601  Economy / Economics / Re: Life Insurance and Blockchain on: August 31, 2021, 02:40:37 PM
I believe, the success can be attained if the insurance company is already existing as they just need to develop their system according to blockchain technology .

I don't think that insurance is a wise choice to have.  Insurance and investment are two different things.  I wonder why people are willing to pay so much just for the risk they don't want.  For example accident insurance, life insurance, health insurance.  Even though we know how to invest in a good way to get a return instead of depositing money with the insurance company and letting them use our money to cover other people and so on.  No matter what technology is used, insurance will not be far from my words as above.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: August 31, 2021, 01:34:27 PM
Until that day comes, all we have to do is buy as much as we can afford without ruining our finances (do not buy more than you can afford) and then just hold on to them so that we could profit.

I can't deny that you are right, I have a real proof for what u have said. My friend has bought 10 BTC in the beginning 2011 just for have fun reason, and then several years he forgot that he has BTC. In the beginning 2020, the movement price of BTC has been a new trend in the world, he realized that he ever bought 10 BTC. Now you understand what the story next. He is become billioner.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 30, 2021, 05:54:24 PM

why not just conduct the transaction in fiat?
.
As a holder of BTC, one will be faced with some of the properties of a currency.  If it's like you said why not invest further, it doesn't fall into the category of three fuction of money.  In addition to investment, currency serves as a means of speculation and currency as a means of transaction and the last is a store of value.  So, it's a bit less fitting if we leave it without any tactics.
604  Economy / Economics / Re: First U.S. Bitcoin mutual fund launched by ProFunds on: August 30, 2021, 04:43:51 PM
If you look at this news it is said that this is the first mutual fund whose proportion is BTC.  For me, this is a new form of literacy for the public, especially for those who invest in mutual funds.  Each market has its own users, such as shares previously owned by Greyscale and other companies.  If the current proportion of mutual funds has shifted to a new trend, namely BTC, then this is a new level of mutual fund risk.  As I read in the book it said that equity funds were the riskiest but now that has changed.  When mutual funds purchased by consumers have a high value, I believe they will be more interested in investing and trading in the spot market than intermediaries.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the new gold standard of the future on: August 30, 2021, 02:51:52 PM
Investing in bitcoin and using bitcoin as a gold standard are slightly different things. It is one thing when individual citizens are engaged in these investments and how the state treats this, and it is quite another thing when the state can use bitcoin in its reserves on an equal basis or even instead of gold. Here there are a lot of nuances, both the availability of a legislative and regulatory framework, and the readiness of the state structures themselves for this. Nevertheless, the use of gold in the economy is worth many thousands of years and already quite well-developed mechanisms, which can not be said about bitcoin. Therefore, we can talk about investments as much as we want, but the gold standard at this point in time is unlikely to be threatened by anything.
Well, we have few things that are closer to it right now. First of all El Salvador accepts bitcoin as legal tender, which means that they may have bitcoin on their reserves as well since people would be able to pay taxes with it since it is legal tender, that is number one.

Secondly Miami mayor has said many times that they are willing to pay salaries in bitcoin, which requires them to have bitcoin, not really reserves thing but at least it is a government official, and bitcoin in the same sentence.

Thirdly we have many hedge funds and similar places that move from cash to bitcoin for their reserves, makes sense because until they find a better investment idea, they get to keep that in bitcoin as well. So long story short we are talking about a road map here, it is getting there, nations could soon have bitcoin reserves for in their treasury and doesn't look like it is too far away neither.

I agree with you, but not all governments in this world will legalize bitcoin because of the ego of each country's government.  They are aware that Bitcoin has a very large opportunity to be a solution to economic conditions that continue to be eroded by inflation.  So that by securing their authority as regulators, they argue that by introducing CBDCs to the public, the attachments are guaranteed to be safer.  There are no underlying assets in each country's currency other than the guarantee of the central bank.  What's the use of collateral if you save without making a profit.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 30, 2021, 01:01:53 PM
Let's focus again on the League as whole and let's forget Ronaldo for a while.
I know it's too early but seeing what we have seen these days I believe Thomas Tuchel has assembled a squad capable of going all the way this season; to me, Chelsea's the greatest candidate to win the title. In Premier League only strong groups can lead the pack and I'm convinced coach Thomas created such a great environment for his players.
There's still stuff to improve but the key factor is the atmosphere and the spirit.
They have it all.

