601  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Taking advantage of situations positively on: February 22, 2024, 03:32:48 PM
On a personal level I have thought of what exactly to do in this current economy but it seems like impossible base on my local and my current status as a student. I'm tight currently to partake on a business that is centered on the economic exploitation but for the bull run that I approaching I'm preparing to keep flowing with the rise in price of Bitcoin.

Additionally some people have plans but they can't accomplish them because they lack capital they have tried but their opportunity isn't yet available for them to hit the street. so not everyone is lazy but opportunities varies.
602  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: FG benefiting from dollar rise against naira, Ndume alleges on: February 22, 2024, 03:14:08 PM
My major problem is that even we know the knowledge is more like a waste because they were going to do whatever they like knowing fully well that we are just common people with no force.
The masses are not in form to attack them, so they play us the youths. using us to pay for their sins while they continue, I wish the military could take a bold step then all this will begin to stop, if the military backs the masses up by not taking orders from the government officials especially when we arise for protest then the incubate government personals and politicians will be so afraid because even their personal body guard will look like a threat to them and they can't do without the security this military provides.

If they finally succeed in puting Nigeria youths out of the crypto world then another crisis against the government will arise which I believe they will not want because of the experience they got from the Endsars protest, where other countries where discriminating them as citizen killers instead of taking care of the people they kill them. that experience is something no president will want to experience.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: February 21, 2024, 10:39:39 PM
There is this concept of Bitcoin as a paradigm and that it have surpassed the stage of making huge profit has of before when it all started so developers who saw the opportunity of Bitcoin dash down to copy the Bitcoin code and created coins that people who missed Bitcoin when it was just a dollar or below could probably still be opportuned to achieve such success as those who invested in Bitcoin in the early stage.

Do the concept of Altcoins is to fill up the Gapps that Bitcoin have created and creating more opportunities for people to make more profit. but what is really distorting the goal is the rate at which people create their own Altcoins just to build up the hype and run away with the funds.
604  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: February 21, 2024, 10:27:41 PM
Religion has confused most people, in the case of God existence even the philosophers that brought about science where believers of God existence but what there where only against was the theocratic leadership which also alined with BaDecker statement that the scientist are only there to make a living out of testing and testing theories to prove somethings.

This philosophers wanted the leadership from the priest who where there greatest leaders back then but along the line the concept was twisted to prove the believe of the religionist wrong. although it succeeded and that lead to the science of now.
605  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are most scammers from Nigeria? on: February 21, 2024, 10:08:45 PM
When I see people speak so bad about Nigeria I intimidate them by laughing, yes because I'm a proud Nigerian and i know the truth about my country so someone from another edge of the world can't describe what I know for me.

If you don't know, Nigerians over the world are the best people you can find, we are just consume with the old impressions that have been put on us from old stories. the biggest scams in the world are not even in Nigeria or from Nigerians, people from other countries do scam but it's just that it had been labeled on Nigerians to be scammers.

The government over here is just messed up so there is tendency for thee increase in crime but believe Nigerians are just smarter than people other countries thats what makes them look like bad people. if the energy Nigerians have is focused on a positive way no country (no country in the universe) can be compared to Nigeria. In your country or wherever you're just find yourself in the midst of Nigerians then you will find love and care that even own family can't show you.

Don't judge a book by its cover. come to Nigeria and experience it yourself.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 21, 2024, 07:51:55 PM
The fact that your friend does drug is a very red flag to me and combine it with gambling whether addicted or not it's still such a very bad habit to keep up with. you have tried to share your own nice opinion/suggestion how he should go about the gambling but the drug part could still bring him back to gambling even make him addicted in a very fast way.

The reason your friend is losing on gambling is dependant on two variables which are 1. drugs; when his on drugs he doesn't feel any emotion or complete sense of reasoning, to know if he should continue or not and that's the very beginning of losses. 2. Responsibly; his probably not a responsible person (gambler) hew gambles all way in, from his earnings till it's all exhausted. he doesn't just gamble but even in the wrong times. if only he wins more in the morning then it would have been considerable but yet he loses.

what he need first is to pull him out of the dark side and then maybe start regulating his gambling.
607  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: It's over 4 months and you no wan leave? on: February 21, 2024, 02:32:59 PM
TBH, there is no word in this context that sounds polite especially when it has to do with relatives, if you tell her you will be in her mind forever. it will be interpreted as you chased her and daughter put of your house, basically if the house is your dad's and she's you dad's sis then you're in a very confused state now. but the only thing isa you can keep hiding it must tell her.
Don't be positive when approaching her because it might end up the wrong way so just keep in mind that you're gonna bear a bad name in the main time but will surely end one day.

