601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zimstake (ZS) - NOW PURE POS - No IPO / PreMine - SHA-256 New Wallet on: July 09, 2014, 03:17:03 PM
Well, congrats to all of the community! It looks like we will finally be listed on MintPal, like so many have wanted.

In keeping with giving the people what they want, later this evening once I get off of work, and after we have been added to MintPal; I will post a brief plan/overview for ZS. This will be things I have most likely mentioned in IRC or at least spoken about before. It has come to my attention that having all my plans listed in the OP and clearly visible to all would benefit the community. This is not a "press release" or "announcement" to drive the price up, but a clarification of my intentions for ZS.

Anyway, congrats to all for the great work everyone has done!

hellowww.. why is it so silent here, has the discussion moved to elsewhere ? we're sinking just like titanic and yet no words from CryptoGir as promised 2 days ago
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Isiscoin - ISIS - X15 PoW/PoS - 14% PoS Interest - Tor Whitepaper - 7/3! on: July 09, 2014, 12:30:07 PM
Can someone please tell me why nearly 1/3 of the coins are sitting in this address:
i6yKdgup2F7j8FL2KkLGntymkfDFsSCH3N

According to the richlist:
http://isis.coinzone.info/RichList

Cheers

Mining pool address from Dedicatedpool, most blocks were mined there, seems many haven't moved the coins yet. Maybe they waited for an exchange like mintpal.

And what will you expect when miners move their coins to mintpal ? massive dump is about to happen

Dev very silent on such big news   Roll Eyes

Indeed quite negative reactions on the mintpal twitter by adding ISIS  Cheesy

It is now overvalued on mintpal, some idiots keep buying high. Soon they will regret it

ISIS was just added to Mintpal.

I cant believe mintpal added this coin, well... expect a massive dump on mintpal as usual, get prepared for the worst! I could be wrong though
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | Encrypted Messaging | Privacy | No premine on: July 09, 2014, 04:40:40 AM
Nice mini pump, finally I can see a big green bar on the chart, it won't last long though but still it's a nice pump after 3 hours stuck at 4,9k

Hi guys. I am in touch with cinnicoin. We are in the process of taking over the social media. We have a new member who will help with social media. He also have MBA and some experience. I am in the process of creating a teamwork on asana.com waiting the community movement volunteers to send me their email. THere are other ideas/projects coming soon. First we need to get social media going, so we can promote other stuff. second project is on updating the website. so all be relaxed. No need to panic. Battbot did some good work, but lately his focus shifted anyways.

Is rynomster still on the team? Is the anon and point-to-point retail system still being worked on or is this a completely fresh restart?

They've avoided talking about it, so my best guess would be it's not existent or very little progress has been made. Otherwise, they'd be talking about it.
CinniCoin dev, please feel free to correct me. We'd all love to hear from you.

I think rynomster is still part of the dev team, he was last seen to be online yesterday and his signature remains the same as it was

Damn look at the price, knew I should have bought more when it was down in the low teens!  Roll Eyes

I bought JPC with a big part of my money at 27k and now I am still at lost. But I'm not worried about the price, I think JPC will recover naturally with time.

Cryptogir, I am pretty sure you have had time to read the forum as you were seen to be online few hours ago. You need to say something, or get someone to do it on your behalf.

I am not going to bother you with a PM, but i would like to read your statement, what is going on with development? People start loosing patience here
608  Economy / Services / Re: Passphrase recovery on: July 09, 2014, 03:33:26 AM
Kinda related but whats the current estimate on 8 digit brute force winrar crack?  Is that still years also

To brute force the entire 8 digit winrar password with 96 charset (mixed upper and lower case alphabet plus numbers and common symbols) will take about 229 years (7.2 quadrillion password combinations)

another good source to compare : http://calc.opensecurityresearch.com/
609  Economy / Services / Re: Passphrase recovery on: July 08, 2014, 09:45:53 PM
A month such a short time make take months or years to recover.

Agree, the wallet would need to be "brute forced" cracked which is currently not an option for bitcoin wallets, especially if it was more than a handful of characters long. The bitcoin wallet encryption is strong by design. To brute force, we need to be able to do millions of attempts per second. This is currently impossible for the bitcoin wallet. A general quad core i7 computer can only makes 10-13 attempts per second.

However, if we have a good idea of the password (and also the length of the password), then it won't take months or even weeks to break it. Hopefully, he knows what the password should have been but maybe he is one character off or the capitalization is off. These common mistakes are the most likely reason that he is locked out of his wallet. Dont be worried, I can offer you some helps.

620  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0029 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: July 04, 2014, 04:04:48 PM
Crikey let me explain.

From the website inside the SSL cert

Quote
CN = www.bitcoincloudservices.com
O = BTC Cloud Services LTD
L = London
C = GB
PostalCode = E1W 1AW
STREET = 46-48 EAST SMITHFIELD
STREET = TOWER BRIDGE BUSINESS CENTRE SUITE 313

Do you not think its a bit odd how the scammer mentioned in the old scam operation is company sectary at this new operation and that the owner seems to run pizza joints in mexico.

Thank you for pointing that out to us, now let's just wait what btccloudservices will say to clarify this matter
