don't forget to leave negative trust:
IK_DO, you've effectively tried to create a run on a bank for this project. Stop fucking around with other people's money.

I can completely reasonably make a demand for answers if I want to, at a time when I choose to. The dev has been given all the time in the world to think, but I want to see proof of the goods.
I have no issues with you making demands for an update. But a demand or else "I'm declaring this project dead" is not reasonable for those of us who disagree with your finality. If you don't get an answer, you have the absolute right to complain, then walk away.

So even though the dev doesn't post here like ever here are the PMs I've received from him in relation to development (I did PM and ask him but he didn't reply back obviously so I just assume its fine to share this stuff). May 20: "About current development status, Core wallet that being tested contains all patches and many important bug fixes to match latest commits (May 9, 2016) of Shadow Project (see https://github.com/shadowproject/shadow/commits/master) Block number for requires hardfork of new protocol is currently planned for block 1,000,000 but could be postpone if needed. Security wise, our 2FA is being hardening in some areas. Bittorrent implementation is still in CLI phrase, nothing like pretty UI yet but I will try to provide you some screenshot or screencast showing what I am working on hopefully within next month. Regards, vTorrent" July 26: "Hello,
Please do not worry about that as all of the client running 0.8.1 are getting over 6 connections most of the time.
There are some problems in building Windows client since version 0.8.1, it is compiled with 0 errors but still get dozen of linker issues.
Once we get that problem solved with no other issue, 0.8.1 will be officially release to public.
Regards, vTorrent" As a side note I have paid for 3 months of premium at cryptoguru for the block explorer http://cryptoguru.tk/CurrencyInfo/index.php?Currency=VTRAs a disclaimer: I don't have any direct relationship to the dev, I'm just a long time investor in this project so would like to see it succeed eventually. The one shining quality about this project seems to be the complete lack of communication, I suppose if the dev really wanted to he could've pumped and dumped this shit like a thousand times over with bullshit announcements etc, but he hasn't. It's already been about 2 years of waiting for me, so I will remain patient and optimistic. Can you quit with this self proclaimed King Maker shit already. Like I said you're demands for an answer to your question because you are pissed off is hurting other peoples investment in both waiting time and money.

In the event the dev fails to meet this deadline (October 9th) I'll be asking the old timers from this thread/slack to sign my online petition (they can refuse, totally up to them) stating that this project has been abandoned. It won't count as anything official, but you can take it for what its worth.
So let me get this straight. You want to rage quit. And those that do not agree with your or want to follow you and sign whatever, can just fuck off? You're declaring my investment is worth zero, because you're pissed off, is that it? I can understand that you're pissed off. But have you ever considered that there are tons of people out there who watch, read, but never post? Now you're making decisions not only for yourself, but everyone, like it or not? Sounds like you sold up. Would you prefer to find out your investment is worth nothing now or in 6 months time? If you sold up, good for you. bye.

@dev
Can you please confirm the existence/current address of the premine.
If you fail to prove this then we can all assume that you've stopped developing this project.
Dear all,
This project is indeed still being actively developed.
Regards, vTorrent
I think I remember you posted a long time ago that the dev responds when he feels he needs to, not because you demand it. The guy logs in regularly to keep track of his thread. That probably happens behind a VPN so it's not a random login.

111 is like 50% bittrex' coins, no way vtr is included Seen the volume lately? ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) bittrex (so i assume the new korean exchange as well) doesn't prioritize volume over integrity / trustworthy. Dear all,
This project is indeed still being actively developed.

Evidently, they trust vTorrent devs, who have an open line of communications with each other based on previous support requests raised by Trex in this forum and which were dealt with swiftly. I guess it really is who you know that counts.

Dear all,
This project is indeed still being actively developed.
Due to nature of BitTorrent sharing, we have been experimenting with the possibility of migrating ZEC's zero-knowledge to VTR core to improve users anonymity and try to do without needing of reseting the current chain.
vTorrent 0.9.1z will be the first version to incorporate the zero-knowledge protocol and if resetting the chain is needed, there could possibly be a fork of vTorrent-Classic running by community keeping the 0.8.x chain.
There are some other plan along with this new chain, which is still being in discussion in our team.
Regards, vTorrent
For everyone buying at these levels, see you at X100 ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F4GgewGX.jpg&t=663&c=Jeu7oT9zmjt8Iw) vTorrent is on the biggest exchange in the world, that new coins can't get listed on. Korean version of Bittrex opening up soon, so VTR will be traded in the biggest market in the world. There is nothing but upside. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FqnVgFyM.png&t=663&c=rj7sffXkmsoqrQ) Keep the volume going and we'll see Korea open up

COME ON DEV WHERE ARE ME TORRENTS?
The new 8.2.1 wallet we are waiting for is gone from the network. They have had the new 0.8.2.1 wallet ready for months. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F3TNFRxf.png&t=663&c=SMBx8ynRsO_01Q) That means we can expect it to be released any day now, after months and months of testing. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYtLiNEF.gif&t=663&c=MkOzT-la-kxnbQ)

We were discussing this in the Slack channel. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.giphy.com%2Fmedia%2F3Zs26J8u7LWdW%2Fgiphy.gif&t=663&c=JNM-gfq3AxK3UQ) I don't speak on an official basis for this project or any other, but when someone like this person comes along and tries to tell you this or any other project is a winner you had best take a long, deep think before you do anything. This project has an interesting scope, it has an interesting vision and it could be extremely financially rewarding at some point in the future. However, our dev does not openly communicate updates until he has solid stuff to share (that's at least my opinion on the matter). This project is not an investment for the faint of heart. When you buy into any project that has been around as long as this one, you're lining the pockets of people who invested 2-3 years ago and have made anywhere from 50 to 100x their initial investment. Please, do your own research. Do your own thinking. By all means, go and explore projects that people suggest, but please do not go all in or take wild risks thinking you're going to come out the other side with a billion dollars. Because you most likely will not, and 99.9999999% you will not if some guy on YouTube suggests you invest in a project.Of specific note is that this person has not talked about the project as an "interesting project" but rather primarily as a vessel for investing your money in. This is a technology project first and foremost. The only money factor is what people have decided to arbitrarily give this currency. One day what they arbitrarily assign it may work for you and the next it may not. I can personally promise you that all the money I've made in crypto (which is a decent amount) has been through reading and researching by myself. I've spent somewhere in the region of 2-3000 hours reading about various projects and making my own decisions. Please, please do not follow these kind of people for your own good. Sorry but I don't care for the pump dump bullshit. If I make money off this, I want it to be because the dev has actually delivered on a cool project that works. There's already a guy who took out a bunch of credit cards and got himself in serious debt thinking this project was a guaranteed money maker. It's not. I can't sit idly by and let people throw their money into the drain, if I can at least throw up a huge warning sign and let you be aware that unless you're looking at this as a risky, volatile investment then you're making a huge mistake. And yeah, I might come out of this by having made this post with less money in my pockets. So be it. It isn't right to sit by when things are not right. As you have done lots of analysis and are a long-term supporter, you're basically saying the same thing as the YOUTUBE guy BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY
