601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 14, 2019, 03:40:32 AM
These altcoins or shitcoins has become an eyesore every time I checked my wallets three wallets full of shitcoins, I'm desperately looking to trade or dump these altcoins, because it just reminds me of wasted time and money.
Are you also desperately looking to dump your altcoins.
Even if they are listed on an exchange platform, who do you expect to come and buy shitcoins into their wallet? You just need to understand that, Once you find yourself in the crypto ecosystem as a bounty hunter or as an investor, you are highly likely to own some amount of shitcoins in your wallet.  You just have to leave them in your wallet.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: October 14, 2019, 03:23:09 AM
Interesting article about the death of ICOs and the emergence of IEO... https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-icos-really-dead/

What do you guys think? I don't think ICOs are fully dead. They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.

Considering the beginning of 2019 till now, majority of projects launched used IEO as their method of crowdfunding rather than ICO. From this, we can all see that ICOs are now things of the past. Most investors prefer IEO making projects having ICO not having investors to support their projects. In as much that there are no specifc differences in how IEO and ICO raise funds to support projects, investors prefer IEO over ICO since it reduces the investment into scam projects....  Currently, ICO is somehow dead.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi on: October 14, 2019, 03:02:48 AM
The only question will be interested in finding out from satoshi when having dinner with him be on why he decided to build bitcoin and also decided to stay anonymous without adding his identity to the bitcoin's whitepaper..
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 14, 2019, 02:13:00 AM
Looking at the patterns at which the market value of Bitcoin throughout the beginning of 2019 till now, the market price of Bitcoin might be very worth holding till the end of this year. Based on my observations and analysis, it is quite possible for the market value of Bitcoin to hit $15k before the year 2019 comes to an end. This makes bitcoin worth holding till the year comes to an end.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2019, 01:21:41 AM
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over.

First and foremost what you need to know and understand is that, Bitcoin is not really taking over banknotes. The number of people using or who own bitcoin are not that many comparing to the number of people who have no idea of what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is or its existence.  Cryptocurrency might take over but not any moment from now. It might really take a long time.
606  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Africa isn't poor - Africa is being raped. on: October 13, 2019, 11:30:02 PM
I laugh at my continent when foreigners call us poor. You make a statement online about the continent or any country in it and the first thing that comes to people mind is "That poor country or poor continent". Who is to be blamed for all these, it isn't just the leaders anymore but the people are to be held responsible because they voted those leaders into power.

The image below shows you how wealthy Africa is and if she wasn't being raped she would had been the richest continent on earth.

What my continent have failed to realized is that power won't be given to you unless you fight for it. If the world was a fair one most African countries would had been among world leading country but instead we get treated like slaves and our wealth is been enjoy by other continents. What a shame Angry

From the marvel movie "Blackpanther" i believe the solution to the continent (Africa) problem is to act as the past Kings of wakanda did with their natural resource: Vibranium, they should learn to manage their resources themselves and later they can sell finish products to the outside world.

The word poor or poverty is used to describe the state of mind of someone or a group of people. In as much that the continent Africa has all this resources, once you don't the necessary mind set and knowledge on how to utilize the resources, you are poor in the aspect of knowledge to utilize the resources. The continent Africa has an assumption that it needs the help of others in order to survive.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: October 13, 2019, 11:19:52 PM

This chart is showing you the top 200 coins performance against bitcoin. It's clearly who is outperforming here. Bitcoin is the king of crypto. Alts got rekt specially when bitcoin made a move like Jagger on the 1st April. But that wasn't april's fools day! Or was it?