Just kidding; you can plan a vacation with your fiancé to travel for like a week but dip down you guys aren't going no where when they see that the person providing is about to travel then they will plan to leave before you leave for your travel then you have succeeded.
608  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Forex Crisis: FG plans to clampdown on Binance, and other crypto exchanges on: February 21, 2024, 01:51:06 PM
it is said that "until a philosopher becomes the leader there will be no peace". something of this nature but I can't remember the statement. I'm beginning to agree with that statement, until we have a philosopher as president we shouldn't be expecting change, a philosopher in thia context does not really mean a philosopher but anyone that can think in a very innovative way.

its obvious that our government, from the national president to even the grassroot leaders are the most confusing and hard hearted humans ever, the ban that was lifted is back in another shape it's very much clear to me.

I believe this has nothing to really do with the exchange rate or let's say very little to do with the exchange rate. i believe external forces (world power) has something to do with this new enforcement, they know the power Nigerians have in every industry. if they succeed tiring down binance in the US their next target is Nigeria because we are second to non in Africa and most likely the biggest in the internet so we are always targets. no wonder ex president Johnathan said the forces above are destroy Nigeria not the Nigerian leaders themselves because they know how much Investment reach president has in there country so they use them to manipulate decisions over here.

Now the issue of inflation is based on fuel price the high the fuel price the more our naira gets devalued they know this but instead of tackling the really problem they beat around the bush and make themselves more rich. sooner there will be more choas in the country.

In all my concern is how do we coiners cope with the new instructions that will be placed although I know there will always be a way out. but in the main time it's very concerning, I just hope something gets done or there should be an exposure of the governments evil then there will be calm for a while.
609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start preparing for the next bear run. on: February 21, 2024, 01:21:53 PM
The image below explains it all, I also wonder why people prefer it when bull run is fast approaching, you have all the time to buy when it's very cheap but decides to buy when there is fomo in the market already.

I guess this people aren't really aware of how Bitcoin have been able to prove itself over the last circles yet they don't really trust it. well lets keep sharing the Bitcoin knowledge to see how fast such notion can be reduced.

610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wednesday had been my bad day to gamble. on: February 21, 2024, 09:17:12 AM
In most cases people have times that things always happens around them, and as long as it keeps repeating it's assumed to be a natural phenomenon for them hence after a long period it becomes a believe and then this believe will always work.

If you believe that a particular day is your lucky day grab that opportunity since you believe in it and it works then use it very well, then on the days you don't always win you retrieve from it.

But note that all are just your personal believe it's not virtually really to others.
611  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is this ideal? on: February 21, 2024, 06:32:57 AM
Whenever I see stupid ideas and actions of the elites I laugh, because they usually thinks they are dealing with fools in the country, they think we are still back in the days where they will play such nonsensical actions and people will begin to praise them allowing them to loot more funds. people are now wise, our eyes are open we know what they are doing already.

If you're are not among the elites of the nation you will always suffer the consequences of their own stupidity. arresting innocent people who are just doing their business to claim that they are innocent shifting the blames to the citizens of the state. the sky rocket of things in the country is a strategy to get themselves more privilege to do what they wish to do. I know that the opening of dangote refinery has something to do with fuel price increase but they will always cover the real game with some stupid story but soon the truth will unveil and people will aggressive protest against the government.
612  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Resources needed to run Bitcoin core node on: February 21, 2024, 06:09:40 AM
Building upon what Hatchy and Forsyth Jones have said, running a full node does not just help only you as person to be private in your transactions but it also helps to make the Bitcoin network more strong[1], if there is any help the community could offer the Bitcoin network then running a node should be one.

Privacy is quiet expensive, if you have to be private enough with your transactions around the Bitcoin network then you have to sacrifice a lot bit of your time and resources to achieve that but it has been made easier through the Bitcoin pruned mode[2] this means don't longer need store every of the Blockchain data in your device storage but can use as little storage as you can afford.

If you're new to the Bitcoin ecosystem you can go to a beginner friendly site like learnmeabitcoin[3] to get a background knowledge of Bitcoin and how it works. You can also read up more on the two links provided below it contains alot of Bitcoin network knowledge to satisfy your curiosities.