Without a doubt, I agree with you, the strong candidates for the title are Chelsea and City, because these two clubs have coaches who have proven achievements with trophies that have been given to the clubs they coach. As for United, I think Ronaldo and Pogba might give positive results for the club, but I still have my doubts about Solksjaer.
If I'm not mistaken as a choach he hasn't give Man United a title, so the doubts arose for him, but the experience of several seasons must have taught him a lot to become great coach.
As Liverpool fans they deserve to be reckoned as candidates too, although there is no denying the chances of Chelsea looking bigger with their squats and a great coach, and also Man City as defending champions.

Chelsea are indeed a strong team but if at this time we immediately predict Chelsea who will win the game then I still have doubts.  Because after all, the possibility of another team winning is still high.  It's still very early.  In 2020, everyone was optimistic that Liverpool would win, but reality has changed.

But, I can't believe that there was no person with over 5k+ tickets to win anything from the last lottery.
~
This seems funny enough, I am sure there were people with millions of lottery tickets once again and none of them won anything, which proves the point of "you do not need millions of tickets to win something" once again, if I never win anything, it goes straight back to interest for me so it is not leaving freebitco.in (which I assume is a good thing for them) but it is really hopeful to see these results and continue.
It seems that many of these lucky ones got 4k+ lottery tickets from the wheel of fortune. Regarding whales with millions of lottery tickets, I guess such users don't worry about it because they wager a huge amount of BTC every week. I mean that winning of lottery is just like a bonus for them.
Even so, the lottery game is 99% luck, and my version of luck still has its own capital.  It is very difficult to find that in free spins you can get the jackpot.  Because like myself, my luck is small because my capital is also small.  How can expect big rewards from freebitcoin.in meanwhile I collected from daily free spin prizes and redeemed into lottery tickets did not change my luck significantly.

Tottenham are top of the table with 3 wins vs Manchester City, Wolves and Watford. I'm sure most of us don't think so, right?
It didn't cross my mind that Tottenham would be top of the table in the first three games of the season because I just thought that Manchester City, Chelsea or Liverpool would be there. One goal per game has taken them to secure 9 points so far and maybe they should try to score more goals for the next match vs Crystal Palace.

For Wolves vs Manchester United's third weekend final which is currently live, it seem that it will be easy to guess who the winner will be. Manchester United is likely to win the game even though the current score is still 0-0. 20 minute have passed but neither team has managed to score, it seem a little tighter than I expected. But I'm sure the goals will come soon.

Tottenham are at the top of the standings while this can not guarantee that they will be the winner of the premier league in 2021.  Likewise, what previously happened was that at the start of the 2020 Premier League Liverpool were top of the table several times but ended up with Man City being the final winners.  But if Tottenham can maintain and maintain their current position, then victory may be achieved.  Tottenham also should be able to have a trophy victory over the many leagues that have been passed.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: August 29, 2021, 03:17:18 PM
It was not their support that could help the market become reliable because we are already in that position long time ago and that is why we come into this.

But it does not ignore the fact that even though the government does not support Crypto in real terms, the conversion of Crypto to Fiat still has to go through the role and permission from the government. Because Chinese society is currently having trouble investing in Crypto because the government closes the Bank's bank account which is caught using and transacting Crypto.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: Cuba the next country to accept cryptocurrencies? on: August 29, 2021, 02:06:00 PM
But it is interesting - the population of Cuba is familiar with such words as "volatility" and "speculative market"? I mean that it is highly probable that on euphoria, the Cubans will buy cryptocurrencies, and she will once again make a drawdown by 2 times. And the next howl about the "imperialist conspiracy" will begin Smiley And then the Cubans will quickly, in a panic, sell everything at the lowest price ... Which after a while will grow again ... Well, you understand what I mean Smiley

I don't know for sure what the country is like, but if you look at stories about Cuba in western films, they do live more freely and naturally, the investment world is also more speculative and volatile.  It will be more possible for the whales to be wild in spreading rumors to take advantage, meaning who is the strongest, then he gets the big profit.  But I emphasize that this is still just my speculation, it can be refuted because the basis is not strong.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: August 28, 2021, 03:16:58 PM
the role of goverment in crypto = 0 absolute zero !! this is all about p2p , this is all about freedom ! This is our currencies .