https://twitter.com/woonomic/status/1161320822344179720

This diagram does not really show anything different  than what we already know about Bitcoin and its not even really clear. There is no doubt that bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies in all aspects.  In as much that some crypto coins are showing a lot of potentials in relation to their market volume and market cap, Bitcoin will always be the king and father..
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: October 13, 2019, 11:00:00 PM
Hello traders. What's your opinion could BTC kill banking system? Bitcoin has an advantage over fiatbecause its amount is limited and it can't fall under inflation.Inflation usually is caused by monetary policies of our central banks. Bitcoin is free from inflation, governement control and  high transaction fees.Banks can’t control BTC because it has no representative and is fully decentralized. That's why banks are afraid of BTC.
How do you expect Bitcoin to kill the banking system when less than 1% of the total number of people living on earth know about Bitcoin and the remaining 99% have no idea what Bitcoin is and the purpose of it in the financial ecosystem. There is no way Bitcoin can kill the banking system. It is a silly idea to even think about this..
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Store of Value or Method of Payment on: October 13, 2019, 10:51:29 PM
I've recently meditated on this thought. We all want businesses to adopt bitcoin as a payment method and people to pay with it, but I think most people are rather avoiding to spend their BTC as they see it more as a store of value that will bring wealth to them over the next years. So they are more likely to keep their BTCs and spend the fiat currency, thus the use of BTC in day-to-day transactions won't probably go up until people actually get their wages in Bitcoin denomination. But in order for companies to enable that so it will be convenient for both the employee and the employer we need to have the infrastructure in place, including regulations and major stores in the cities accepting BTC.

What's your thoughts on this? Do people prefer to spend their BTC or do anything( maybe even taking a loan) to protect them?

Looking at how people in the crypto space  see Bitcoin, it is officially an asset of value rather than an alternative avenue for making payment. Bitcoin always remain a store of value even if it gains mass adoption. People will hardly see Bitcoin as a method of payment . People will prefer to store and hold onto their Bitcoin since its value might be worth twice its initial amount now.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: October 13, 2019, 09:22:07 PM
Back in the days i used to disregard some pennies of my bitcoins in several exchanges thinking that these coins would never be worth it looking at its price at the moment. However, this idea came into my mind about some few weeks ago that what if Bitcoin reaches a double of its previous all time or even greater once this long awaited global adoption sets in.

Seriously this made me think twice and have made me roam through all my exchange accounts and wallets making sure that i have access to them in order to cash out all those pieces of bitcoin if they ever become worth it again. This may sound quite silly but i am quite optimistic about it Grin

Well, I don't really think it is worth it  doing. tiny piece of Bitcoin will not be worth anything even if the market value of Bitcoin is $1 million dollar. You don't need to waste your time on this.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2019, 07:25:00 PM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?

I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?

Why will you lend your bitcoin to someone when you can hold onto it and still make profits as the market raises. For me, I don't really believe in the idea of lending cryptocurrencies to someone. What if the person decides not to pay back and run away with you coin? There  is no way you will be able to get your coin back..
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity VS tracing transactions. on: October 12, 2019, 07:19:24 PM
Whenever bitcoin transactions anonymity is discussed, there are two groups of people. The first group think of privacy of users and the second group think of those bitcoins have been stolen or have been used for illegal transactions.
We cannot have both anonymity and possibility of returning stolen bitcoin to their real owners.
Which one do you choose if you have to choose only of them?
If you choose the second option, please answer the question below.
Now, what's the difference between bitcoin and fiat?

The content of your post doesn't really match with the title of your post. are you trying to compare anonymity with tracing transations or the difference between bitcoin and fiat or the legal and illegal issues with bitcoin concerning what people thing about bitcoin ? I'm confused trying to understand what you wanted to share here...
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: October 12, 2019, 07:13:32 PM
Have you ever seen a father replaced by his son or daughter as the head of the family? This is the same way altcoins can never be able to replace bitcoin no matter what happens. Bitcoin is and will always be the father and king of all cryptocurrencies even if its value drops to a dollar. People just have to understand this.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 12, 2019, 07:03:10 PM
Bitcoin is an online currency.  Even if started with a lower price.  Now its value is beyond the reach of ordinary people. But, nowadays, it seems that Bitcoin is losing its popularity.Because, not receiving validity in low income countries. It may be the main reason.

What exactly are the reasons why you think that Bitcoin is losing its popularity. You need to provide us with facts to support this your claims. You can't just make claims without having any thing to back your assumptions.

