbrook for starters, that's the biggest problem.
610  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: October 30, 2022, 02:34:30 PM
I think it is a controlled experiment to see how many people are playing from Canada and what games they might make available to them on that Server. If you look at the UK Server, you will see that only a limited amount of games are available.. so I think they want to do the same with Stake.ca  Huh

The thing is..... most players are simply going to use VPNs and continue playing like they used to. It will get tricky, if they want to withdraw their funds after a big win on Slots that they are not supposed to play on.  Roll Eyes

"Stake will continue operations in Ontario under our new Canadian licensed & Canadian regulated website, stake.ca." - Stake Telegram
That is literally the way people do right now. The joke as old as time itself is the fact that eddie is playing from Australia which is not allowed in stake itself lol. So if you think that people will not do the same, when the owner himself doesn't follow his own rules, then you are too naive Cheesy.

Canada could be blocked, but you will just pop up a vpn and then start gambling here. That type of "rules" are usually there for legal reasons and not for what stake wants. They are forced to say you are not allowed, but you are secretly very well allowed and that's how you would get in, just like how eddie does. That's why there is no problems with the current vpn situation for anyone.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: October 29, 2022, 09:49:32 PM
Gold is a great asset.

But it has a significant drawback - it is a direct competitor to the US dollar.  There is an opinion that the US government is very wary of all its competitors.  However, gold appears to be a highly undervalued financial asset.  If the US loses even a little its role as the absolute leader of the financial world, then gold has a chance to rise in price significantly.

However, in this case, gold will have to compete with bitcoin.
Gold and Bitcoin can work together there’s no need to compete, It’s always good to have more choices to fight inflation and the future of gold will be fine. There’s still a demand for gold, and it’s more stable compare to Bitcoin on a time like this, Gold is a good option for your short term goal while Bitcoin is better for long term.
Gold has surpassed its life span for the regular people to make any logical investment in the long period of time to profit us a good wealth. You could put 10% of your salary every month into gold and live a 40+ year career with it, and when you are done you are going to have something good, there is no denying that. People who can do that, which is a luxury in itself because not many people can save 10% of their salary, then you will have a good retirement fund.

However, in a world where bitcoin can bring you 100x more than what gold can bring with the same method, do you really want to invest into gold? Governments can do that, because they want less risk, but people like you and me don't have to.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 29, 2022, 09:23:32 PM
It looks like AC Milan is the team that is most aggressively reshuffling the squad in the next January window, Maldini has already pocketed several names of players to strengthen AC Milan's front line in the second half of Serie A this season. One of them is Armando Broja from Chelsea who is plotted as a replacement for Oliver Giroud next season. Well I think Maldini knows the ins and outs of this player and I hope he can be the right signator for AC Milan front line. Besides that, there are several other players' names that have been plotted as signings in January.
Right now, things are favoring AC Milan for having another good year in league, and they are currently second with chances to be taken first spot because right now difference is six points, and they have one match in hand their position in Champions League is also stable with most chances they could be progressed into next round just because of this coach feeling he needs to improve strength his squad and have better options which can give them better results in second half of this season.

Right now, they are Lazio and Atlanta which are chasing them, so it's good idea to bring quality players and having their power up as this is surely interesting end of this season with they can win title second time in a row which could be amazing for them in presence of big giants which were at the top before start of the season.

BTW, are HI and LO games the same as dice roll games? because I often mention HI and LO games on freebitcoin dice roll games  Grin
Yes, it's the same. When you play a dice game, you can choose whether to bet on High numbers or Low numbers. It's the most critical decision you make no matter what payout/chance you bet on or how much money is at stake. That's why people also call this game Hi-Lo.
thank you for your answer, to be honest I'm a little confused by the discussion friends here, I just understood the difference between games on freeebitcoin HI and LO only guessing high and low numbers while in the dice round game you can usually set bets with a chance of a few %
It's both quite similar, but also not exactly the same thing. In dice you have high and low as well where you have to guess if it will be higher or lower than a certain number when you roll the dice. At for example 50% chance, you have to say will it be under 50 or over 50 to win, quite similar to here.

