601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: British cryptocurrency Electroneum hit by cyber attack after raising £30m on: November 07, 2017, 11:16:28 PM
wow, i never thought that this coin was going to be another scam, but yes, it looks like this recently hack attacked several ico's, like this, for example. i am so sorry for those who invested a lot of funds in there, i read a lot of posts about people saying that electroneum was going to be one of the best ico's from all time, but it looks like if they were wrong with that, lol.
But yes, maybe it is a little bit strange, just in when they raised that amount of money.. the hack suddenly appears.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Where will BTC be 10 years from now? on: November 07, 2017, 10:48:25 PM
It is impossible to know that mate, nobody can predict what is going to happen with bitcoin in some years because it is impossible, there is no way because we dont have a crystal ball in order to be able to predict the price. but it will solve a lot of problems in a near future, and i am sure about that, bitcoin has a lot of potential but the real governments are not seeing that, and this is a real problem and it needs to be solved asap.
Governments and financial institutions can still make profit from bitcoin, i dont know why they are not doing it at the moment, instead of spreading fud..
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proves hard to kill in China on: November 07, 2017, 10:34:35 PM
Obviously that it is hard to exterminate all those bitcoins who are still on China, it is almost impossible because bitcoins are still untreaceble, and there is no way to discover who is really owning them without a good trace of the funds.
But why are they trying to do it? i dont understand why the whole government is trying to stop those who are using bitcoins, because it makes no sense, they applied a regulation for the icos, far as i know, they didn't had any problem with bitcoin, nothing more than the exchanges, and this is why they closed all of them.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam on: November 05, 2017, 09:33:24 PM
This web-site looks poor and not very nice. Also now is a bad time for ICO. BTC is rising and ALTs are falling.

Exactly, they dont have a lot of budget and this is why they are a poor ico, they dont even have the funds to create a good campaign and not even to hire a good designer, and this is the first reason of why the investors doesnt put a money in those shady icos, i dont understand why most of the developers are still having the same issues everytime.
And regarding to the OP, try to read the whitepaper, if it does not convince you, then try to find a new ico, or just stay away from them for a while.