This is a exactly my point.  People just create post on this forum without having any tangiable reasons or evidences to confirm the things they share here. Bitcoin for the past two has seen a rapid growth in its market economy which shows that it is constantly growing.  Bitcoin is all over the internet and news platforms..
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: October 11, 2019, 08:20:52 PM
It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.  Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie.  But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value.  Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

ATTENTION: We are about to enter altcoin season right at the very bottom, there will be some explosive move coming....Please hold firm.

Much love to all altcoin holders (especially those that hold HST decision token)

Stay safe, and see you all at the very top of the next altcoin season.

Peace out Cheesy

And why do you want to hold onto coins that do not have any future in relation to its market price? It is better to sell rather than holding onto them with a false hope that it might be worh something in the future to come. The future of most altcoins with no specific impact and influence on the crypto ecosystem are not very good. It is better to sell now than never..
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: October 11, 2019, 07:59:32 PM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.

Looking at the altcoin market at the moment, no one can actually tell or predict if altcoins market values might increase any time soon. The altcoin market is one of the difficult aspect of the entire crypto ecosystem whose market value of most coins can be predicted. Since the increase is usually not more that 7% or 10%.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 11, 2019, 07:53:48 PM
Why are people always wanting the dominance of Bitcoin to go down?  Bitcoin we all know is the king and father of all cryptocurrencies and has no competitor in terms of market value and volume. Libra may have some potential features but there is no f**king way it will take the dominance of Bitcoin.
618  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we looking at Bitcoin down to $5K? on: October 11, 2019, 07:44:47 PM
The entire Bitcoin market ecosystem is full of huge possibilities and it is very likely that Bitcoin might drop to $5k but there is also a possibility that it might also hit $10k before October comes to an end.  We just have to watch the market and invest strategically.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 11, 2019, 07:40:13 PM
The Bitcoin price certainly affects many things. It can help us gauge adoption along with other metrics as well as the sentiment of people who are currently invested.

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. It is the currency of the internet designed as a super hard form of money to challenge many status quos.

Even if we were to pay more attention to the price. Many of the people worrying don't know the basics of TA. I'm here to tell you that if you own any amount of BTC you are riding a rollercoaster that is affected by adoption, politics, whales and many other factors out of your control. The one thing you can count on is the math, The fact that is was the first, the 21million cap, it's security, and the torrent of frustration it brings older businesses who have grown lazy and abuse the masses(banks).

From a TA standpoint (i'm a noob with a background in music but i've been studying and doing paper trades for years now). Bitcoin has been consolidating for a few months after a pullback from a 1 year high. The fact that it's been trading in the range its at means that the whales and traders who bought in late can't affect the die hard HODLERS who were already in the market in early 2019. You can find articles explaining the demographics of Bitcoin holders. Those who bought in at 10k+ were the ones selling.

Other than that we have some whales playing in the ocean.

Remember this is about change and technology.

If you believe in the ideals money is more than likely to follow.

Be well!

The only people who are constantly worried about the market price of Bitcoin are those who have the assumption that Bitcoin is a get rich soon investment venture. They don't really understand about the entire nature of the Bitcoin market ecosystem. Once the price starts dropping, they begin to panic and make all kinds of FUDs. True Bitcoiners do not get worried when its price drops.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Thing That Could Stop Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 08:36:32 PM
Though China can have a big impact on bitcoin since the largest hashrate in mining bitcoin comes from China and even the powerful mining hardware are also coming from China. The antminer series that are hot stuff on the market are made by bitmain which is located in China. Also the electric cost in mining in China is much cheaper compared to other countries. But even though that is the case even if China dumps all of its bitcoin and all miners in CHina stops mining and even if bitmain stops producing bitcoin mining hardware bitcoin will not stop. Other country will see this as an opportunity and will replace China, remember as long as there is profit companies will race to catch that opportunity.

how sure are you that  the largest  hashrate of bitcoin is coming from China ?  I don't really think and believe that china produce the largest hashrate of bitcoin.  Russia and other countries also have some impact in the hashrate of Bitcoin. You need to provide evidence to your claims before I will believe this..