613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 20, 2024, 11:32:46 PM
This question has been repeated severally here the thing is it can't be answered finish because it occurs every day. firstly it's very normal to feel sad when it's are failing. if you keep trying ad it's not working you can give up or take a break.

long time ago I use to have this feeling that I'm out of luck that is why I don't win but I realized that everything has it own time may be the day you'd start wining you will be very surprised.

most people here will say you should gamble with what you can afford to lose, yes but even at that when you lose it comes with another feelings. try to manage your emotions and do not gamble as to make a living out of it, because once that thought is in you all you will be playing will be for that reason and greed will lead each step making it look like you're frustrated when you lose.
614  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How Does popular economic trends solve real life problem? on: February 20, 2024, 11:18:17 PM
I comprehend what your caping, the truth is the more people keep complaining to each other about the current economic situation it begins to build an awareness and aggression in the citizens that will probably lead to agitation. the trend will surely help when people start vomiting how bad the economy is becoming and with protest that will rise as a result of people being tired of complaining about the economic hardship.

In another sense I can say what you mean here is the word thread not trend.
which has to do with tarnishing of our countries image in the forum. I totally understand, note it's not everyone that will act the way you want so you have to let go and move on because it has nothing to do with your personal life after all the forum is anonymous.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A famous influencer lost more than $4000 in just 2 minutes. (2) on: February 20, 2024, 10:53:15 PM
It's very much disappointing to see people make careless bets even with the high level of awareness in the society about gambling and risk taking on gambling. If the influencer lost over $4k it's not supposed to be much a big deal for him because every big influencer has enough money to promote themselves by gambling and acting as if they are frustrated in the video. What I'm saying in essence is the video has been repeated by him the influencer losing money and acting so frustrated that could also be a way of teaching the audience.

But if truly he lost then chasing hid lost shouldn't be an option for him because it will lead to more losses.
616  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a coder on: February 20, 2024, 10:18:42 PM
I think you could get one in the service board.

You are just looking for service provider and not technically knowledge you can ask for already existing services of that nature i believe someone over there will be interested.

Or maybe move the thread there.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites including unsolicited games in betslips to ensure it fails on: February 20, 2024, 08:56:13 AM
I have once noticed this in a local betting site but I felt it was my mistake maybe I wasn't seeing clearly and I mistakingly hit the wrong match but since someone else has such experience its obviously not my fought last time. Although I initially took the predicted matches to a local sport betting shop to stake the game and at the end I had one extra game that messed the whole prediction may it was the person who stake it for me (sales representative) or something.

the best thing to do is to change a betting site that covers his requirements in betting. there are lots of site to use maybe he could find the one that is more reliable.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Demand for bitcoin exceeds supply by a factor of ten? on: February 20, 2024, 08:44:51 AM
The scarcity of every good always increase its demand and judging from the population in the world and with basic economical knowledge the higher it gets demanded the lower it circulates because of fear of missing Out but currently with the population of exchanges and Bitcoin adoption there is a tendency that there are lots of Bitcoin in exchanges waiting to be purchased/ claimed.

Perhaps there is no definite amount of demand, we all speculate at different levels the number of demand but it all mere speculations because it could be higher or even lower than we expected. so the your definite amount of 10x is obviously wrong/correct at the same time so it would be better left out that miss information.
619  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Any alternative outside Public Blockchain on: February 20, 2024, 02:04:25 AM
Bitcoin is quite broad to some extent but the technical knowledge of Bitcoin is most times said to be confusing but if studied over a little time one could get aquatinted with a basic knowledge. it's more easier to understand Bitcoin techs if you have a basic technically knowledge, but you could learn get a background knowledge from the website learnmeabitcoin[1] it's made easier for everyone to understand.

There have been some so called alternatives to Blockchain that has evolve over time and it's claimed to have gain more interest of the people in recent times[2], it includes a decentralized storage like storj and IPFS[3] you can read up from the web page. but in all Blockchain is still more reliable.

The light node also know as light client connects to full nodes for any transaction because it uses a smaller storage compared to the full nodes and basically the light client depends on the full nodes for information validation and verification instead of proceed transactions directly from any third party it relay on the full nodes for a correct information[4].

Like I said earlier you can visit learnmeabitcoin.com[5] to get a background knowledge of Bitcoin tech, you can also read the GitHub version of mastering Bitcoin to understand more better[6].

620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 19, 2024, 05:41:45 PM
That Is an assumption but it could be true and may not be true too.

From my perception, it's quite true because if I calculate how much I have lost while playing or gambling its either equal or higher than or even less than I have ever won. infact the assertion could be true because of the total number of people who must have experienced it.

From another sense of humor I can say it's not true because I have seen someone win always because she only depends on someone else bookie to gamble and most times because of the countless times she had won staked big and lucky her she had won severally and now I can say she has won more than loss. from this perspective it's not true.

We all have different experience so it's all depends on our experience.