605  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if: an old hand dumps all their coins right now? on: November 05, 2017, 09:20:36 PM
just think about it, 1000 bitcoins are over 7 million dollars right now, 10k bitcoins are 70 million dollars, and the list goes on, this is a very huge marketcap for bitcoin, if more than 1 million of bitcoins are dumped, the whole marketcap will go to the hell, and this is not because i am saying it, it is true.
just do this math, 1m x 7600=7600 million dollars, this is more than a 15% percent of the whole capitalization, and bitcoin will go down to five thousand dollars for sure.
606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should starters use? on: November 05, 2017, 09:07:56 PM
When i was a newbie i started to use blockchain.info wallet, this is far the best wallet that i have ever used because it has a lot of security layers, and there is no way that you could be hacked if you are not such a dumb.
Xapo is a good wallet too, but it is too expensive to use because all of your transactions are going to cost you more than seven dollars each one because of their high fees.
If you are looking to store a huge amount of money, then buy an offline one.
607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin new high 7500 USD on: November 04, 2017, 11:51:06 PM
Of course, i saw this a few hours before, but now it is below $7400 each bitcoin, it has been moving between $7300 - $7450 since tuesday, anyway, it is an incredible amount of money and of course that it is pretty high.
It will be going up by a lot of money until the fork happens, just like it happened previously with the last fork of bitcoin gold.. And it will go down by a few hundreds once that it is done.
But who knows, maybe it can touch a new all time high once that it is done, nobody knows.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: segwit2x price prediction on: November 04, 2017, 11:28:21 PM
The futures speculation based on the price of segwitx2 coin is upto $1600 right now, it is an incredible amount of money, if it is true, and the price keeps being the same once that it is distributed, it would be the 2nd most expensive coin of all the cryptocurrencies that are now listed on the market.
If it happens, then all those free money will be invested on bitcoin, and it means that the price will be exploded and will go up by a lot of money, it is incredible.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will we get our Segwit2x Coins and how does it work exactly? on: November 04, 2017, 11:17:02 PM
you only have to search on the mined blocks of the blockchain, it can happen in 5 days from now, or maybe on november 11th, nobody knows the exactly date of this new fork, because it is based on the time that a block is taking to bitcoin miners.
The same happened with the last fork, it was supposed to be on october 25th, and it happened on october the 23rd at 6:00pm forum time, so it was almost 36 hours before, but i dont know, maybe this fork is very risky for the whole community, well, this is what i think.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $90,000 to invest in crypto for million dollars on: November 04, 2017, 11:02:17 PM
Yes, it is a very risky coin, it had it's gold times a few months ago when it was upto x2 from atm's price, i would not invest any dollar in this coin, it is very risky and it is not worth it.
If you have 90 thousand dollars, just invest that money on bitcoin, they will be up by a lot of money in a few months or maybe years from now, and i am sure about it.
It was below $700 at the beggining of this year, and now it is upto $7400 each bitcoin, the same will happen the next year, if everything goes well.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you should buy Bitcoin now. on: November 04, 2017, 10:47:10 PM
Maybe it is good to keep buying bitcoins for more time, but i would not invest anymore, it has been rising a lot and it is risky to invest now, just look at the charts, it is very risky to join any program when it has been bullish for months, without a good fall.
Maybe a lot of people will think that i am spreading "fud" but i am not, i trully believe on bitcoin, only that the price is very high if you want to join this train right now.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of my friends have finally dumped all of their alts on: November 04, 2017, 10:33:59 PM
I have done the same, i was holding a lot of golem's and zrx's for months, and i decided to dump them last saturday, and i exchanged all of those altcoins to bitcoin, and i am happy with that, because when i dumped them bitcoin was about $5700, and now it is upto $7450 each one.
I am only holding 2 ethereums, but i dont know, i dont want to dump them because i feel like that those are my favourites altcoins, no matter what, but yes, if it dumps below $275, i will dump them anyway.
613  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase Problem on: November 04, 2017, 10:21:18 PM
You should try to clean your cookies and delete your search history of your chrome/mozilla, or whatever you are using. I had this error with other websites before and when i deleted my search history + cookies it all went to normality again. And if it does not fix it automaticaly, just use their android/ios app, it should went through because their mobile app isn't full of bugs like their website is.
Or why dont you try to contact the support? maybe they can give you a good explanation about that.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More and more BitcoinATMs on: November 04, 2017, 10:08:18 PM
Mmm i have not seen any bitcoin atm in where i live, and there have been a lot of fake news about bitcoin atm's in my country, they said that more than 200 atm's were going to be built in here (it was posted on 2015) and until now, nothing has been built. But yes, it would be amazing to have one of them here in my city, because it would mean that i would not have to make 20 milles every week to exchange some bitcoins for fiat money..
But i think that it will be the same for so many years, my country does not support bitcoin at 100%.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine Altcoins or ICO that are too good to be true? on: November 03, 2017, 10:52:25 PM
It is so easy to determine that, just look at those ico's that are offering a lot of things to their investors, like those who also offer incredible discounts for those who invest in their pre-ico, i saw an ico that was giving around 70% discount for those who bought on pre-ico, and this in insane.
And if you see this on an ico, just do a research about the developer's linkedin profile, this is the best source to investigate about those people.
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for the BTC price rise on: November 03, 2017, 10:37:02 PM
It is only because of segwitx2 fork, there is no other reason to see this pump, or maybe this is because bitcoin had a lot of pumps this week because of the SEC and the news about bitcoin futures on banks/institutions.
I dont know, but it is going up so quickly, i am not afraid of it, it is just a little bit scary to see that it is going up so fast because it means that it can drop fast too.
But who knows? maybe it wont drop more, but i am sure that i would not buy bitcoins at atm's rate.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC warns that celebrity cryptocurrency endorsements may be illegal on: November 03, 2017, 10:18:15 PM
Those celebrities are not investing in bitcoin and less in icos.. they are only getting paid by a fortune and this is why they try to spread the word about that ico/project.
and there is nothing new with that, maybe this is a new kind of advertising, but it is good to hear that they are willing to make publicity about cryptocurrencies..
I remember when floyd mayweather posted an image on instagram in where he was advertising a new ico, when it got the pre-ico it finished in about 10 minutes, probably because of him.

618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When can we claim our free bitcoin gold? on: October 31, 2017, 10:36:15 PM
There isn't any blockchain and a real way to send bitcoin goldies at the moment, but you could claimed them a few days ago when the fork was done, anyway, you can export your private keys to another device who is accepting and distributing bitcoin gold and you will receive them right after away that you login.
but yes, they are not worth the risk, and the time, bitcoin gold is very cheap right now, maybe you are not going to receive many of them if you dont have a large amount of bitcoins in your wallet.
619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading BTC - Post Gold Fork on: October 31, 2017, 10:23:39 PM
Why would it not be safe? you can just trade it for bitcoin, tether, and ethereum (far as i know) better to exchange them as soon as possible before the price will dump much more money than now.
If you dumped then before you could probably have more money than if you sell them now... it was like $400 when it started to be tradeable and now it is below $110 each bitcoin gold.
Anyway, dump them if you want to receive those free bitcoins asap.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin All Time High Hit - 6300 on: October 31, 2017, 09:41:20 PM
It has been increasing so fast during the last week, i remember when it was like 5k just a week ago, and now it is above 6400, this is insane, i believe in that bitcoin will be more than 7k when the fork is done, i am sure of that.
just look at the charts, bitcoin increased by more than a thousand dollars when bitcoin gold was announced, the same is probably going to happen with this new fork, and i am sure of that.
just lets wait and see how it goes during the next days, i hope to see it over 7k before november 15th.