You're right, the government have no control over the crypto currencies and therefore they will never want people to adopt crypto or crypto becoming the main stream currency. Even the banks do not want people to cash out fiat and convert it in bitcoins, this will being an end to the banking sector.

The government is on behalf of the people and wants to protect the people from the bubble opportunity in the crypto market as if it was just a hoax.  The essence of their intervention is only to control the economy which could be threatened because of the system owned by Crypto.  As a result, they legalized several exchangers such as in my country, namely Indodax, Tokocypto only to control user data or the kyc of the application.  Apart from the material benefits obtained by the government from these permits.  If you don't cooperate with the existing provisions, it will be considered as illegal as binance.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: August 28, 2021, 01:32:20 PM

Bitcoin has always been a topic and trend of investment in various business media such as Bloomberg, CNBC and so on, this is because the bitcoin market cap continues to increase and currently has reached $930 billion, this is a very large value and makes anyone interested in investing in bitcoin.

If it is made a topic by the media such as Bloomberg etc., I think it is a natural thing because the media will raise any topic for the sake of their media popularity.  Even though the market is in a bearish condition, I'm still sure the media will continue to highlight the crypto market.  However, if the benchmark of the trend is the market cap, I agree with you.  Before the bearish period, the crypto market was extremely large and after that it experienced a 50% decline from its circulating high.  But now the market has started to stabilize, the previous losses are slowly turning into gains again.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 04:57:08 AM
The match between Arsenal and Manchester City today is going to be a little bit tough.Manchester City should not expect a soft Arsenal, because I think they are really going to tighten their belt, considering the stands of Mikel Arteta as the team manager, and for the likes of some senior players that are back from injury, the likes of Aubameyang, and Lacazette who will prove troublesome upfront.

However,Manchester City will be looking forward to beating Arsenal as they are not in form.and have lost two of their previous matches,City will be hoping to rundown on arsenal .But I still think Manchester City will win that encounter.

Seeing Arsenal's previous match weak from the attack side, if they don't learn from their previous mistakes then the same thing will be repeated from today's match against Man City.  After all, Man City is a stronger team from an internal side than Arsenal.  Team Man City is also more ready to play.  Arsenal can't be underestimated but statistically Arsenal have a smaller chance of winning.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend got arrested in a p2p scam on: August 27, 2021, 07:14:26 PM
if talking about the scam that your friend has experienced until he goes to jail, I also a few days ago almost had the same problem but this hasn't happened yet.  During my time on Bitcointalk, I rarely used pm for personal matters and suddenly 1 notification appeared in pm from a newbie with the content "Please reply to my message quickly, this is important" and I ignored it because I didn't know him.  Two days later, another newbie pm me with the content "are you oHnK in the telegram with the username xxxx".  I was immediately shocked by the contents of the newbie pm because there were people who were impersonating.  I immediately replied, "it's not me, and if he asks for money or anything don't ever give it" then the newbie replied immediately "he borrowed money using your name, and will provide a guarantee in the form of a Bitcointalk oHnK account

It's a sad case why it has to be like this, I think Mendy has bad behavior so he tries to rape someone, but I still haven't seen the news in the other whether this case is proven or not.
What is clear is that this is a shame for a big team, Manchester City, he will get punished if we see it validly.

