602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hodl, bitcoin will do the silencing. on: February 29, 2024, 06:52:40 PM
How the tides changhed for him. Before in the bear market, people were creating threads on the forum and posting on other social media platforms how Bukele is a dumb president who is wasting a small nation's money for his own benefits and now, we have him being praised as one of the innovator for being the first nation of accepting Bitcoin as a Legal Tender. Everything is great in a bull run, real colors are visible in the bear market.

True as the same people will start criticizing not only those who have invested into Bitcoin but also Bitcoin itself stating it's a bubble, we have seen this in previous bear market is well nothing can change even in the future but since most people will be aware how the crypto market especially Bitcoin works they should be able to take right decision looking at the historical data.

Mark my words even after this bull run when there is a correction phase you will see lot of fuds about Bitcoin and as you mentioned that's when the true color will be displayed and that's when we will get to know how mature the users and their mindsets are.
603  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria Government Detains Two Binance Executives on: February 29, 2024, 06:25:59 PM
Man, Nigeria again. Sorry to hear that Nigeria has been highlighted for so many wrong reasons and it's a country sitting on top of mineral resources but the corrupt regime is trying to message it all up and what do they gain by creating hardship for fellow citizens? Indian government has made similar but worst move by banning Binance and other other foreign exchanges because they cannot implement their 30% profit tax and 1% TDS on every trade. Common between both the government is that they are both corrupt and sadistic to core as they don't want people to live in peace. Hope this is sorted without any disruption.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: February 29, 2024, 05:48:22 PM
I feel we need to hodl on altcoins as it's really make or break situation as we see few Altcoins pumping up suddenly and then dropping down after few hours hence the only option we have is to keep checking out portfolio or set up alerts so that you can sell it's your Altcoin's time to pump. But the problem is, it's really difficult to predict or know which Altcoin will go on rally when. I had same issues in the past as well hence shifted majority of my portfolio to Bitcoin to have some peace of mind.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next higher bitcoin price on: February 29, 2024, 05:20:41 PM
ATH is yet to be breached as it was $69k, secondly how do you term the long term holders as greedy? Hodling doesn't accounts to greed and most of us don't hold or log term and those who do are in better profit margins than those who don't hold. The real problem is people's mindset and that's what you call as greedy since they want to always buy low and sell high, even if they sell at high they are not satisfied they end up buying until the market collapse then blame the Bitcoin for their I'll mannered decisions.
606  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are we gona see one day normal presented and normal talking leaders? on: February 29, 2024, 04:26:46 PM
They are leaders with so much of power and wealth but the arrogance of power and wealth takes better control over them and they consider ordinary citizens as a mere tool which they need once in five years for election and some don't even have it like putin.

It's the mindset which has to be changed because we see how a normal social media influencer changes his behaviour once he or she gets fame and money and these are freaking big dogs so they are hot headed and atleast this generation should vote people to power who are sensible. I mean we know trump don't respect anyone and he is racist as well but still people would give him one more chance this time because they don't have better option.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: China are back to mining Bitcoin. on: February 29, 2024, 03:56:17 PM
China thinks that without them bitcoin will fall, and every time, they come up with one or two reason to ban bitcoin, which their actions will affect the market for a short time. Bitcoin keep putting China to shame that she can survive and grow big without them, which makes them go back into bitcoin activities again. I don't know why the government cannot just understand that bitoin have come to stay and make the country a crypto friendly place once, so that the citizens and other investors can enjoy mining activities with rest of mind. I will not be surprised again if after the bull market, China announces that crypto has being banned again. A confused president that loves to control the life of his citizens, he will see bitcoin as a threat, because he hates the decentralized nature of it.

First of all it's not as black and white as we see it because there are lot of strategical thinking and Chinese government is very cunning as they want to dominate this market and banning crypto or mining is all part of drama as that's what it wants us to see while it have been mining and accumulating as source of wealth. It just cares about its own well being and it's poor citizens has to bear the burnt of sanctions and China cannot be friend of anyone and I don't think BRICS currency will be gamechanger because India will back out because it has more problems with China. China can never stay behind in technologies like mining but it has been running it in government controlled manner as ot has already removed private players through its ban and now it's all for government.
608  Local / India / Re: Any P2P trading platforms that are active? on: February 29, 2024, 03:16:52 PM
Do not use Indian merchants on any of the P2P platforms mentioned by others. If you buy or sell using INR then the chance of your bank account getting frozen is very high. Till today bank accounts are getting frozen when anyone is using Binance P2P and you cannot unfreeze the account easily. It is a lot of hassle for now and most Indians are avoiding P2P transactions on Binance or other CEX.

Yes it's really annoying situation over there as i have seh accounts getting freezes even for minor transactions and I think it's going to become even worse, it's time we need to find an alternative and not try doing it the illegal way because we cannot keep escaping from the laws designed by this good for nothing government as it's killing livelihood of its own citizens who voted it to power.

Bitget is not banned I have installed it but didn't try P2P there. Any idea on it?
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s Soaring Heights and the Unpredictable Journey Ahead on: February 28, 2024, 06:21:30 PM
Bitcoin as an indicator? I didn't quiet get tha. Are you trying to say that when the price of Bitcoin increase you assume that price of other coins will also increase and vice versa, so you are linking Bitcoin's price movement to gauge if market is bullish or bearish but at the same time, that sometimes work only during the bull run not throughout the year and also other coins may provide better profit but cannot guarantee how long it may last as Altcoins may pump and dump, just take example of coins like coti, xvg on how soon it may drop down.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is rising faster and faster, It is time to Buy Bitcoin ! on: February 28, 2024, 05:55:40 PM
Indeed, the price of Bitcoin is rallying and no one would have expected Bitcoin to eventually touch $64k this month itself and yeas there are possibilities it may touch $100k in next six month but only if this momentum continues else it would be a set back. I sense FOMO but yeah there might be really opportunity to earn more profits but should risk more than we can afford to lose.Even if you invest then set stop loss especially short term investors.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who was Satoshi Nakamoto? on: February 27, 2024, 08:32:34 PM
No disrespect to your thoughts but I feel Satoshi Nakamoto is a mystery and very much anonymous and that's the reason he created Bitcoin which follows the similar protocols about hiding one's identity and I don't think we will be able to figure out who he really is, and this name Satoshi Nakamoto itself night be a pseudonym used by the person whom we are referring as Satoshi Nakamoto. We may see such news about mail exchanges and similar ones even in the future like how we have seen in the past but I don't think anyone can find about much about Satoshi Nakamoto but will be always remembered for the revolutionary idea and invention of Bitcoin.
612  Local / India / Re: Beware! Gov Planning a Cracks Down on Crypto Traders Evading Binance Ban on: February 27, 2024, 06:57:39 PM
I am planning to list down other exchanges that can be used by the Indian community as an alternate option to the banned exchanges.
This cat and mouse game is something I personally hate. But well this is India and we have been doing the same for piracy for years now and now the same for crypto too. Roll Eyes

While the ruling party is indeed coming back because there is no good alternative, I sure hope the proper budget this year will have some mentioning of crypto in good terms.

The exchange owners should mobilize and start their own mouthpiece, otherwise no one will be able to do justice to the upcoming bull runs.