So, there is really no difference to speak of, there is one where you are also gambling on numbers, and dice is not really a dice, that's the difference. Dice is something you should physically roll normally, in a world where "there are numbers between 0 to 100, set a level and say if it will be under or over that number to win something" is not really dice, and that's why people mistake them as anything dice related when in fact dice doesn't really have anything to do with it.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall still possible? on: October 28, 2022, 07:03:31 PM
Now, it's not just about the basics; it's also about how the developer teams will strategize their way through the winter. In response to your inquiry, this line of reasoning leads me to believe that there is, indeed, the potential for a further decline. At the moment, the majority of tokens and coins, including bitcoin, are moving in a somewhat stagnant manner, with little to no meaningful movement. People are currently waiting for the next movement to occur before they can forward with their plans.
I'm not really sure what you meant, I mean they should developed, the strategy part is with the CEO or any other management team behind the project. And I think that's one downfall of any project because everything was rolled into one for the developer, they become the programmer, the marketing arm and every, that's why the project failed in the beginner.

And as investors, we should prepare for the worst specially in this bear market.
There is definitely some problem with teams who try to do everything themselves. If you are looking for a good project, it needs to have 1 thing that is clear, which is funding. If they have proper funding way before they start, and then they end up hiring people, and not just one person, I mean people as in group of people for each position they need, then they will become better. Having 3-4 developers, 2-3 designers and then 5 people for all else (marketing and community and social media etc) means that they are actually working on it.

However, most projects are one man operations, or 2-3 people at most, all of which try to build it from their skillset and be partners together, instead of hiring people who would be actually capable of doing something.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is a puzzle ! on: October 28, 2022, 05:32:39 PM
Exactly, no one knows about what will happen so what we do is do the best, sometimes life looks strange because success or wealth is not directly proportional to intelligence, I have friends who when stupid schools don't even graduate but they can succeed, and Conversely many friends are smart when school but their lives are difficult and only become production workers.
That's why life is unique because indeed what we expect sometimes will not happen,
what you say is true and I agree that in life we should always try to do our best,
Regarding the result, I think we can only surrender
There is a bit of a disagreement on what to live for between religious people and non-religious people and that could solve all this problem. If we have just one life, and one life to live then we should be living it as best as we could, but there are people who believe that if you live now and die, you may go to afterlife and everything will be better there, hence they push through the bad parts of life.

This could be good, or this could be bad, it could be good because it allows people to force their way out of bad periods of their life, but it could be bad because they rather shut up and move on instead of make their life better as well. Find the right balance, and you will have a great life.

I already told u.
I got blocked by the Internet Provider, he asking again I will answer it's mirror link or other people are gonna to respond/answer before I answer. RIP from my country ~XD I already never playing in main site.
Stake main domain Stake.com is also blocked by many ISP in my country. I always use Stake.games mirror link to access the site. I know that you are unable to access Stake through the main domain, but it won't be difficult for you to rewrite the mirror link to post the main site link here Smiley. I do it before posting any link of Stake in bitcointalk.
Unfortunately for me, when I try to join via VPN it doesn't load up games, it means that without VPN I can't open up the website, and with VPN I can't open up the games, with this logic I would not be able to gamble at stake at all, basically stake is telling me to go play somewhere else normally. But, the reality is that I tried using ToR and that works, or I tried certain paid VPN's and that works as well.

Basically, you have to overwork to make it happen and that’s the tough challenge. I always say that stake needs to fix their situation, it’s a good wbesite but needs a lot better VPN friendly approach to their casino, it would really bring in a lot of people.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 28, 2022, 06:26:20 AM
I read about player transfers and now it still involves the name Cristiano Ronaldo. Now, Ronaldo has been linked with interest from Napoli for a move to Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the January transfer window.

Napoli are currently an unbeaten team in 12 matches in all competitions. And they just got a big win in the Champions League and made it through to the last 16, and now that Napoli are on track to win the Scudetto in the domestic league, I see there is no weak sector that Napoli are currently experiencing, their squad is doing well- It's fine even though it's not involved in the January transfer of players.
That wouldn't be too far off, dude would be a good help to Napoli, they are the leaders so they do look a good target for Ronaldo as well and everyone would benefit from this. However, Napoli is already doing good, even though Ronaldo could be a good help, do they need help?

A team that is unbeaten in 12 games doesn't really sound like a team that needs to make any transfers. It has added bonus but risks as well, like what happens if Ronaldo comes to the club and ruins the chemistry? A lot of people said the same for him about United too, a team that was second a year prior, became worse when he joined and doing fine after they cut him from the lineup right now.

I wouldn't exactly say 'surprised' as Red Bull has one of the best drivers currently in F1 and still has the car on the grid.  It was more like a situational bet.  You get a scenario that Verstappen's opponents should've taken advantage of.  Especially Ferrari.  But due to Sainz's DNF and Leclerc moving down to 12 on the grid, how could they?  It's prolly just not meant to be.

Anyway how many more races?  Mexico, Brazil and back to the middle east?  I want it to be the next season please...  Lol.  There's nothing to anticipate in this one.
Three more, maxico, brazil, abu dhabi and thats it then we are off to the new season. It’s going to be quite boring however to wait for next season and this new regulations and new car is not even there yet, the 2026 regulation changes will give us the big big change, it is going to be insane, both new cars that we have now and everyone works on the car (the chasis, the wings, the sidepods etc etc) but then in 2026 we are going to get HUGE technical changes to the engine and the works.

I am not worried about this year or next year, but I really cannot wait for that 2026, we are going to apparently have Audi as well who I assume will be last for first year, but that year will be the most epic in a long time, EVERYONE will be starting fresh, and we can see a race where aston martin and williams winning and mercedes/ferrari/redbull being at the bottom and losing. To be fair it will probably not be like that, but it could definitely see huge changes in the order.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 27, 2022, 07:26:21 PM
I don't know what's wrong with Barcelona's management, I think it's good as expected but the results of his campaign this season are not very impressive. Barcelona failed to advance to the last 16 of the Champions League actually not because they don't have good management, it's because 3 out of 4 teams in the group are strong teams and I think people shouldn't ignore that.

The problem is not as complicated as I think, I really see things differently from their performance in Laliga where Barcelona are able to maintain a consistent game with only 3 points away from the leader of the table. This season's Champions League is difficult for Barcelona, the same may be recognized by all the teams in the group but if Barcelona are ready on all fronts then the result may not be the same.
Indeed, in this case we also cannot ignore the fact that in their group there are Bayern and Inter but it is clear in terms of actual performance that Barcelona is more superior than Inter.
Their consistency was disrupted when some of their core players were injured and it became a bit complicated when Xavi couldn't make up for this with the existing players so their balance was a little shaky with the hectic schedule and some big games that had to be passed in the midst of their condition not being 100 percent strong because of some problems. their players leave.

But that doesn't matter now because they have nothing to say now and have to accept that their place is the Europa League.
Inter is definitely worse than Barcelona in many aspects but the fact is that it was just 6 game series and within like just 4 games Barcelona already lost their chances. Bayern is not unachievable levels for barcelona neither, at the start of the season when they built this roster people believed that they could have finished the group at top, or maybe fail and be second but beating Bayern wasn't impossible.

Now looking back, not only they lost to Bayern but they didn't even manage to beat Inter and that’s their problem. This is called underachievement and when a team does that, usually they need to overachieve somewhere else to make up for it, which they only have league left.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Metaverse still a thing on: October 27, 2022, 12:36:31 PM
I've heard of news not so long ago about Decentraland, one of the biggest and most funded metaverse projects out there having a measly daily active users of less than 40. On the other hand, Meta, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's answer to Metaverse has been receiving flak in multiple aspects of his still in-progress creation. I also noticed that less and less projects include implementation of their project or a fundamental of it in the Metaverse as a form of future-proof answer. So this begs the question, is Metaverse still the future? is it just a fever dream we once had that we are now waking up on?
Well I'm not a fan of Metaverse but some people take the opportunity from the hype to make some money from the investor, I saw a lot of Metaverse Projects end up being scams because from what I  see they only develop a game and even more it's a simple game, not something related to the metaverse. I'm not bearish about metaverse just looking for more projects that really serious about Metaverse tho.
People take advantage of those kinds of hypes and it’s our duty to figure out which one is really working on it and which one is not. I always believed the top ones were the real ones that scam people but do not look like scammers, that’s the saddest thing.

Look at decentraland, anyone who has ever used it would tell you that it’s a horrible subpar project that shouldn't have been at the top, but it was and the project creators earned so so so so much money from it, whereas it shouldn't even be used by a single person since it was a simple project. I could have done it in 1 month, and people were attracted to it just because of the hype it had. Metaverse needs to shed itself from all those terrible projects if it was to become good again.