Indeed, Mandy is known as a man city player who lacks a good attitude.  I think this issue will increase the dislike of fans towards him.  Moreover, the case that happened to him was rape.  Very bad attitude owned by a famous club player.  If proven true, I think his career will be over.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: August 26, 2021, 03:41:21 PM
criminal acts  terrorist financing and money laundering,
that's a classic reason and that reason makes bitcoin not legalized in every country
actually money laundering has also been happening since before bitcoin and the government who didn't like bitcoin made that excuse,
Money laundering can be avoided if the government has transparency in the costs of its financial expenditures
governments that say bitcoin is a destroyer of the economy, those whose countries are afraid that if their people have financial freedom and don't need their jobs by trading on crypto exchanges can already meet their needs, and a country's fiat will weaken, if this situation really happens

The banning of BTC in many countries is only due to political reasons that are said by the Government. I assume all of that is just their nonsense as regulators. As long as you understand the risks you face in investing in BTC then it is your business, not theirs. There is no need to prohibit, it is enough that public literacy is important and how to manage risk in investing so that people are literate in financial literacy.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news Citigroup Reportedly Working to Start Trading Bitcoin Futures. on: August 26, 2021, 02:11:36 PM
Citigroup's interest in crypto assets is one form of adjustment to the development of investment in the world. With an investment company background, they are already obliged to make adjustments. It's a bit strange that investment companies don't understand and are interested in crypto products. News of sufficient developments has become a factor supporting the strengthening of the market. If I had to choose, buy stocks or crypto. Yes, obviously choose crypto. Same with high risk, why not take the higher risk to get a higher return.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the validity of a mixed economy system? on: August 26, 2021, 01:10:46 PM
I don't think there is an economy which is purely capitalist or socialist or whatever. I guess every economy has a certain level of hybridity. The US, for example, is a highly capitalist country but it doesn't mean the state is completely hands-off from the country's affairs involving what is supposed to be a free market. China, on the other hand, is considered a socialist country and yet it also doesn't mean the country does not allow private capitalists.
True, I can't think of a country that is purely capitalist or socialist, except for North Korea. Last time I watch the documentary, people there still rely on government to provide them with jobs, shelter, clothes, etc. I think private property doesn't exist there CMIIW.

As for modern countries, they incorporate the socialist program into basically a capitalistic society. Social security, healthcare, pension, etc., managed by government funded by taxes.

China is a country that adheres to a socialist economic system but the sense of capitalism is even more capitalist than the capitalist country itself like America. I've seen in the book that, changes in the style of economic management in China have taken place since the leadership of Deng Xiaoping. He was the leader of China who implemented this capitalist sense of the socialist system and became China that it is today. The name is a system, there is no standard system because the system will follow the times. Maybe we were all taught since elementary school that the economic system varies as the OP wrote, but due to adjustments, all countries even depend on each other and cause competition that each country must anticipate.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 25, 2021, 05:19:42 PM
PayPal has started working with cryptocurrencies and it proved to be very profitable for them. So I am not sure why the banks can't do the same. It is not necessary for them to take a decision to exclude modes of payment other than fiat currency. And although it is true that cryptocurrencies threaten the current banking model, there are a few sectors where both the sides can benefit from cooperation. Cryptocurrency is still in early adopter stage, and if the banks incorporate it into their platform, then in the long term they will benefit.
If we talked about banking, we will collide with the ego of the institution, how can an institution that is formed on the basis of economists who understand centralization become the recipient of the notion of decentralization.  Crypto is an innovation that disrupts institutions such as banking.  There will be no need for a bank if Crypto is used massively.  There is no need for a bank teller and a sloppy customer service when we make small transactions.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: August 25, 2021, 04:23:15 PM
exposure to crypto and bitcoin is more public than ever but due to the urgency of the pandemic and people's quick needs, too much information has been distorted and many crypto scams have been created. The future may be hard to tell if this is an opportunity or a very deep puddle without a bottom

You shouldn't be too much in the analogy for the future of crypto. Most of crypto will be considered as a scam just because of the other case, It still make sense. In this case, we have to make clear that you can call it as a scam if the possibility to be a victim is higher than you get profit. If you can avoid ur self to stuck on the scam, It will not be problem. I just wanna highlight that most of crypto are still precious.