I have been closely observing the regime appeasement practiced by the incompetent Indian crypto exchange owners are they are busy pleasing the government and don't forget they said it was a good sign when crypto was regulated in India and moreover when the government banned foreign exchanges they were the first one to be celebrating that move stating now Indian users will come back to them. We should never use them as there buyer/taker fee is on higher side and even the commission is higher compared to foreign exchanges. Let's move on from Indian exchanges and not have any hope from them.
613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you do better than the youtubers when value is going down? Or what..?=?? on: February 27, 2024, 05:55:12 PM
Stopped believing in them long time ago as they don't have much knowledge about Bitcoin and crypto in general but they just use the market situation and randomly speculates things with some catchy tags and clickbait, all they do is if the market is bullish they will pick some random altcoins or whoever has paid them and say it will be on moon and similarly they do for dozens of coins and even if one coin by surges by coincidence they will make it their USP. They just needs more views to make more money and they don't shy away even if it's at the expense of noobs who listen to them and follow them blindly only to lose it all.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Opportunities During Economic Downturns? on: February 27, 2024, 05:35:38 PM
Trust me some of the best startups are founded during these difficult periods out of need and to cater something which can help them earn money and often people don't realise their own worth aa they are enslaved in 9-6 corporate jobs and only when they are in need especially during layoff they focus on something else which can make them financially dependent and I have seen people getting laid off from my company and then earning a fortune as freelancers or starting their owns cafe and few have become full time trader.

But restrictions on ease of business makes it difficult and forced people to take illegal ways of earning money. Government need to have supportive policy or at least neutral policies instead of brutal unfriendly ones.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason behind surge in price of verge ? on: February 27, 2024, 05:22:32 PM
It was like a dead coin for a longer period of time and if we see a sudden urge without any positive news about it or any development then need to understand that it's pure manipulation and we need to stay away from buying in at this moment because we have seen in past wherein those who invest on coins with sudden pump falls into trap and then it drops and remains flat for years. It would be foolish to invest at this moment and already the price has started to dip for this coin.
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull has Started But Not Yet ATH. on: February 27, 2024, 04:59:31 PM
This is bit tricky as this might be just another extended upwards trend and not a bull market and i understand the fear of market as we have seen massive increase in Bitcoin which makes people think what if this is the peak since people are expecting Bitcoin post halving and even if this is bull run which we are going through still some may not believe due to the past experiences. I am happy that I am avoiding this situation by doing DCA as that's the only way to combat uncertainty.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin portrays less risk of financial transaction than other investment system on: February 27, 2024, 04:34:31 PM
Your mixing up to different things over here because trading and investment are two different aspects. I would say Bitcoin in the safest investment when it comes to Crypto currency and yes even for trading it's one of the safest as it eliminates the risk which you have mentioned, but it's not for noob who don't know how to handle it as people can be easily scammed if they fall for scams online like sharing the seed phrase and other sensitive data. If people are educated about Bitcoin and aware of what they can share and what they cannot then it's the best thing for investment as well as transferring huge funds as I would use Altcoins like TRX for low level transfers.
618  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Wars never start becouse attacker have bad attentions idelogy on: February 27, 2024, 04:18:17 PM
It's a messed up world and media is sold out to justify the bull shit where warmongers defend themselves and try to portray that they are doing it for peace to prevail and we all know it's all about power and control. Some are pure dictators like you have in Middle East and Africa while others cover themself in the name of democracy like the war criminal Obama and bush who attacked numerous countries and bothered millions still they are portrayed by media as heros. Everyone wants to control one another and those who refuses to bow down that's when the war conspiracy starts.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do low fees matter most in choosing crypto platforms, or other factors? on: February 27, 2024, 03:52:23 PM
The answer is very simple as it lies with the current market capitalisation as BTC is more expensive to transfer as the fees are higher and it can be crazy at time but why do you think people still prefer Bitcoin over there Altcoins which has almost to zero fees? It's because fee is just one of the factor but we invest based on what the coin has to offer like security and all. Fees don't play major role but an add on.
620  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the challenges of developed nations nation? on: February 26, 2024, 08:32:23 PM
Every nation has its own set of challenges and to name a few though it will have all the facilities but accomodation would be really costly and same goes with food. Inflation i also one of the biggest challenge and I would like to quote example of Dubai, UAE as UAE is one of the developed nation but it's still dependent on imports for most of its food related requirements, you are have countries like Japan which has ageing population and people were once so focussed on work now they have skipped the parenthood. Every country will have one or the other issues be it developed or under developed or war ravaged nation.
